Social media platforms are used to measure the content popularity among the user based on their comments on the post content. Marketers often use these social media platforms to communicate with the audience and disseminate their marketing message in a most effective and efficient way. In this research, sports advertisement discussions have been extracted from Reddit and a sentiment analysis has been conducted on the message posted by an author and response received by the users. The study uses Python based algorithms for the analysis of the sentiments and to explore the emotional or sentimental relationship between authors' post and user' comment and to understand the user comments behavior based on post sentiments.

On a global level, business organizations are going through a transition as many of them are making strategic changes to become more ethical and socially responsible organizations. CSR is helpful with regard to making an organization socially responsible in terms of current business practices. This study has been conducted in the context of CSR, which is often proclaimed as a vital movement, asking business organizations to lead positive societal change. In this study, we have endeavored to create a structural model of various social responsibility enablers that help an organization to drive positive societal change in the macro-environment. The social responsibility enablers were extracted through a literature review and then analyzed in terms of their importance and association, with the help of expert mining and ISMMICMAC. The findings show that top management commitment, strategic policies, green CSR, and community engagement play an essential role in driving positive societal change.

Business organizations are changing their traditional ways of doing business as they become more responsible towards sustainability and social responsibility. For business firms, sustainable development can be a source of social reputation, innovation, and competitive advantage. Earlier it was observed that CSR is a way that contributes to sustainable development in the field of agriculture, economic empowerment, rural infrastructure, education, and health, which mainly make the agricultural sector a significant recipient of CSR interventions. However, to deal with the sustainability issues, an organization needs to study all those enablers that lead to sustainable value creation and help achieve a more compatible relationship with society and the environment. Therefore, this study looks into corporate social responsibility (CSR) and other vital enablers identified through an extensive literature review of CSR and sustainability articles to develop a conceptual framework for sustainable agriculture and analyze the hierarchical relationship between all the enablers.

Agribusiness is undergoing a global transition from ordinary cultivation to an agro-industrial sector. Agripreneurship is a new way of transforming agriculture into an enterprise in current business practices. This paper is written in the context of India, where many efforts have been made to encourage sustainable economic growth and development over the past decades. However, no significant progress has been seen in the agri-industry. The Indian agricultural sector is also afflicted with several other challenges related to the globalized economy, natural resource degradation, widespread rural poverty, and increasing competitiveness. In this study, we have endeavored to create an agripreneur inclination model in the context of the Indian rural sector. The objective of this study is to identify programs and policies that effectively support the development of agripreneurs. We also attempt to identify the characteristics of individuals who are more likely to become agripreneurs. The methodology we have used is based on the ISM–MICMAC technique. The findings show that agripreneur courses, agricultural policies, training and development modules, government cooperation, and the involvement of institutional heads play an essential role in inspiring the younger generation toward agripreneurship. This study’s findings will help policy makers design effective policies to motivate the younger generation to consider the agricultural sector as a career option.

Mobile commerce has nowadays become a popular internet marketing strategy which operates through various mobile devices. Mobile shopping and mobile banking are the two phenomenal shifts that have transcended the consumers' attentions and interest towards online shopping. Both national players (Flipkart, Myntra, Snapdeal) and international players (Amazon, eBay) are working strategically in m-commerce business so as to increase their market share. Mobile apps are designed in such a way that they exclusively focus on increasing user engagement and make their experience easier. The aim of this research paper is to analyse the effect of mobile shopping apps on middle age consumers buying behaviour. The results revealed the significant impact of mobile shopping apps on buying behaviour of middle age consumers. A significant number of studies have been conducted on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its impact on different business organizations. However, no such study has been witnessed so far that could explain the nature of the amount involved in the CSR spending. The main purpose of the study is to analyze the viewpoint of different organizations that how they consider this CSR spending. In a current scenario, organizations have failed to take responsibility for what they are operating, so it is needed to consider the real cost of their functioning which brings a focus toward the environmental and social concerns. On the other hand, CSR also became legitimate spending stipulated in the Indian companies act, 2013. According to the act, every business organization is a responsible player to build an equitable society and for that CSR should be a part of the DNA of every organization. Through this paper, we made an attempt to see the nature of CSR adopted by different organizations, whether it is voluntary or mandatory. We reviewed some survey reports made on CSR before and after the Indian companies act, 2013. These reports provide a perspective on CSR perceptions of different business organizations. For empirical analysis, we have analyzed 100 listed companies’ financial reports to know whether CSR mandate impact their performance or not. Using a difference-in-difference approach, we found that before the legitimation of CSR the performance found to be better than post CSR legislation. This paper is also an attempt to present a conceptual analysis of the CSR spending before and after its legitimation in India which will help us to determine whether it should be treated as an investment opportunity or a forced liability.

A significant number of studies have been made in the area of agricultural economics; however, there is a paucity of work that investigates factors or determinants which influence the financial performance of agro cooperatives. This paper investigates determinants of financial performance for the United States (U.S.) agricultural cooperatives for the period 2009–2017. By using the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) database, we created a sample of 37 U.S. agro cooperatives. For analysis, we used panel regression analysis as it is suitable to deal with fixed effect or random effect error component presented in the model. Finding states that the U.S. agro cooperatives are found highly sensitive to economic policy uncertainty. The results provide evidence of a negative relationship between size and profitability. Moreover, the impact of growth and capital intensity is also reflected in the return on asset (ROA). In this study, we considered ROA as a proxy for firm performan...

The article aims to investigate the Critical Success Factors (CSFs) of technology forecasting. It also attempts to build a consensus from the previous work to develop an evaluation matrix of the same with a view to segregate these factors based on multiple perspective approach. The literature survey reveals that exiguous studies exist pertaining to the CSFs of technology forecasting, that too with a limited focus. Hence, the opportunity and need to write a research article in this domain became rather obvious. The article seeks to understand and identify the success factors of technology forecasting activities and how these factors can be put into practice to help the forecasting process. Some 44 variables contributing towards the technology forecasting success were collected and 16 critical factors were derived out of them, using intuitive judgement based on majority criterion. The analysis revealed that accuracy in forecasting followed by an understanding of the technological change, are the most critical factors in the success of technology forecasting.

A significant number of studies have been conducted to forecast the expanding market and evaluate new generation smartphone technologies. However, no such study has been witnessed so far that could forecast the release time of these technologies. The purpose of the paper is to test the forecasting capabilities of stepwise regression in forecasting the smartphones commercialisation time. This technique predicts the release time of smartphones released in 2006 (belonging to the second generation of smartphones) and 2007 (belonging to the third generation of smartphones). The stepwise regression approach based on 12 year data set from 1994 to 2005 determines whether it provides a superior fitting and forecasting performance. The validation approach applied for the first- and second-generation smartphones will benefit future researchers and practitioners in understanding that a regression model developed on the basis of one generation may not give accurate results for the next generation, owing to the fact that technological developments are multi-folded.

In this paper, we have developed the supply chain evaluation framework by assessing the performance of supply chain in its operational environment. This is a conceptual paper, which includes extensive literature review, environmental analysis and brainstorming with experts of this field. It gives an insight into various aspects of supply chain and the issues associated with it which include: supply chain performance and its benefits, need of a good evaluation system for supply chain, existing frameworks/models and framework for the evaluation of supply chain performance measurement systems. We propose the framework for supply chain evaluation in dynamic business settings. Our work is confined to the development of framework for making a system to evaluate the supply chain. Development and execution of this system and its success will decide the adaptability of the framework proposed to meet the needs of the industry. The proposed framework is a noble approach to the development of supply chain evaluation system which considers supply chain functional issues, issues associated with its partners and environmental issues in which it operates.

Plug and play data recovery devices provides a mechanism for quick and hassle free data backup. They help in data storage and backup without having to incur the cost of offsite infrastructure. Many service providers help organisations to safeguard their confidential data by not only devising but also managing the entire process and maintain it on their behalf. The interaction between organisation and service providers is accomplished through service level agreements. SLA is a statement wherein various service level options are provided out of which the best suited option is selected to support the customer organisation, which describes the services to be given specifying the timing, frequency and cost of service. It is a continuous process which ensures not only the proper adoption but also that the services defined is correctly and effectually delivered.
