risks that arise in a supply chain. The purpose of this observe is to determine the risk of failure that happens within a supply
chain. The interview was carried out towards Cahaya Terang community that’s the leather-based commercial enterprise
union of Sukaregang Garut. The end result shows that from 20 risk activities within the supply Chain using the supply
Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) approach, 9 activities are classified as high-risk activities and need special attention,
therefore, the deliver chain procedure within the leather industry might be running well.

The study aims to analysis competitive product design of dodol products based on customer preferences using
conjoint method. It is a quantitative study with survey design by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. The
respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The collected data were analyzed using conjoint analysis
with choice-based and full profile types. The results of the study indicate that respondents consider taste variations as the
main preference in choosing dodol Garut with the value of 24.46% and the packaging gets the lowest value (16.85%).
Based on the results of the conjoint analysis, tourist prefer the original dodol Garut with utility 1.151, with a quote theme
packaging (0,128), large size (0,023), dry texture (0,066), and packaged in plaited bamboo (0,076).

The traditional market in Indonesia still has challenges concerning the waste generated, both organic and inorganic waste. The aim of this study is to analyze the waste management system that is performed in Garut District especially Guntur Traditional Market. The qualitative method was used by conducting a number of in-depth interviews toward stakeholders, namely garbage managers, seller, environmentalist, environmental researchers and local community. The results showed that the types of activities, road conditions, sidewalk conditions, and aesthetics around the Guntur Traditional Market have declined after the expansion of the market and the rampant illegal traders' activity around it. The number of personnel, limited means and infrastructure, education, law enforcement, public participation, research and development, and the participation of important stakeholders that include academics, community, and private sector are important dimensions that must be involved in the improvement of Guntur Traditional Market management.

This study aims to identify students' responses on the issue of management control of lecturing activities in Indonesia through discussion of case studies. The concept of management control becomes the topic of discussion in the focus group discussion (FGD) conducted during the Management Control System course at Garut University. The FGD was conducted for 150 minutes involving 10 students. The participants are from various student organizations and have different experiences in the organization. The FGD focused on the syllabus of Management Control System courses for students in the third level. The results of the FGDs showed that some materials of the Management Control System (MCS) course encouraged the students to have integrity. The materials covered management and control, planning and budgeting, and comprehensive management control. The discussion and recommendation for this course syllabus are elaborated comprehensively.

The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted many industries but has also fuelled their growth. Many startups in Indonesia, in particular, are benefiting from the changing business environment. The purpose of this study is to explore the key factors that Indonesian startup founders need to consider at the early stage to grow in a very dynamic business environment. The netnography method is used to explore the founders' activities in the earlystage period. There are six videos of 6 successful Indonesian startup founders who were observed through the Startup Indonesia YouTube channel. Interviews were conducted by interviewers using unstructured questions with open hypothetical types about the founder's experience in the early-stage period or the first 2-3 years of startup establishment. The data is then analyzed using InfraNodus to identify findings that have the potential to generate new ideas. Network Structure is focused with 0.29 modularity. The type of propagation dynamics is cyclical variability with alpha exponential: 0.56 or medium category. The results show that there are four main topic clusters, including brand management, internet technology, software, and investing. At the same time, the most significant elements consist of product, people, company, and customer. This finding proves that sophisticated technology is not a critical factor in the success of startups in Indonesia, but the quality of products and people. The research implications can be a good reference for prospective startup founders in Indonesia in facing challenging early-stage dynamics.

Mount Guntur is one of the mainstay mountain attractions in Garut Regency. The purpose of this study is to find out the factors that encourage tourists to come to Mount Guntur Garut. This research method is quantitative with descriptive and exploratory types, the survey was conducted by conducting interviews and distributing questionnaires, interviews were conducted to explore the factors that encourage tourists to come to Mount Guntur Garut which was then tested using a quantitative approach, namely exploratory factor analysis (EFA), questionnaires were distributed to 100 respondents using purposive sampling method. The results show that of the 8 tested factors, it is reduced to 3 factors, namely the object and natural tourist attraction factor, the safety factor and challenges and the entry fee factor. The object factor and natural tourist attraction are the most dominant factors because they have the largest eigenvalues with amount 4.371. The implications of this research could be taken into consideration for tourism development by the manager of Mount Guntur tourism in the future.

Mount Guntur Tourism in Garut Regency offers several attractions that involve natural beauty around it. However, not all tourists coming to Garut are interested in visiting the mountain. The aim of the present study is to analyse whether there are different profiles of tourists who are interested and not interested in visiting Mount Guntur and investigates factors affecting the tourists' interest in visiting the destination. To this end, the study applied a survey method through which the questionnaires were distributed to 100 participants, 50 of which were interested, and the other 50 were not. The data were then analysed by using discriminant analysis operated in SPSS 25 software. The results showed that the different profiles of respondents determined based on the interest to visit Mount Guntur could be proven statistically. The factors that make tourists interested or not interested in visiting Mount Guntur are transportation to tourist attractions; scenery; supporting facilities and artificial tourism spots. The results of this study may serve as additional information for tourism managers to improve the marketing strategy of Mount Guntur tourism.

This study aims to analyze customer purchasing decisions on cosmetic products by considering halal labels or product quality where brand image is an intervening variable. This study uses quantitative methods with confirmatory objectives.Questionnaires are distributed using a purposive sampling method for 400 respondents in several villages throughout Indonesia. The results showed that the halal label significantly influenced brand image and purchasing decisions.Product quality affects brand image but has no impact on purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, brand image has a significant influence on purchasing decisions.The research implications show that for rural communities, promotion of halal cosmetics is more useful for driving purchasing decisions compared to the quality of cosmetic products.

Learning strategies in the digitalization era are vastly expanding. Students are comprised of the millennials for whom life cannot be separated from technology and the internet. The ever-expanding technology has posed new challenge on the teaching process of millennials, and one of which is the growing importance and increased involvement of technology that empower a host of new learning tools. One of the most prominent open-access teaching/learning tool is Kahoot! This chapter aims to complement studies about the use of game-based methods at higher education. The survey was conducted for 1 year at a university located in a small city in Indonesia. A total of 415 students were actively involved in measuring their perceptions of games-based learning tools called Kahoot! Furthermore, this study also measured differences in outcomes between faculties, types of subjects, and commonly used research methods. The result shows that Kahoot! positively impacts student academic achievement as measured by student motivation, enjoyment, engagement, and concentration.

Environmental problems, especially waste management, attract young people to be part of the solution. The purpose of this study was to find out about the movement of millennial generation in waste management participation in Garut Regency. World Cleanup Day is a program that is the main object of research. Using a qualitative approach, the survey through observation was carried out for two years and interviews were carried out on a number of competent sources, both from internal and external organizations. The results showed that there are still organizational activities that need to be improved so that this youth organization not only organizes annual activities, but routinely and continuously conduct activities related to the solution to the problem of waste in Indonesia. The implication of the study shows that young people, especially millennials, can become government partners in overcoming social problems.

The Indonesian tourism industry continues to develop and has become the core of the nation economy. Indonesia is known for its wealth of natural beauty, which can be used as a potential for tourism business. Garut is a city in Indonesia known for its beach, mountains, and culinary arts. The purpose of this study is to create a priority map of tourist attractions that can be utilized by local governments. Sentiment analysis was used 413,175 netizen comments via the social media platforms Instagram and Google reviews. Data was collected from January 2018-February 2019. The results show that the number of positive comments is significantly higher than the number of negative comments. Beach tourism a serious priority; not only is it the most preferred tourist attraction, but also the type that gets the most negative comments. While the main problem for Garut Regency tourism is hygiene, garbage is either overlapping or scattered, preventing Garut from having all-around tourism charm instead of being superior only in the sector of natural beauty. The suggestions in this research can be used as proposals for improving and developing tourism to realize a dignified 'Garut Charm'.

Digital SMEs Village is a program initiated by Telekomunikasi Indonesia. The program is expected to grow entrepreneurial spirit among business actors, as well as to facilitate business actors to expand their business network by utilizing technological developments in Indonesia. The common problem of Digital SMEs Village Indonesia today is the number of human resources that still lack the understanding of using smartphones and computers to interact with consumers in cyberspace. One of the Digital SMEs Village in Bandung district is the Baraya Digital SMEs Village. This study aims to identify the formulation strategy in the development of the Baraya Digital SMEs Village by SWOT analysis. Furthermore, Quantitative Strategies Planning Matrix (QSPM) is used to decide and determine which alternative strategies can best be recommended. The research method used is qualitative method with case study approach by doing depth-interview to several key actors in the Baraya Digital SMEs Village. The results showed that the Baraya Digital SMEs Village needs to implement intensive strategy. The development of strategies that need to be implemented as a top priority is market penetration, by expanding the market share of existing products through online marketing.

Car Free Day (CFD) programs are widely adopted in Indonesia with the concept of a free day driving with the aim of reducing motor vehicle pollution. CFD is increasingly in demand by the public because it raises various activities. The purpose of this research is to explore the factors that drive society to come to Car Free Day in Indonesia. This research is a type of qualitative research and explorative. Data was collected for 3 months by observing, interviewing, and distributing questionnaires to 400 respondents. The data was then analyzed using exploratory factor analysis (EFA) with the help of SPSS analysis tools. From 10 factors that produced by interviews with a number of key persons, the results showed that the factors were reduced to five namely culinary factor, refreshing factor, expression factor, family tourism factor and business factor. Judging from the Eigen-value, culinary factor is the most dominant factor in encouraging Indonesian people to come to Car Free Day. The results of this study indicate that car free day in Indonesia, provides more benefits in the form of community happiness, but it does not significantly impact to the improvement of environment as its original purpose.

Many cities in Indonesia try to develop and design effective strategies to create smart cities through innovation and technology. Bandung is one of the local governments in Indonesia which is known as the pioneer of smart city in Indonesia. The Bandung City Government has succeeded in developing innovative solutions to the quality of services in the public sector that are expected to be able to overcome the problems in the Bandung city so as to provide the best service to the societies effectively and efficiently, one of them by launching the application "LAPOR!". This study aims to identify society's acceptance and the factors that influence the implementation of LAPOR! as one of the smart city programs in Bandung City with the UTAUT theory approach. The research method used is a quantitative method, with a survey approach. The sampling technique used in this research is probability sampling with random sampling technique. A total of 400 respondents participated in filling out the questionnaire. Multiple linear regressions are used to test the proposed hypothesis. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that all the hypotheses proposed in this study are proven where Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, facilitating conditions have a significant and positive effect on the LAPOR's behavioral intention.

Lack of students' soft skill development in building interpersonal and intrapersonal relationship is a problem that occurs at Universitas Garut. This study aimed to evaluate students' soft skill development in order to facing the era of globalization. The research method used was qualitative approach with quadruple helix concept and system model. The data were collected by doing observation and interview with the third vice rector for student's affairs. It is equipped with the evaluation result from other data such as academic, government, business and community elements. The result of this research showed that soft skill development at Universitas Garut done by either student affairs lecture or supervising lecture is still low. It is shown by students' good manner that has not improved yet although formally, Universitas Garut has hold several activities related with student's soft skill developments such as student orientation, community service, character building, personality development, table manner and other soft skill developments. Based on interviewed with academic, government, business and community elements, the result showed that students of Universitas Garut have obstacles in verbal communication, analytical skills, independence, critical thinking, self-management, motivation, commitment, logical argumentation, initiative, creativity and discipline. The implication of this study is the need of soft skill development program guidance in order to actualize students with good intrapersonal and interpersonal skills.

Leather small industries in Sukaregang village, Garut city, West Java, have made Indonesia one of the world major leather exporting countries. Its products such as wallets, bags, shoes, jacket, up until the sofa is not only popular in the country but also in foreign countries but most of the consumer is only from Indonesia especially Garut. However, there were limited studies of Indonesian especially Garut leather jacket market analysis. This study is designed to determine the factors influencing Garut college student's purchase intention as one of major consumer toward Garut leather jacket using factor analysis technique. Categorized as fashion apparel, purchase intention of Garut leather jacket is explained with several variables: brand, quality, price, services, organization, family, peer/reference group, consumer socialization , and emotional value. A total of 110 college students in Garut are participated in the survey and categorized as direct-selling consumer. Using factor analysis, the study finds that brand that positively influence by emotional value is the most important factor that influence Garut college students' to purchase Garut leather jacket. The findings provide the basis for further research of Garut leather jacket retailer's strategy to enter not only Garut market but also other cities in Indonesia and probably other countries.

This paper suggests that a combination of Soft System Methodology (SSM) and drama theory approaches are appropriate research methodology to investigate a case of Garut Leather Jacket Factories to achieve direct export. Although the quality of their product is the best in Indonesia, but the factory has many obstacles to do export, one is waste problem. Only seven of 330 companies who apply sewage treatment using waste water treatment plant (WWTP). Community, company, government and green community have different perceptions and interests in response the issue. Today, the small business sector in Garut is too much emphasis on efforts to solve capital problem, business management, and skills with limited efforts in waste management. This perspective is valuable to make all stakeholders aware the important of waste management in small business development. They solve their waste problem, they attract international market and they gain higher profits. The use of SSM from which the Rich Picture Diagram (RPD) was originally derived helped the researcher make sense of the situation under consideration and provided positive, concrete outcomes for this case while drama theory helped in mapping their dilemma to achieve a positive agreement among stakeholder.

Sukaregang, a central of small industry in Garut-West Java, has been well-known as the largest leather producer in Indonesia since 1920. The main products (such as bag, shoes, jacket, etc.) are popular both in domestic market and overseas. Now, there are 330 entrepreneurs in Sukaregang that focus on producing goods from leather. They separate into two segments: (1) main leather product: jacket, footwear, and bag, (2) waste leather product: wallet, belt, hat, key chain, cell phone case, etc. Today, the sale of Garut leather products has been one of the fastest growing markets in Indonesia. This study is focused on Sukaregang leather industry. Through conducted survey method and using Value Net of Co-opetition approach, we combined the concept of Service Science and center of industry. Co-opetition is doing collaboration and competition in the same time to gain win-win solution. The relationships between showrooms, home industries, consumers, leather suppliers in Sukaregang Leather Industry show us that co-opetition among them create value co-creation.

Local wisdom is an important point of concern of Indonesian Ministry of Tourism in realizing sustainable tourism. Garut Regency is one of the regions in Indonesia that makes tourism as a regional superior commodity potential but unfortunately has serious problems, especially in marketing strategies. The purpose of this research is to map the potential of local wisdom that spread in Garut Regency and provide an alternative marketing strategy to sell its superior tourism potential. By using a mix-method approach, the initial data was obtained through interviews with 42 key persons to gather list of local wisdom from 42 sub districts in Garut Regency. Processed data in phase 1 was used as the basis information in creating the questionnaire that then distributed to 500 Garut people to rank the top 10 local wisdoms in Garut Regency. The third phase is the distribution of questionnaires to 400 West Java regional communities both who have come to Garut Regency as Nusantara tourists and who have never visited Garut to give their preference toward combination of local wisdom in Garut Regency. The results of this study are data of potential local wisdom of Garut Regency and alternative marketing strategies based on the preferences of Nusantara tourists. The benefits of this study can also be used as a consideration for the stakeholders of Garut Regency tourism who are part of hexa helix in developing Garut regency tourism and boost number of tourists to visit Garut Regency

considered more important by Muslim consumers when they
make a purchase decision, halal label or product quality?
Wardah cosmetic product was chosen to be the object of the
study; samples were taken from as many as 100 people who have
joined Wardah Cosmetics’ Facebook Fan Page using purposive
sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is path
analysis. Product quality was found as the more affecting factor
for the consumers in purchasing Wardah cosmetic products.
Meanwhile, halal label has not significantly been able to influence
the consumers in their purchase decisions, but it could enhance
Wardah’s brand image as the cosmetic products intended for
Muslim women. Wardah still has to care and maintain the
products quality because it is the driving factor for the
consumers to purchase their cosmetics.

Decision made by the finance companies in solving the bad credit problems is through the withdrawal of vehicles that have been financed, then sell them through the auction system. Truck withdrawal unit is the one with the highest auction frequency. The higher the auction frequency, the lower the vehicle's minimum price will become or the price will drop. The purposes of this study are to determine the best alternative to be carried out by Astra Credit Companies when analyzed using BATNA in open ascending and sealed highest bid auctions, and to know the price range and condition class of the auction unit that allows for an agreement to take place when analyzed using ZOPA. Based on the type, this is a descriptive qualitative research involving longitudinal observations. The data was collected through interviews with the representatives of Astra Credit Companies and the bidders, observations of the auction processes, and analyses of the auction result's documentations study. The results reveal that open auction generates higher sales than the sealed one, but the biggest margin between the minimum price and the selling price takes place in the sealed auction. The amount of the minimum price depends on the condition class and the frequency of the auction events of each unit. The suggestion that can be implemented based on the research results for the companies is that they should provide information on an ongoing basis for the prospective bidders or partnering dealers to increase their participations. The maximum payment is results from the sales of ISUZU NKR71HD WOODEN TRUCK (sealed auction) and NKR71 HDDUMPTRK (open auction).

— The vast development of mobile technologies has led to a competitive environment between the existing providers of telecommunication services in delivering their best offers to create customer values. Among their customers, postpaid subscribers have a distinguished position due to their exclusive characteristics which require special treatments from respective providers. This study aims to identify customer values created by telecommunications services provider, particularly for postpaid subscribers. A descriptive and causal analysis with further examination using Structural Equation Modeling is taken as the research methodology. There are 650 postpaid subscribers of 3 major telecommunications service providers in Indonesia, i.e. Telkomsel, Indosat and XL Axiata, asked to be the respondents. The results indicate that to create customer values particularly for postpaid mobile customers, companies should prioritize the development and performance improvement of customers' relationship management, a deeper integration of customer characteristics, and an improved marketing mix. Looking at these results, this study offers a strategic step for telecommunication service providers in improving customer values as a means to increase customer loyalty to their services.

– As has been widely known, tax is still the main source to meet financing need of urban and rural development in developing countries. This fact has made tax compliance rate serves as an important measure that can be used to predict the continuation of the ongoing development projects. Hence, achieving full compliance rate has become major concern of Indonesian Government especially to support development of rural area such as Cisewu Village that is located on Garut Regency Indonesia. However, in contrast to urban citizen, the attitude of most taxpayers in rural area are presumed to show lower compliance due to several factors such as level of knowledge. In response to that phenomenon, this research aims to obtain knowledge regarding the effect of taxpayers' attitude toward the effectiveness of land and building tax implementation on Cisewu Village of Garut Regency. Quantitative data is acquired by using survey that involve 96 respondents that are selected by using simple random sampling. This study also employ qualitative data by means of interview and soliciting relevant documents. The findings shows that there is significant impact of taxpayer's attitude toward the effectiveness of land and building tax implementation. Surprisingly, the attitude of taxpayers on Cisewu Village of Garut Regency found to be favorable. The same result is also found for the effectiveness of land and building tax implementation. Opportunity for future studies are also being discussed in response to that findings.

Paper ini membahas mengenai bagaimana nilai sebuah UKM bisa ditingkatkan dengan melakukan kreativitas kolaboratif antara UKM dan pelanggannya sehingga memungkinkan terjadinya inovasi yang memuaskan pelanggannya. Zocha Graha Kriya adalah salah satu UKM yang bergerak di bidang kerajinan, seni, dan pariwisata yang terbentuk dari beberapa pengrajin, seniman, petani, dan penggiat pariwisata di Kabupaten Garut. Saat ini, Zocha ingin mengembangkan produk kerajinan yang tidak hanya mampu memberi suatu nilai yang dapat dinikmati indera, tetapi juga mampu memberikan prestise tersendiri bagi para konsumen yang memilikinya. Untuk mencapai tujuannya itu, Zocha membutuhkan kajian value co-creation mengenai usahanya saat ini sehingga bisa melakukan perencanaan bisnis yang lebih baik ke depannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji value co-creation Zocha dengan menggunakan model DART (Diallogue, Access, Risk Assessment dan Transparancy). Metode Kualitatif dengan hasil deskriptif dipilih dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini juga bersifat longitudinal dilihat dari waktu pelaksanaannya. Wawancara mendalam dengan metode snowball sampling dilakukan terhadap 12 nara sumber yang berasal dari internal perusahaan (owner dan kepala-kepala divisi) maupun eksternal perusahaan (UKM potensial lain di Kabupaten Garut, Plasma Zocha, Pelanggan Individu, Pemerintah dan Pelanggan Perusahaan). Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa dari segi Diallogue, Risk Assessment dan Transparancy, Zocha sudah melakukan dengan baik. Namun Zocha masih memiliki kekurangan yaitu pasifnya akses yang menghubungkan Zocha dengan pelanggan, pemasok maupun dengan mitra UKM potensial di Kabupaten Garut.

Kursus bahasa Inggris merupakan salah satu kegiatan populer sejak tahun 1980 an di Indonesia tidak terkecuali di kota Garut. Merdeka College ICB merupakan lembaga pendidikan bahasa Inggris pertama di kota Garut. Didirikan sejak tahun 1986, ICB menjadi ikon yang sangat populer saat itu, hampir semua peminat kursus bahasa Inggris se kabupaten Garut berbondong-bondong kesana. Rata-rata siswa ajarnya mencapai 500 orang per semester, jumlah yang cukup fantastis saat itu jika dibandingkan dengan kapasitas gedungnya. Bisnis keluarga yang dirintis oleh pendirinya bapak Adang Kurnia ini terus mengalami kemajuan pesat, selain kursus bahasa Inggris, ICB merambah ke jenis kursus lain seperti elektro, otomotif, kesekretariatan, mengetik, dan komputer. Namun seiring perkembangan jaman, persaingan di bidang kursus tidak dapat dihindari, terlebih setelah munculnya bimbingan belajar untuk para pelajar, kurang lebihnya menyedot sebagian besar pasar potensial kursus dan juga diantara kursus bahasa sendiri. Di tahun 2000an bisnis kursus bahasa Inggris sudah hampir diambang kebangkrutan, peminatnya tinggal 10% dari semula, bidang kursus lainnya seperti mengetik, elektro dan otomotif selesai karena tidak ada peminat. Bukan hanya itu pegawai dan guru-guru pun hampir tinggal 5 %dari jumlah semula. ICB kemudian mencoba bangkit dengan mengambil jenis usaha lain di bidang pendidikan. Melihat potensi wisata dan hotel di kabupaten Garut yang cukup diminati para wisatawan, Pak Adang, akhirnya membuka sekolah perhotelan 1 tahun di akhir tahun 2000. Peminatnya memang tidak banyak, tetapi dapat melanjutkan usaha bidang pendidikan yang dicintainya. Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana value co-creation dari bisnis kursus bahasa Inggris, dan melihat kompetisi serta kolaborasinya dengan value net. Dalam value net digambarkan co-opetition, dimana ICB sebagai pusat model, kursus dan lembaga pendidikan sebagai pesaing, Diknas, Disnaker, Hotel sebagai komplementor. Siswa, mahasiswa dan masyarakat umum digambarkan sebagai pelanggan. Suppliernya terdiri dari pengajar, dan universitas.

The family business has an important role in contributing to the economy and employment in a country. However, research related to gender issues in the family business ownership and management is still limited. This study aims to explore and present the latest trends in the entrepreneurial sector, especially the characteristics differences of gender-based in family business. This paper presents a comparative analysis based on the gender characteristics in the management of the family business. This study used qualitative descriptive method with case study approach. A qualitative method was used to explore the conditions that occur through depth interviews with some family businesses in Indonesia. A total of 10 respondents participated in this study. This study is expected in an effort to open access to gender equality in various fields, especially for women in the management of the family business. This finding is trying to fill the gaps related to gender issues on family business, entrepreneurship, and management in general.

Traditional marketplaces are currently declining in numbers and state. Plenty of traditional marketplaces, particularly in Bandung area of Indonesia are closing or on the verge of bankruptcy due to poor management and diminishing numbers of visitors to the marketplaces. This study aims to address and lists all of the remaining traditional markets in Bandung, Indonesia along with the report of its current conditions. This study has managed to record and mapped 40 (forty) traditional marketplaces in Bandung, Indonesia. Documentation to most of the remaining traditional marketplaces on its current state are also being performed. The findings suggested that although the numbers of traditional marketplaces in Bandung, Indonesia are still plenty, with population vs. traditional marketplaces ratio of 60.000:1, with its current shape and order, the number of traditional marketplaces is prone to reduction and extinction in the future. Traditional marketplaces as one of the local culture and heritage identity of an area should be preserved. This study is among one of the pioneer studies to list and locate traditional marketplaces in Indonesia, particularly in Bandung area. In parallel with this study, the authors also have started to conduct analysis to identify the factors that affect the traditional marketplaces decay. It is expected that these research findings will be useful for the stakeholders to monitor and take precautionary or active actions to save traditional marketplaces in Bandung, Indonesia.

The city government of Bandung has made serious efforts in solving the urban problems creatively through the utilization of ICT, known as Smart City. One of the smart government programs being implemented is the online public aspirations and complaints service through an application system called LAPOR. So far, the application is considered effective enough to engage public participation, eventhough there are also many contradictory and negative comments shared by the users. Therefore, it is important to find out the actual description of public acceptances for the LAPOR system.
The affecting factors of interest and behavior in using the system were identified by the model of UTAUT 2 developed by Venkatesh et al. In 2012. The data in this study was collected using questionnaires distributed to 405 respondents of those who live in Bandung city, either the users of LAPOR application or those who have not used it yet. The results showed that the most influential factor of interest in using the LAPOR system is Price Value. This indicates that public wants the proportional benefits of the costs incurred for using the system.Other influential factors are Hedonic Motivation, Social Influence, Habit, and Facilitating Condition. Hence, these findings will enable practitioners to gain information in improving the successful implementation of technology-based governance programs.

Utilization of ICT is one of the efforts made by the City Government of Bandung in overcoming the urban problems. It is well-known as the concept of Smart City. There are many smart government programs which have been implemented in Bandung, one of them is the Assessment Information System Service of Bandung Juara or known as SIP Bdg Juara. But the expectations and achievements obtained by the presence of SIP Bdg Juara are relatively low since there are still several factors considered by the citizens of Bandung in order to adopt the application of SIP Bdg Juara. Furthermore, not all of the citizens have thoroughly understood the system. Hence, it is important to find out the acceptance of this website. This research uses modified UTAUT 2 model which was taken from the UTAUT 2 Theory by Venkatesh et al. (2012) consisting of seven main variables; Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Facillitating Conditions, Hedonic Motivation, Price value, and Habit. Besides, two moderating variables of Age and Gender were also involved. This research then used SEM-PLS method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. For the data collection, questionnaires were distributed to 400 respondents with the criteria of residents living in the city of Bandung, whether they have or have not yet participated in SIP Bdg Juara website. Finally, this study found out that the most influencing factor of interest in using SIP Bdg Juara website is Price value, followed by Hedonic Motivation, then Habit, in which all of those three factors have positive influence in both types of latent variables. While the variables affecting Use Behavior related to the use of SIP Bdg Juara wesite are Habit and Behavioral Intention. Therefore, these findings are expected to enable practitioners gain more information in improving the successful implementation of ICT-based governance programs.

This study presents the conflict in bankruptcy case of PT TX, the biggest cellular telecommunication operator in Indonesia. GMCR method is used for describing conflict condition in bankruptcy until equilibrium solution is obtained. There are three conflict situations (frames). Every player has desires formulated as options. All options are combined to generate scenarios. The scenarios are sorted by player's preferences, then stability analysis is done by using solution concept. The result shows 1 (one) scenario in frame I, 9 (nine) scenarios in frame II, and 6 (six) scenarios in frame III are feasible. Equilibrium solution scenarios for conlict are obtained which are scenario 3 for frame I, scenario 13 for frame II, and scenario 2 for frame III. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengangkat konflik pada kasus pailit PT TX, operator telekomunikasi seluler terbesar di Indonesia. Metode GMCR digunakan untuk menggambarkan kondisi konflik hingga didapatkan solusi yang ekuilibrium. Situasi konflik (frame) terbagi menjadi tiga frame. Setiap pemain memiliki keinginan yang kemudian dirumuskan sebagai opsi. Keseluruhan opsi dikombinasikan sehingga menghasilkan skenario-skenario. Lalu skenario diurutkan sesuai preferensi pemain, dan kemudian dilakukan analisis stabilitas dengan konsep solusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 1 (satu) skenario pada frame I, 9 (sembilan) skenario pada frame II, dan 6 (enam) skenario pada frame III yang feasible. Dihasilkan skenario solusi yang ekuilibrium untuk konflik, yaitu skenario 3 untuk frame I, skenario 13 untuk frame II, dan skenario 2 untuk frame III. PENDAHULUAN ** Dalam kegiatan bisnis tidak dapat terlepas dari aktivitas kerjasama yang dilakukan oleh dua atau lebih pelaku bisnis. Kerjasama pada hakekatnya mengindikasikan adanya dua pihak atau lebih yang berinteraksi secara dinamis untuk mencapai suatu tujuan bersama (Pamudji, 1985:12-13). Pada 1 Juni 2011 PT TX menandatangani perjanjian kerjasama dengan PJI atas pendistribusian kartu perdana dan voucher isi ulang Kartu Prima. Dalam perjanjian kerjasama yang berlaku selama dua tahun tersebut PJI wajib menjual 120 juta voucher isi ulang setiap tahun dan 10 juta kartu perdana prabayar dalam masa dua tahun, atau rata-rata 833.333 kartu per bulan. Selain itu, PJI juga diwajibkan membentuk Komunitas Prima, beranggotakan 10 juta orang yang berbasis penggemar olahraga, dalam waktu setahun. PT TX sendiri diakui mau bekerja sama karena ada keprihatinan untuk membantu para atlet di Yayasan Olahragawan Indonesia (YOI), di mana Dirut PJI, Tonny Djayalaksana, kebetulan duduk sebagai Dewan Pembina itu. The source of data for this study was obtained from A. C. Nielsen, using Arianna software. It is consisted TV advertisement data every day for one month (March 2010). The factors which are evaluated are television rating, rate, program, time (day and hour), and category of a brand/product. This research covers 10 national TV stations in Indonesia, which are RCTI, SCTV, Trans TV, Trans 7, Global TV, ANTV, TPI (MNC), Metro TV, Indosiar and TV One.
Finding in this research include that in some of television station, advertiser did not always considered advertisement cost, or the timing of advertisement. Some advertisers tend to consider other aspects such as rating and the number of viewer, not only about the television rate. But still, a television program that has high rating not always attract more ads.

— Entrepreneurship has been recognized as a significant driver of national economic development. It is necessary to enhance the development of a productive and competitive entrepreneurship. In particular, information and communication technologies have emerged as valuable business tools for entrepreneurs from various countries. Practically, entrepreneurship-focused technologies have been utilizing scientific knowledge and technology to fulfill market needs. This research is aimed towards providing a framework for the development of entrepreneurship based on ICT with a particular focus on Indonesia as a developing country by exploring business incubation processes within a techno park in the country. The research is conducted by applying a qualitative method. The data are gathered through in-depth interviews based on a purposive sampling by including actors who have been involved in business incubations taken in a techno park in Indonesia. The results show that the Techno Park may have generally had limitations, including its process, tools, a low efficiency and a lack of financial autonomy. Still, the incubation process has been proven to have a role in increasing the work performance of tenants, market expansion, and improving accessibility to funding sources. This research offers theoretical and empirical implications towards the development of business incubation processes in entrepreneurship promotion activity, in which there is a need to involve quadruple-helix actors, i.e. academic, business, government and community.

One attempt to address problems in major cities was by implementing the concept of Smart City through the utilizations of information and communication technology, such as Machine-to-Machine (M2M) solutions. This study aims to look at what Ridwan Kamil's version of M2M programs look like and provide advices on what have been implemented as well as recommend other possibilities to be implemented in the city of Bandung. The method in this research is qualitative descriptive using data from twitter @ridwankamil during the period from 16 September 2013 until 31 July 2015. The results of this study show that there were 117 issues complained to Ridwan Kamil via twitter with 606 tweets in which Smart Environment is found to have the biggest number of popular issues (8 issues), but the issue of Smart Transportation has the highest number of tweets (176 tweets). Bandung has produced 329 applications and will continue growing to be used in all administrative offices both for public services and the internal performance improvements. The results of this study are expected to be an input for Ridwan Kamil in solving the problems being complained by many netizens via twitter by implementing effective and target oriented M2M solutions according to the needs and priorities of the residents of Bandung city in particular and Bandung lovers generally.

The development of telecommunications and information technology (IT) has been increasing rapidly, so that technology makes distance no longer a problem in communication, and the Internet becomes one of the media. This development facilitates the dissemination of information. This study aims to describe the pattern of interactions that occur in the network of Ridwan Kamil's Twitter, to identify actors having a role in supporting Ridwan Kamil's work program, and to describe the profile of influential actors. The data were collected by using online data obtained from the interaction between Ridwan Kamil with the community during the period of July 16th, 2013-July 31st, 2015 by limiting the data retrieval using keywords related to Smart City in the form of tweets, reply and retweet, and then calculating the value and ranking of Degree centrality, closeness centrality, betweenness centrality and eigenvector centrality. The data then processed using Social Network Analysis approach. Gephi is the software used to compute and visualize the data. The Results show that Ridwan Kamil's Twitter contained 1,886 nodes (account) that are involved with 2,814 edges (interaction) that occur in the network. It is concluded that the actor (node) who influences most of the network is dominated by infobdg, DiskominfoBdg, relawan_bdg, Click Bandung, bdg_juara, infobandung, and Pemkot Bandung.

The main purpose of this paper is to model the conflict between street vendors (PKL) of Bandung with several parties, namely the Government of Bandung (Pemkot), and Thugs. The Graph Model for Conflict Resolution (GMCR) is used to create an understanding of the position of PKL conflict in a strategy.
The conflict occurred in connection with the implementation of K3 (Nicety, Cleanliness, Beauty) and the enforcement area 7-point-free street vendors. Graph-based mathematical modeling approach was chosen because it is considered appropriate to explain why the efforts that have made by government to curb street vendors have not been able to show the maximum results. Assuming that all parties in the conflict think rationally and use the two concepts of Nash and sequential stabilities, the results of this modeling show that current conditions are not the most stable condition that can be accepted by all parties. The government as a regulator should be able to bring all the parties involved to think with another frame that is more stable than current conditions to create win-win urban business collaboration.

Analyzing service science to revealed embedded theory, this paper suggests a value net approach to the use of co-opetition situation in management conflict. A case of Trans Metro Bandung (TMB) conflict is analyzed from this perspective. TMB is a public transportation mode that is built as an alternative solution to Bandung traffic jam.  Unfortunately, TMB become a source of conflict especially with the existing public transportation companies. This paper seeks to utilize TMB’s concepts of service science to explore how value co-creation occurs in the context of co-opetition of public transport service provider in Bandung. This study is a single case study with a focus on the Bandung Agency of Transportation (Dishub Bandung) as TMB’s provider perspective. The findings enrich under-standing of value co-creation by showing that organization should take comprehensive view if they want to minimize conflict and to have same platforms in embracing co-creation.

Brand extension strategy emerged as an alternative strategy that must be understood along with the increasing number of companies that use it as the main strategy in marketing new products. This research is intended to explore the factors influencing the success of brand extension, where the success of brand extension strategy is measured from consumer attitudes toward the expanded brand. The study was conducted in Indofood's fast moving consumer goods. The result shows that the model built has score of RMSEA 0.019 and GFI 0.906 as the criteria of conformity. The overall test shows that the perceived quality, advertising, similarity, and corporate image significantly affects the success of the brand extension strategy. While testing individually, only corporate image variable that do not significantly affect the success of brand extension.

This study aims to discover what has been done by BPPT Bandung in making the implementation of licensing services through Hay.U Bandung to be effective. The factors used to analyze it is PIECES consisting of performance, information, efficiency, control, economy, and service. Using a qualitative approach, interviews with a number of stakeholders were conducted to get a comprehensive overview of the application which presently becomes the mainstay of Bandung city government. The results of this study reveal that Hay.U can overall support the performance of users and employees. In addition, Hay. U is also able to improve the accuracy of information which can make online licensing system in Bandung effective. However, the Integrated Licensing Service Agency (BPPT) needs to consider the convenience factor for the users when inputting data. Users still have problems with the new technology and the amount of data needing to be attached.

Kursus bahasa Inggris merupakan salah satu kegiatan populer sejak tahun 1980 an di Indonesia tidak terkecuali di kota Garut. Merdeka College ICB merupakan lembaga pendidikan bahasa Inggris pertama di kota Garut. Didirikan sejak tahun 1986, ICB menjadi ikon yang sangat populer saat itu, hampir semua peminat kursus bahasa Inggris se kabupaten Garut berbondong-bondong kesana. Rata-rata siswa ajarnya mencapai 500 orang per semester, jumlah yang cukup fantastis saat itu jika dibandingkan dengan kapasitas gedungnya. Bisnis keluarga yang dirintis oleh pendirinya bapak Adang Kurnia ini terus mengalami kemajuan pesat, selain kursus bahasa Inggris, ICB merambah ke jenis kursus lain seperti elektro, otomotif, kesekretariatan, mengetik, dan komputer. Namun seiring perkembangan jaman, persaingan di bidang kursus tidak dapat dihindari, terlebih setelah munculnya bimbingan belajar untuk para pelajar, kurang lebihnya menyedot sebagian besar pasar potensial kursus dan juga diantara kursus bahasa sendiri. Di tahun 2000an bisnis kursus bahasa Inggris sudah hampir diambang kebangkrutan, peminatnya tinggal 10% dari semula, bidang kursus lainnya seperti mengetik, elektro dan otomotif selesai karena tidak ada peminat. Bukan hanya itu pegawai dan guru-guru pun hampir tinggal 5 %dari jumlah semula. ICB kemudian mencoba bangkit dengan mengambil jenis usaha lain di bidang pendidikan. Melihat potensi wisata dan hotel di kabupaten Garut yang cukup diminati para wisatawan, Pak Adang, akhirnya membuka sekolah perhotelan 1 tahun di akhir tahun 2000. Peminatnya memang tidak banyak, tetapi dapat melanjutkan usaha bidang pendidikan yang dicintainya. Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana value co-creation dari bisnis  kursus bahasa Inggris, dan melihat kompetisi serta kolaborasinya dengan value net. Dalam value net digambarkan co-opetition, dimana ICB sebagai pusat model, kursus dan lembaga pendidikan sebagai pesaing, Diknas, Disnaker, Hotel sebagai komplementor. Siswa, mahasiswa dan masyarakat umum digambarkan sebagai pelanggan. Suppliernya terdiri dari pengajar, dan universitas. Dengan teknik wawancara terhadap pemilik, mantan pengajar, pengajar, mantan karyawan, karyawan, siswa ajar, mantan siswa ajar, dan pihak-pihak pemerintah yang pernah tahu kejayaan ICB riset ini menghasilkan data yang kaya bagaimana bisnis kursus bahan Inggris ini dimulai, berkembang, jaya dan layu.  Berubahnya co-opetition dalam value net menandakan pentingnya inovasi dan menjaga hubungan baik dengan para stakeholder dalam bisnis keluarga.

The importance of business incubators to support the growth of new business venture cannot be overemphasized especially in developing country such as Indonesia. This study aims to provide depiction of the application of open innovation on business incubation process. It is conducted by presenting a case of Bandung Techno Park (BTP) as one of the first business incubator in Indonesia that positioned itself as incubator for ICT-based businesses.
The functioning of BTP is depicted by using Business Model Canvas (BMC). The data were collected through a series of in-depth interviews. Informants were recruited based on how strategic the position held by informants in the organisation. The data produced were further validated by providing informants with opportunities to verify the result of the interviews.
In the case of BTP, the existence of business incubation process must be supported by its adjacent businesses and relied heavily on the ecosystem under which its operated. Hence, the level of stakeholders’ involvement can be considered as the primary factor of incubation process’ effectiveness. Based on these findings, this paper proposed an improvement to BMC 3.0 to better visualize the role of open innovation in the way values are created, distributed, and captured.
This study tries to identify how might open innovation being applied in business incubation process. Improvement on the visualization of BMC 3.0 and formation of hypotheses to test the nature of its relationships also being provided. Objective: The Objective of this study is to know the price range and condition class of the auction unit that allows for an agreement to take place when analyzed using ZOPA in open ascending and sealed highest bid auctions.
Method:Based on the type, this is a descriptive qualitative research involving longitudinal observations. The data was collected through interviews with the representatives of Astra Credit Companies and the bidders, observations of the auction processes, and analyses of the auction result’s documentations study.
Findings: The results reveal that open auction generates higher sales than the closed one, but the biggest margin between the minimum price and the selling price takes place in closed auction. The amount of the minimum price depends on the condition class and the frequency of the auction events of each unit
Conclusion and Suggestion The ACC should provide information on an ongoing basis for the prospective bidders or partnering dealers to increase their participations. The maximum payment is resulted from the sales of ISUZU NKR71HD WOODEN TRUCK (Sealed Highest Bid Auction) and NKR71 HDDUMPTRK (Open Ascending Auction).

Entrepreneurship has been recognized as a significant driver of national economic development. It is necessary to enhance the development of a productive and competitive entrepreneurship. In particular, information and communication technologies have emerged as valuable business tools for entrepreneurs from various countries. Practically, entrepreneurship-focused technologies have been utilizing scientific knowledge and technology to fulfill market needs. This research is aimed towards providing a framework for the development of entrepreneurship based on ICT with a particular focus on Indonesia as a developing country by exploring business incubation processes within a techno park in the country. The research is conducted by applying a qualitative method. The data are gathered through in-depth interviews based on a purposive sampling by including actors who have been involved in business incubations taken in a techno park in Indonesia. The results show that the Techno Park may have generally had limitations, including its process, tools, a low efficiency and a lack of financial autonomy. Still, the incubation process has been proven to have a role in increasing the work performance of tenants, market expansion, and improving accessibility to funding sources. This research offers theoretical and empirical implications towards the development of business incubation processes in entrepreneurship promotion activity, in which there is a need to involve quadruple-helix actors, i.e. academic, business, government and community.

An increase in complexity of current communication needs makes humans require more sophisticated communication tools than before. Through a high need for gadgets, many electronics centers emerge in many major cities in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to identify the profile of consumers in the largest electronic shopping center in Bandung, namely BEC. The profile was seen only on consumer attitudes towards communication devices, smartphones and Tablet PCs which are claimed to be the best-selling at BEC. A total of 805 respondents involved in completing the questionnaire during the period of 4 months using purposive sampling method. Measurement of consumer attitudes is referred to the formula developed by Fishbein. The result was that consumer attitudes (Ao) of smart-phone users with iOS in term of product attributes were better when compared with consumer attitudes (Ao) of smart-phone users with BlackBerry and Android operating system. In addition, consumer attitudes of iPad users were better than the iPad Mini users. This research is useful as it provides information for the sellers of smart-phones and tablet PCs at BEC in particular on how consumers rate the products they sell and that eventually the sellers can formulate a more effective marketing strategy.

Jumlah pengguna smartphone di Indonesia meningkat lebih tiga kali lipat, dari 6% menjadi 22% selama periode Tahun 2011-2012 dan diperkirakan akan meningkat hingga 6.5 kali lipat pada Tahun 2016. Diantara beberapa sistem operasi yang dikenal, terdapat dua pengembang yang bersaing ketat di pasar Indonesian, yaitu Research in Motion (RIM) (BlackBerry smartphone) dan Android (Samsung smartphone). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan atribut utama yang digunakan konsumen, perilaku konsumen terhadap atribut tersebut, dan faktor apa saja yang paling dominan mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian oleh konsumen yang menggunakan dua sistem operasi tersebut, RIM (BlackBerry) and Android (Samsung).analisis yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini menggunakan multiatribut Fishbein, Attitude Toward to Model Object Model dan Theory of reasoned Action. Kuesioner disebarkan kepada 172 responden. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa atribut paling utama yang dijadikan pertimbangan oleh konsumen untuk membeli smartphone Blackberry adalah atribut gaya hidup dengan nilai 1.55 sedangkan atribut utama untuk Android terbagi dua antara iklan dan produk dengan nilai 1.12. Reaksi responden terhadap kedua produk sangat baik, meski demikian ternyata lebih banyak responden yang menyukai smartphone Blackberry dibandingkan Android. Hal ini ditunjukkan melalui nilai Ao Blackberry sebesar 7.07, sementara nilai Ao Android hanya 4.44. Sedangkan faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen terhadap Blackberry dan Android adalah teman. The COVID-19 pandemic has weakened the creative industry in Indonesia for some time. PT KRIYA took strategic steps so that the creative industry business could move forward in the face of the postpandemic era. Kriya product creation is PT KRIYA's idea to be able to rise and help SMEs with other products. This study aims to determine the strategic policies that need to be carried out by PT KRIYA to implement Kriya product creation. Several methods are used in the series to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Value co-creation is the primary method used to produce Kriya product creation. Player analysis, environmental analysis, strategy analysis, and analysis of alternative strategies are carried out so that rare movements of the KPI are produced. The research implications are expected to be used as material for strategic considerations by PT KRIYA in particular and become a solution for the typical handicraft industry of Garut Regency in general.

Background: Tourism in Indonesia faces new normal challenges as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Tourism managers are expected to be able to present innovations to revive the tourism sector and the creative economy in Indonesia. Garut Regency is known for its mountain variations. In responding to technological developments, efforts to bring virtual tourism through virtual reality are considered a feasible solution to do. The goal of this research is to learn more about visitor preferences for tourism sites that may be converted into 360 virtual tours on each of Garut Regency's prominent mountains. Materials and Methods: This study uses a mixed-method approach. A qualitative approach is carried out to produce factors which are then tested through distributing questionnaires. This study included 20 surveyors and 400 visitors who enjoy Mount Garut tourism and expressed their choices for a variety of attractions in six prominent Garut mountains. There are 7 factors which are then tested. The data is then processed by conjoint analysis with traditional methods. Results: The results of the conjoint analysis revealed mountain tourists' preferences for different locations within the context of mountain tourism. The order of tourist preferences in the virtual tour of Mount Garut, among others: sunrise, panorama, hiking trails, mountain water sound, mountain breezes, the silence of the night and local wildlife noises. Conclusion: The preference approach in designing mountain tourism innovations is very helpful for tourism managers in considering the types of attractions that can be offered using virtual reality technology.
