• MELTING ITEMS
1. FERRO ALLOYS
The main applications of ferroalloys occur in the steelmaking process. They are
added to steel to improve properties like strength, ductility, and fatigue or
corrosion resistance.

TYPES:
Calcium Silicon
Ferro Silicon
Ferro Manganese
2. SLIDE GATE SET
• The sizing set is one of the key refractory materials for continuous casting of
billet.
• It plays the role of controlling the flow rate of crystallization of molten steel
and stabilizing the casting speed.
• The uniform and stable flow of molten steel through the sizing nozzle into the
crystallizer is necessary to ensure the continuous casting condition.
3. K90

K-90 is used in the preparation of the ladle slide gate plate

4. THERMOCOUPLE Rods

Disposable Expendable Thermocouple is widely used in melting steel industry for

temperature measuring. Fast, accuracy and stable quality are the most important
thing when we produce productions. Thermocouple can be used to measure
temperature from 1600 degree to 1800 degree. And all kinds of types including S,
B, R, D(W) tips are made and assembled all by ourselves, so we could effectively
control producing cost and quality.
5. PYROMETER

Pyrometer are used for temperature monitoring or control of heating or

cooling. For use in harsh conditions, the pyrometers are integrated into heavy-
duty housings, allowing among other things to perform measurements in the
steel industry
• CASTING ITEMS
1. COPPER MOULD TUBES

Copper mold tube is placed in the heart position of continuous casting machine, its
function is to solidify the liquid steel pouring through the submerged entry nozzle, and
guarantees required billet, bloom, and slab with enough thick shell to be obtained.
Copper mold play a crucial role in increasing continuous efficiency as well as improving
steel quality.
2. Brass Nozzle
Brass Nozzle is used to control the direction of fluid
from pipes and tubes. Brass nozzles are generally
used to control the speed, flow, mass and pressure
of air and water which are flowing into the pipes or
tubes. There are different shapes and sizes brass
nozzle that can be used in various industrial
application
3. CASTING POWDER
When the liquid layer flows in the gaps between shell and mold, it helps the
lubrication and reduce the resistance of casting, prevent the incident of sticking
breaking
• ROLLING ITEMS
1. Rolls
In metalworking, rolling is a metal forming process in which metal stock is passed
through one or more pairs of rolls to reduce the thickness and to make the thickness
uniform.
Types of Rolls
1. Roughing
2. Intermediate
3. Finishing
Roughing Rolls
The steel roughing rolling mill stands are used to
reduce the thickness of the steel while at the
same time extending the overall length.
The diameter of rolls is maximum in roughing
process.
Intermediate Rolls
The steel roughing rolling mill stands are used to
reduce the thickness of the steel while at the
same time extending the overall length.
The diameter of rolls is maximum in roughing
process.

Finishing Rolls
During the finishing rolling stage, the stock is
traveling at a high speed between closely spaced
stands and consequently, and does not have
adequate time to normalize.
This lack of normalization can have a significant
effect on the final microstructure and mechanical
properties of the rolled product.
The diameter of rolls is minimum after the
finishing stage.
2. CNC Machine

CNC – Computer Numerical Control – Taking digitized data, a computer and CAM

program is used to control, automate, and monitor the movements of a machine.
The machine can be a milling machine, lathe, router, welder, grinder, laser or
waterjet cutter, sheet metal stamping machine, robot, or many other types
of machines

.
3. Stud Welding Machine

Stud Welding is a process that welds a stud to

another piece of metal. It’s a type of spot welding
which welds a fastener to a piece of metal instantly.
2. Nozzle X
Nozzle X also known as Schieber Sand used for
opening of the ladle slide gate system
3. Motors
A dictionary describes, “a motor is a machine that converts electrical energy to
mechanical energy.

Types of Motor:
1.AC motor
2.DC Motor
AC Motor

An AC motor is an electric motor driven by an

alternating current. The AC motor commonly consists
of two basic parts, an outside stator having coils
supplied with alternating current to produce a
rotating magnetic field, and an inside rotor attached
to the output shaft producing a second rotating
magnetic field. It is mostly used for fluids pumps
that's why it is known as Hydraulic.
DC Motor
In a DC motor, the input electrical energy is the direct current which is
transformed into the mechanical rotation.
Direct-current motors are extensively used in variable-speed drives and
position-control systems where good dynamic response and steady-state
performance are required.
4. Bearings:
Bearings are "parts that assist objects' rotation".
They support the shaft that rotates inside the
machinery. Machines that use bearings include
automobiles, airplanes, electric generators and so
on.
5. Carbon Electrode Paste
Electrode paste is used for the manufacture of
carbon electrodes for electric arc furnaces designed
for a production of various types of ferroalloys,
calcium carbide, etc.
6. Porous Plug
Porous plugs are sintered high alumina ceramics that have controlled porosity to
allow for gas flow. Porous plugs are used in desulphurization of high Sulphur base
iron for ductile iron production and in steel desulphurization
Well Block
The continuous casting ladle Well Block, it is not a Refractories For Tundish but for
ladle. Different with Tundish Nozzle Material for Tundish Nozzle Uses, it's a Steel Ladle
Refractories. Seating blocks are made from high-purity, high-density, high-strength
materials with a matrix-adjusted system (MAS). These products exhibit the features of
stable structure, good corrosion/erosion resistance, excellent thermal shock resistance
and long service life
8. Cardan Shaft

Cardan shaft is a component for transmitting mechanical power and torque and

rotation, usually used to connect other components of a drivetrain that cannot be
connected directly because of distance or the need to allow for relative movement
between them.
9. Lifting Magnet
Lifting magnets are currently essential for the
transport of steel products and iron scrap at steel
mills, shipbuilding yards, and metal recycling plants.
Lifting magnets are capable of hoisting and
transporting the required number of steel sheets in
one operation, thereby significantly improving work
efficiency
10. Mould Body
The mould is the most critical and important functional assembly of the
continuous casting machines. It serves for heat extraction during incrusting
metal crystallization and ingot formation. This assembly determines
efficient CCM operation, its performance and quality of the continuous
ingot obtained. The mould is an assembly consisting of the copper tube or
built-up copper plates’ structure where metal crystallization takes place,
and steel body that clamps the copper working member and has flowing
cooling water clearance for efficient water extraction.
