The aim of this work is to discuss the literature written by women in a decentralized way to
what is culturally attributed to the feminine and the very notion of woman, which also compulsorily
supposes heterosexuality. The critical reading proposed has the basic concept of "space off" (DE
LAURETIS, 1994) to think the speeches that inhabit spaces inside and outside the dominant culture, the
"blind spot" implicit but invisible in a position of contradiction and resistance capable of (re)constructing
and (re)inscripting the gender. Initially, I seek to demonstrate why the notion of feminine is here
problematized, opting for thinking literature written by women and about lesbianity as a discourse that
comes from this alternative space, from the breaches of the hegemonic discourse, threatening its stability.
Then the work Thérèse et Isabelle (2000) by Violette Leduc is here analyzed to think about the possibilities
in the literature of a discourse, whose theme is not only an experience of women, but the relationship
between two girls, articulated in a text that explores the desiring body in its plurality. Such work is
identified as belonging to the “lesbian continuum” thought by Adrienne Rich (2010), whose very existence
is a way to break the hegemonic discourse through the fissures breaking out inside the discourse itself.

Since it began in the 1970s, feminist film theory has revolutionized the way that films and their spectators can be understood. This book focuses on the groundbreaking work of Laura Mulvey, Kaja Silverman, Teresa de Lauretis, and Barbara Creed. Each of these thinkers has opened up a new and distinctive approach to the study of film and this book provides the most detailed account so far of their ideas. It illuminates
the following six key concepts and demonstrates their value
as tools for film analysis:

• the male gaze
• the female voice
• technologies of gender
• queering desire
• the monstrous-feminine
• masculinity in crisis.

Shohini Chaudhuri shows how these four thinkers construct their theories through their reading of films as well as testing their ideas with a number of other examples from contemporary cinema and television. She concludes that the concepts have not remained static over the past thirty years but have continually evolved with the influence of new
critical debates and developments in film production, signalling their continuing impact and relevance in an era that is often unthinkingly branded as ‘post-feminist’.

In Freud's Drive (2008), Teresa de Lauretis tries to keep the Freudian concept of the drive together with the Foucauldian category of biopolitics, through the mediation of Fanon's understanding of race. Indeed, according to Jean Laplanche, the drive does not coincide with the instinct, but it leans on the instinct and sticks onto the bodily surface. By doing so, it individuates an intermediate region between the physical and the psychic, like the one where race spreads out and biopolitics acts upon. From this region, the drive troubles the inscription of the subject into the social order, pushing them towards their dissolution. We should start from there if we wish not only to overcome vain dichotomies in queer theory between essentialism and constructivism, or between political and apolitical thinking, but also 'to do justice' to Freud and Foucault. And if we wish to stay queer while doing queer theory.

L’articolo tenta di delineare un’analisi comparata fra Artemisia (1947) di Anna Banti e To the Lighthouse (1927) di Virginia Woolf, con particolare attenzione ai personaggi di Artemisia e Lily Briscoe, entrambe pittrici. Sebbene la scrittrice inglese sia stata più volte evocata dalla critica bantiana, infatti, mai le due autrici sono state oggetto di uno studio comparativo sistematico: approfondire i possibili legami intertestuali fra Artemisia e Al faro, cui spesso vengono preferite altre opere woolfiane come Orlando o A room of One’s Own, potrebbe pertanto rivelarsi interessante per indagare da un’ulteriore prospettiva la costruzione del primo personaggio di finzione ispirato alla vicenda di Artemisia Gentileschi – a maggior ragione perché nei decenni successivi la pittrice barocca sarà oggetto di un vero e proprio processo di “finzionalizzazione”, fra romanzi, opere teatrali, film, graphic novel, docufiction ecc.

The essay aims to outline a comparative analysis between Anna Banti’s Artemisia (1947) and Virginia Woolf’s To the Lighthouse, with a focus on the characters of Artemisia and Lily Briscoe, both painters. Indeed, even if the English writer was often mentioned by Banti’s critics, the two authors have never been the object of a systematic comparative study. Therefore, the article deepens the potential connections between Artemisia and To the Lighthouse (and not the most quoted Orlando or A room of One’s Own) in order to investigate from a further point of view the construction of the first fictional character inspired by Artemisia Gentileschi - particularly since the baroque painter will be the subject of a massive fictionalising process in the following decades, including novels, plays, films, graphic novels, docufictions etc.

This book is an attempt to save “the sexual” from the oblivion to which certain strands in queer theory tend to condemn it, and at the same time to limit the risks of anti-politics and solipsism contained in what has been termed antisocial queer theory. It takes a journey from Sigmund Freud to Mario Mieli and Guy Hocquenghem, from Michel Foucault and Judith Butler to Teresa de Lauretis, Leo Bersani, Lee Edelman, and Tim Dean, and from all of these thinkers back to Immanuel Kant and Thomas Hobbes. At the end, through readings of Bruce LaBruce’s movies on gay zombies, the elitism of antisocial queer theory is brought into contact with popular culture. The living dead come to represent a dispossessed form of subjectivity, whose monstrous drives are counterposed to predatory desires of liberal individuals. The reader is thus lead into the interstitial spaces of the Queer Apocalypses, where the past and the future collapse onto the present, and sexual minorities resurrect to the chance of a non-heroic political agency.

Begehren, Sexualität, Intimität und Affektivität sind feinmaschig in die spätkapitalistische Matrix des Sozialen eingewebt. Die Studie untersucht die politische Ökonomie des Begehrens nach 1968. Sie unternimmt einen Streifzug quer durch die Philosophiegeschichte – von Platon über die Psychoanalyse zum Poststrukturalismus. Dabei geht sie von der Annahme aus, dass Ökonomie einen konstitutiven Faktor darstellt, wenn man Begehren begreifen will. Umgekehrt lassen sich sozioökonomische Strukturen nicht ohne die Rolle des Begehrens verstehen. Begehren wirkt sozialmobilisierend, indem es normative Ordnungen sowohl errichten und aufrechterhalten als auch überschreiten kann. Neben paradigmatischen Positionen von Platon, Georg W. F. Hegel, Friedrich Nietzsche und Sigmund Freud werden begehrensökonomische Thesen von Gilles Deleuze und Félix Guattari und der im Paris von Mai ’68 aufkommenden Philosophie des Begehrens betrachtet.

¿Qué tipo de visiones del amor y de la identidad de las mujeres se encuentran codificadas en la narrativa estudiada? ¿Qué discursos amorosos ocupan un lugar hegemónico y cómo se relacionan con la lógica cultural de la Transición? ¿Tienen el amor y la identidad un carácter subversivo o, al contrario, propugnan ideas conservadoras? ¿Cómo se relacionan la política afectiva, las narraciones culturales y los mecanismos de la construcción de las identidades con el poder? ¿Funciona la perspectiva femenina de la Transición como una perspectiva aparte? La producción literaria, incluso si se refiere a los temas supuestamente aideológicos como el amor, está marcada por el poder y sus discursos, sin dejar por ello de ser un lugar posible de subversión, negociación y reconstrucción.
Este libro tiene como objetivo analizar la codificación del amor y de la identidad en la novelística de escritoras españolas contemporáneas dentro de su marco histórico (1975-2015) y en relación con la “promesa de felicidad” que le es propia, así como en el marco de la Transición, un período impregnado por cambios en las estructuras políticas, socioeconómicas y culturales. A partir de una suerte de diálogos literario-teóricos levanta un puente entre las novelistas escogidas y las pensadoras feministas: Rosa Montero y Eva Illouz (cap.1), Carme Riera y Luce Irigaray (cap.2), Esther Tusquets y Julia Kristeva (cap.3), Montserrat Roig y Teresa de Lauretis (cap.4), Dulce Chacón y Carol Gilligan (cap.5), Almudena Grandes y Judith Butler (cap.6).

Teresa de Lauretis se pregunta en Género y teoría queer por qué se ha puesto, en los últimos años, el foco en la de identidad de género y no en la identidad sexual. Es importante entender la diferencia conceptual que propone y ahondar en esta tesis que puede servir como marco para el análisis literario. La tesis mencionada, remarca la necesidad de entender la identidad sexual como práctica cuyo potencial político es su propia legitimidad social. En un contexto mundial en el que Israel utiliza el pinkwashing, hacer política sexual de disidencia se torna un imperativo para desenmascarar la hipocresía y el moralismo. Naty Menstrual y Susy Shock son dos artistas argentinas trans cuya obra escrita está impregnada de la disidencia sexual como propuesta política. En sus escritos, ambas problematizan las identidades estables lgtbiq y reivindican el género y la orientación sexual como una construcción social con la que es posible jugar como herramienta de liberación. Esta propuesta no queda reducida la teoría sino que también reconoce la utilidad estratégica de las categorías. Utilizan la farsa de estas
identidades en las ocasiones requeridas pero no olvidan que son solo cajones manufacturados en los que encerrarlas.

El artículo problematiza el modo en que las series televisivas actuales escenifican ciertos desbordes subjetivos en su lectura de la condición femenina. Se propone un acercamiento transversal a los estudios de género recuperando aportes de la semiótica de Yuri Lotman, enclave fértil para interpelar una memoria cultural que ha modelizado el empoderamiento femenino como desborde afectivo y tiranía política. En torno al desenlace de Game of Thrones, el trabajo se interroga por ficciones populares que encierran la promesa de un feminismo y de alternativas a una heteronormatividad tradicional, pero que terminan volviendo esta demanda social y política una operación de mercado.

In Vampires in Transition, I develop semiotic analyses of two key films of the Spanish transition: Elisa, vida mia (Carlos Saura, 1977) and Arrebato (Ivan Zulueta, 1980). Building off Gilles Deleuze's semiotics (1986, 1989) and Teresa de Lauretis' film theory (1984, 1987) – both drawing on Charles Sanders Peirce (1930-35/1958), I have designed three inter-connected concepts in relation to the vampire figuration: 'vampire-images', 'camera-vampires', and the 'phoenix'. One one hand, these concepts aim to approach the films under study through decolonial and trans-feminist perspectives. On the other hand, they intend to draw meaningful insights on Hispanic film studies in relation to what Donna Haraway calls “informatics of domination” (1991c). Departing from one of the peripheral meanings of the vampire – a male sexual predator, the vampire has been designed as a perverse figuration of structural violence in cybernetic capitalism which could help us understand the relationship between massive addictive habits of digital machines and western patriarchal agendas, as Wendy Huy Kyong Chun studies (2016). Drawing on Teresa de Luretis (1984) and my own trans-faggot experience, vampire-images are designed to give an account of the processes of simulation that work to erase traces of exploitation. They depart from Gilles Deleuze's time-images of modern cinema (1989), which imply irrational cuts caused by particular relinkages of sound and visual data. In addition, as my analysis of Elisa, vida mia attempts to prove, vampire-images involve icons of women as objectified or subordinated to men. The 'camera-vampire', particularly outstanding in Arrebato, stands as a tool to capture and observe the effects of vampires, but its cybernetic design involves a feedback-loop system, which often implies vampiric procedures and habits. Last, as a way to mediate between images and cameras through my own situated knowledge, I have designed an inter-connected phoenix figuration, particularly drawing on Joanne K. Rowling's Harry Potter: The Order of the Phoenix (2003). Building on the ethics of Zhuangzi (2003) and Karen Barad (2007), phoenix tokens transform the predatory and immortal features of vampires as a way to remind us the never-ending change of material-discursive practices. Last, by public screenings and debates and practices of situated knowledge (Haraway, 1991) and anthropophagic procedures (Suely Rolnik, 1998), I have aimed at decolonizing my id-entity (Anibal Quijano, 2000) as Spanish and European citizen designed at birth as 'male', apart from sharing and spreading revolutionary faith.

Resumen:

E n Vampiros en transicion, he llevado a cabo analisis semioticos de dos peliculas clave de la transicion espanola: Elisa, vida mia (Carlos Saura, 1977) y Arrebato (Ivan Zulueta, 1980). A traves de la semiotica de Gilles Deleuze (1986, 1989) y la teoria filmica de Teresa de Lauretis (1984, 1987), ambxs basandose en Charles Sanders Peirce (1931-35/1958), he disenado tres conceptos interrelacionados a traves de la figura del vampiro con la intencion, por una parte, de aproximarme a estos filmes y a sus lecturas a traves de perspectivas decoloniales y trans-feministas, y por otra, de entender las vicisitudes de lo que autoras como Donna Haraway han llamado la “informatica de la dominacion” (1991c) en relacion con los estudios de cine hispano. Inspirandome en sus usos perifericos (el vampiro como seductor y depredador sexual), el vampiro surge como una figuracion perversa del capitalismo cibernetico para abarcar diferentes realidades mediatizadas tecnologicamente y fuertemente relacionadas con el sistema patriarcal occidental, como los habitos adictivos de consumo tecnologico (Wendy Huy Kyong Chun, 2016). Apoyandome en Teresa de Lauretis (1984) y a traves de mi experiencia trans-marica, la imagen-vampiro explica como se llevan a cabo procesos de simulacion de condiciones de explotacion. La imagen-vampiro parte de lo que Deleuze llamo la imagen-tiempo del cine moderno, que involucran cortes irracionales a traves de re-asociaciones de material audiovisual (1989). Ademas, como el analisis de Elisa, vida mia trata de explorar, las imagenes-vampiro implican iconos de mujeres objetificadas o subordinadas a los hombres. La 'camara-vampiro', specialmente notable en Arrebato, surge como una herramienta para intentar capturar efectos vampiricos, pero su propio diseno cibernetico implica un sistema de retroalimentacion, que en numerosas ocasiones lleva asociado procedimientos y habitos vampiricos. Por ultimo, y mediando entre los dos conceptos mencionados, he disenado una figuracion fenix que se inspira en Harry Potter: The Order of the Phoenix (Joanne K. Rowling, 2003). Basandome en la etica de Zhuangzi (2003) y Karen Barad (2007), los signos fenix transmutan el caracter depredador e inmortal del capitalismo vampirico para recordarnos el poder cambiante de las practicas materiales y discursivas, Por ultimo, a traves de visionados publicos y debates y de la aplicacion de metodologias situadas (Haraway, 1991) y antropofagas (Suely Rolnik, 1998), he intentado decolonizar mi id-entidad (Anibal Quijano, 2000) como ciudadanx espanolx y europex designadx al nacer como 'varon' y compartir y propagar una fe revolucionaria.

¿En qué momento la propia subjetividad se convierte en una forma de resistencia? El presente artículo tiene por finalidad comparar de qué manera tres autores diferentes -con propósitos diferentes- responden a esta pregunta: Michel Foucault (quien inicia este debate e influencia a ambas autoras feministas), Judith Butler y Teresa De Lauretis. En los últimos dos casos, se trata de pensar una política feminista a partir de una afinidad teórica en la cual se prescinde del sujeto clásico del humanismo moderno--en el caso del feminismo, la mujer--, y cómo esta rearticulación concibe lo que podemos denominar "sujeto post-humanista" del feminismo. Paradójicamente, quien podemos identificar a priori como más cercana al pensamiento de Foucault (i.e. Butler) termina por ser quien menos apela a la dimensión material de la subjetivación dentro del poder para pensar en nuevas formas de subjetividad para un feminismo crítico.

This essay will explore the complex system of self-representation that Sylvia Plath employs for the composition of The Bell Jar. By way of a close reading of the novel, attentive to its relationship both to the Bildungsroman and to certain forms of (semi)autobiographical writing, the essay contends that, in Plath, writing acquires a symbolic function. The novel’s linguistic dimension, in fact, is not communicative, but rather poietic – a testament of the nascent vocation of writing to which Plath attributes a project of self-construction. By stressing the dialectic of birth, death and rebirth that permeates the novel, the essay attempts to reconstruct the stages of the battle that Plath fights to attain a more authentic subjectivity, a battle that takes the form of an ‘initiation rite’.

Para Julieta Gamboa, la poesía se convierte en el espacio idóneo para ir “deconstruyendo” al sujeto lírico con la finalidad de replantear las prácticas eróticas-afectivas a partir de la conformación de un deseo alternativo que cuestione profundamente el discurso “heteronormativo”. Estas relaciones erótico-afectivas entre mujeres han logrado conferir todo un proceso de materialización de los propios sujetos, así como las prácticas eróticas, amorosas y corporales de estos, las cuales han sido negadas y puestas en duda a lo largo de la historia. Por lo tanto, este trabajo explora la manera en la cual Julieta Gamboa en su poemario Taxonomía de un cuerpo (2012) transforma las prácticas sexuales reprimidas (en este caso el lesbianismo), en una relación erótica-afectiva de resistencia. Para ello, se realizará una contraposición entre el deseo sexual “heteronormativizado” impuesto por el discurso médico-legal y el deseo entendido como pulsión subjetiva; así como una revaloración del sujeto por medio de sus prácticas erótico-afectivas (el denominado “Cuerpo sin Órganos” de Gilles Deleuze y Félix Guattari), que lo alejan de la categorización sistemática y represora dictaminada por el discurso taxonómico.

The films of Chantal Akerman explore one of the key issues in the representation of female desire: the debate about the mechanisms of a language which, according to Laura Mulvey, is based on a male gaze founded on scopophilia, voyeurism, and fetishism. This article uses the film La captive (2000) and the desire between its two protagonists, Ariane and Simon, to reconsider the link established in feminist theory between language, the gaze, and desire. My hypothesis is that the confinement of Akerman’s female protagonist, expressed through the two dimensions of submission and intimacy, takes an approach to female desire that constitutes an alternative to the forms of the gaze associated with the male tradition of representation. This approach engages in a close dialogue with the concept of desire posited by Emmanuel Levinas, whose ideas had a huge influence on Akerman’s understanding of how to film the Other, as well as the relationship between the image and its observer.

Este trabajo pretende analizar distintos aspectos de la experiencia de mujeres mexicanas que formaron parte de la organización político-militar denominada Liga Comunista 23 de Septiembre entre 1973 y 1977. El objetivo es explorar si la transgresión que les significó a ellas el asumir el rol de combatientes les permitió adoptar comportamientos
que llegaron a desplazar la representación tradicional de la mujer y cuestionar su propia identidad genérica. Desde la crítica feminista, y a partir del concepto de tecnología de género propuesto por Teresa De Lauretis, el análisis se centra en aspectos como la sexualidad y las tareas establecidas para los varones y las mujeres dentro de la organización.

“Donnez-moi donc un corps!”, el grito filosófico con el que comienza el capitulo 8 de La imagen-tiempo de Gilles Deleuze, configuraría una serie de modulaciones acerca del cine moderno, del cuerpo, del cerebro y de la memoria,  así como del devenir. La conjetura de este trabajo es que, a través del concepto de “tecnologías del género”, surgido desde el feminismo en los mismos años en que Deleuze publica sus libros sobre cine, comienza una segunda línea donde el cuerpo no sólo es un concepto para la teoría, sino imagen-materia experimental en la práctica fílmica feminista así como en la teoría queer. Entre ambas líneas estaría el concepto de “tecnología de la memoria” (y de la posmemoria).

A categoria analítica conceitual queer, com suas aporias e deslizamentos, oferece uma abertura singular para se pensar diversas questões relativas à produção de sujeitos, ao desafiar essencialismos e autoritarismos que buscam determinar identidades discretas dentro de uma oposição homossexual/heterossexual (SEDGWICK, 2008), podendo funcionar como uma aliança, ao invés de uma categoria identitária fixa (BUTLER, 2018). A presente reflexão tem como ponto de partida questões que emergem no ensaio de justificação e delimitação de um corpus queer. Afinal de contas, o que significa pensar um corpus queer no âmbito da teoria e da crítica literária? O que há de queer em um corpus queer? O que essa categoria abrange, traz à luz e também oculta? O que ela expande e o que ela circunscreve? Estamos falando de um autor queer? De uma narrativa ou personagem queer? De uma temática e/ou de um modo de escrita? O locus do queer está na estética, na hermenêutica, em ambos ou em nenhum? Apontar possíveis soluções ou uma síntese para tais conflitos não é de modo algum meu objetivo, mas sim explorar as contribuições de algumas das autorias dentro do campo teórico, apontando como cada uma delas pode apresentar um insight importante e produtivo para pensar esses questionamentos, assim como contribuir na formação de uma hermenêutica queer.

Margo Glantz es una de las intelectuales más brillantes de nuestro tiempo que, desde el ámbito del humanismo y con sus más de treinta libros publicados y su intensa actividad en Facebook y en Twiter, ha ofrecido un nuevo cariz a la narrativa y ha asentado sólidas bases en el ensayismo.
  Por ser un referente indiscutible de la cultura en lengua española surge Las ficciones heterodoxas de Margo Glantz. Visiones críticas en el que participan investigadores de reconocido prestigio de México, Brasil, Argentina, EE.UU., de países europeos y de no pocas universidades españolas. En estos ensayos se aborda la relación de la escritora con el contexto cultural mexicano y el latinoamericano, así como aproximaciones analíticas que giran en torno al mundo virreinal que la autora ha estudiado con profundidad y ha insertado con maestría en sus ficciones. No faltan referencias a su estilo tan característico, por su fragmentariedad, y a una escritura híbrida que se nutre de referencialidades que van desde lo literario hasta lo pictórico pasando por la música. Se abordan a su vez temas tan propios de nuestra autora como el autobiografismo, analizado desde diversas perspectivas, y el cuerpo. El libro se cierra con las palabras de Margo Glantz y su “Florilegio de sueños, ensueños, oráculos y narcisismos”.
  Las ficciones heterodoxas de Margo Glantz. Visiones críticas pretende que el lector se acerque al lúdico, deslumbrante, sutil, irónico, disidente, heterodoxo, complejo y poliédrico universo glantziano. Esto “es lo más bello de la escritura, la posibilidad de resucitar lo que desaparece”, Margo dixit.

Following Leo Bersani and Lee Edelman, one might say that, by insisting on sexual minorities’ quest for social recognition, Judith Butler’s theory of gender performativity runs the risk of desexualizing sexuality. On the other hand, so-called antisocial queer theory, and Edelman in particular, could be held responsible for depoliticizing queer politics, by depriving its subject of political agency. Aim of this article is to mediate between these two positions in queer theory on the level of a theory of the subject, by means of Teresa de Lauretis’ understanding of the concept of the drive.

This text was presented as a paper for the Internacional Congress Me veo luego existo.  Mujeres que representan, mujeres representadas, which took place in the Faculty of Geography and History of the Universitat de València from November the 5th to the 7th in 2013. The paper discusses the representation of Vera as an object, subject and theoretical paradigm having the theories of Rivière, Mulvey, De Lauretis, Foucault and Butler as a starting point. How is Vera seen by the male character? How is she depicted by herself? On the one hand, she is an artificial woman created  according to the preferences of a man. To him, she is an experiment and an achievement, a possession and an object of pleasure. On the other hand, the imitation of the pieces of Louise Bourgeois by Vera is used for describing herself, her emotions and the conscience of her body and her situation. Therefore, while Doctor Ledgard remains in the surface, in the skin of Vera; she walks in the paths of the introspection, materializing her fears through art, denying to become a sensual sculpture imposed by a sort of castrating Pigmalion.

Este artículo analiza algunas de las 22 prosas poéticas que conforman Para las duras: una fenomenología lesbiana de tatiana de la tierra (Villavicencio, Colombia 1961-Long Beach, California 2012). A la vez que se aproxima a la fenomenología queer que se expresa en los actos performativos del lenguaje y el cuerpo, mi análisis se apoya en los aportes de Sara Ahmen sobre la ética y estética de la desorientación, en los de Judith Butler sobre el falo lesbiano, y en los de Teresa de Lauretis sobre la noción de perversidad.

Este texto trata de hacer compatibles algunas lecturas no esencialistas sobre la subjetividad con la necesidad de políticas situadas, localizadas y comprometidas con experiencias de subordinación y resistencia. En concreto, toma como referencia algunas ideas de Judith Butler sobre los conceptos de performatividad y parodia y otras de Teresa de Lauretis sobre experiencia y sujetos excéntricos.

This article offers a semiotic approach to Sarah Perry's 2016 novel The Essex Serpent. In the light of Teresa de Lauretis's study of interpretants in relation to female subjectivity, it becomes evident that Perry in her protagonist Cora Seaborne reformulates female experience as an active and immanent force in socio-cultural processes of semiotic production. This article analyses this force in terms of de Lauretis's habit-change, which defines subjectivity as a nexus between the norms that produce it and the change on which the very possibility of semiotic production depends. The full development of Perry's protagonist in these terms brings about an awareness about this in-betweenness, which produces a non-binary and non-hierarchical ethical turn beyond rigid categories that define the subject's relationship with the world. This ethical turn, this article demonstrates, is specifically important in that it situates female subjectivity inside history instead of marginalising it in an exclusive or antithetical manner, and that it offers a liberating space for all its participants (including the Victorian male characters).

Este trabajo pretende analizar distintos aspectos de la experiencia de mujeres mexicanas que formaron parte de la organizacion politico-militar denominada Liga Comunista 23 de Septiembreentre 1973 y 1977. El objetivo es explorar si la transgresion que les significo a ellas el asumir el rol de combatientes les permitio adoptar comportamientos que llegaron a desplazar la representacion tradicional de la mujer ycuestionar su propia identidad generica. Desde la critica feminista, y a partir del concepto de tecnologia de genero propuesto por Teresa De Lauretis, el analisis se centra en aspectos como la sexualidad y las tareas establecidas para los varones y las mujeres dentro de la organizacion.

Özet Bu çalışmanın amacı, Teresa De Lauretis'in düşüncesinde queer teorinin kuruluşu bağlamında deneyim ve öznellik meselesini açığa çıkarmaktır. Lauretis'e göre, queer olmak, heteronormatif düzeni, özdeşliği ve kimliği bozmaktır. Var olan normun sınırlarında, kurumların çatlaklarında inşa edilen bir süreçtir. Lauretis'in nasıl queer düşüncenin temellerini kurduğunu açığa çıkarmayı deneyen bu çalışma, öncelikle Lauretis'in cinsel fark düşüncesine yönelik eleştirisine değinir. Lauretis'in düşüncesinin bu eleştiri üzerinden kurulduğuna dikkat çeker. Ardından Lauretis'te queer teorinin temel iki unsuru olarak eksantrik özne ve deneyim meselesine değinir. Kelime anlamı acayip, tuhaf olan eksantrik kavramı dolayımıyla Lauretis bir yandan geleneksel özne anlayışını alt üst eden yeni bir öznellik fikrini kurarken diğer yandan cinsiyetin performatif niteliğine dikkat çeker. Bu nedenle bu çalışma, geleneksel özne kavrayışını alt üst eden, yani queer hale gelen eksantrik özneyi deneyim bağlamında ele alır. Sonuçta, Lauretis'in verili öznellik kipleri karşısında tuhaf kalma olarak "eksantrik" kavramını deneyim nosyonuyla birlikte düşünmesi sayesinde queer siyaseti kuramsallaştırma olanağı yakaladığını gösterir.

Le profonde trasformazioni dell'Higher Education hanno ridisegnato le disuguaglianze di genere. L'università "solida", fondata su un discorso burocratico-professionale, che ancora sopravvive in alcuni contesti nazionali, ha contribuito alla formazione di un individuo neutro-maschile al quale il pensiero femminista ha, da tempo, rivolto le proprie critiche. Oggi che le istituzioni universitarie hanno perso il loro monopolio e sono sempre più sottoposte alle pressioni del mercato, l'affermarsi di politiche managerialiste nella gran parte dei sistemi dell'HE ha alimentato il mito del merito e della competizione, costruendo "immaginari di mercato" anche nel campo dell'education. I numeri non sembrano però confermare tale tesi. Il volume interpreta le trasformazioni dei ruoli di leadership intermedia in due contesti universitari che, per certi versi, ne rappresentano un tentativo di "movimento verso il nuovo" e "il futuro": l'Italia e il Regno Unito.

Isabella Tomasi, la ‘Venerabile Maria Crocifissa della Concezione’ passata alla storia come mistica e visionaria, ha spesso attraversato la letteratura siciliana: già evocata ne Il Gattopardo (1958), sotto il nome di ‘Beata Corbera’, è presente anche nelle riflessioni di Leonardo Sciascia, che ne scrive ne La corda pazza (1970), così come nel romanzo Le pecore e il pastore (2007) di Andrea Camilleri.
Il saggio La santa dei Tomasi (1989), di Sara Cabibbo e Marilena Modica, ne ricostruisce la figura analizzando il rapporto molteplice tra la condizione della donna all’interno delle famiglie nobili siciliane del XVII secolo e la funzionalità della vita conventuale imposta come strumento di perpetrazione del lignaggio. A partire dal saggio, l’intervento esamina il rapporto mutuamente produttivo tra l’analisi storica e il romanzo di Silvana La Spina La creata Antonia (2001), in cui compare una ricostruzione finzionale della figura di Suor Maria Crocifissa, incarnata dal personaggio della monaca Ignazia.
Mentre il saggio osserva la valenza strategica della presenza della santa per la famiglia dei Tomasi, evidenziando come l’ascetismo e l’auto-annullamento erano stati imposti e costruiti ad arte, il romanzo radicalizza la funzione sovversiva della monaca visionaria, affidando alla stessa Ignazia/Suor Crocifissa l’uso del corpo e di una voce ‘propria’, funzionali a una critica del dominio sulle donne. Avvalendosi di alcune riflessioni teoriche sui temi della differenza sessuale e del corpo in relazione alla (ri)costruzione del femminile storico, l’intervento osserva il rapporto tra la figura storica e la re-interpretazione letteraria della donna di fede in quanto figura ‘eccentrica’ proprio perché soggetta alla regolamentazione di un preciso discorso religioso e sociale.

(Open Access) In this chapter I read Monika Fagerholm’s novel Diva (1998) as a contribution to a theoretical conversation. The actual content of such a contribution is less relevant for the purposes of this chapter – the focus is on the purpose and function of placing a work of fiction alongside traditionally theoretical texts and reading them in the same way rather than the results of such a reading. A reading of Diva with Roland Barthes' essay ‘From Work to Text’ from 1971 will illustrate how the novel, through its central themes, becomes part of a discursive node. I also turn to feminist scholar Teresa de Lauretis for an approach to DIVA through feminist theory.

Wenn man Begehren nicht in Subjekt/Objekt-Relationen einsperrt, sondern als sozialmobilisierende Kraft begreift, eröffnen sich Ausblicke auf affektive Dimensionen des Politischen und auf Fantasie als Fabrikation sozialer Wirklichkeiten. Welche politischen Fiktionen werden in neoliberalen Krisenzeiten angetrieben und erwünscht? Und welche begehrenstheoretischen Denktraditionen laufen an aktuellen Schnittstellen des Politischen ineinander?
