Vitamin D is essential for the body to regulate calcium and phosphate levels and mineralization of bone. It is synthesized in the skin after ultraviolet radiation exposure or obtained in the diet to a less extent. Vitamin D deficiency is attracting attention due to higher prevalence in different populations. Physicians of Bangladesh are supposed to be vulnerable to low Vitamin D levels owing to long indoor work hours in both government and private settings. The study was conducted to evaluate Vitamin D status among physicians working in a tertiary level public hospital of Bangladesh. The cross sectional descriptive study was carried out at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital during the period of January 2018 to June 2018. Data were collected from purposively selected 102 doctors of different levels using a case record form. Interview, measurements and laboratory investigations were done accordingly. Vitamin D levels were categorized as deficient (<20.00ng/L), Insufficient (20.00-29.00ng/L), Sufficient (30.00-100.00ng/L) and Potential Toxicity (>100.00ng/L). Among 102 doctors 79(77.5%) were male and 23(22.5%) were female. Maximum (60.8%) were in the age group of 31 years to 50 years. Mean±SD age of the subjects was 49.9±3.61years. Vitamin D deficiency was found in 19(18.6%) subjects and insufficiency was in 49(48.0%) of the subjects. On the other hand 34(33.3%) subjects had sufficient Vitamin D levels. Potential Vitamin D toxicity was not found in any of the subjects. Vitamin D deficiency was found more in female (30.4%) than male (15.2%) but insufficiency was found more in male (50.6%) than female (39.1%). The study revealed that 66.6% physicians had either deficiency or insufficiency of Vitamin D. Exposure to sunlight, dietary intake and Vitamin D supplementation should be considered to increase the status of Vitamin D levels in Physicians of Bangladesh.

COVID-19, lockdown, financial problem, environmental health problems The ongoing COVID-19 epidemic has resulted in new dimensions in the efficacy of the economic and environmental while this virus impacts in human life to create problems in human life. The main objective of this study is to analyze the positive and negative impact on the human and environmental situation of COVID-19 in the world. many research works were done on individual issues for one state of a country but not all state or country data are not available in any sources of the world. To accomplish this goal, preliminary analysis, review articles and reviews released over the past five years have been analyzed with various research data such as NCBI, EMBASE, Google Scholar, PubMed/MEDLINE and MDPI from related clinical trials and animal studies with English terms search: COVID-19, lockdown, financial problem, environmental health problems. The COVID-19 was declination of the GDP, remittance, market policy, private sector credit, tourist industry, employment status, health emergency, shock in education, restrictions in recreation and created pollution like as water, microplastic pollution. The positive effect of covid-19 was the reduction in air and noise pollution, regeneration of biodiversity, and established digital transformation in the world. However, this virus delimited financial sectors have also donated towards a good environment. If COVID-19 and lockdown are released, environmental pollution will increase more in the world. As a result, this research recommends that the policy makers must promote in the financial sector without Khan, et.al, 2022 Azerbaijan Medical Journal 4182 disturbing the environmental elements or create a new fund to help the environmental organizations.

The second largest and most well-known insect order Lepidoptera includes both butterflies and moths in the world. This study was started based on secondary information from present literature from different countries on the flora and fauna. So far, much study work was completed on this subject but those workers were not existing to the extension employees, policymakers, and the public in an efficient way to date. In this review paper, we can give the recent data on etymology, distribution and diversity, external morphology, different morphological parts of caterpillar, internal morphology, digestive system, circulatory system, reproduction and growth, respiratory system, and growth and role of the olfactive process in larval and adult lepidopteran insects. There are over one hundred and eighty thousand Lepidoptera species described, divided into one hundred and twenty-six families and forty-six superfamilies, and the total number of living beings was labeled as about ten percent. Pea (Pisum sativum L.) is the most important grain legume crop grown worldwide and used as food and fodder. An experiment was undertaken to elucidate the genetic variability in five inbred parents and their 17 F4’s derivatives in pea evaluating ten characters during the winter season of 2017-2018 at the research farm, BSMRAU, Gazipur, Bangladesh. Analysis of variance explored significant differences among the genotypes for all the characters. Phenotypic coefficients of variation were close to genotypic coefficients of variation for all the characters indicating less influence on the environment and potentiality of selection. High heritability associated with high genetic advance was observed for plant height, pod per plant, hundred seed weight, and seed yield per plot. Days to 50% flowering and days to first flowering showed a highly significant positive correlation at both genotypic and phenotypic levels. Plant height showed a highly significant positive correlation with pods per p...

Pod length showed a highly significant positive correlation with pod width and hundred seeds weight. Pods per plant, pod width, and seeds per pod showed a highly positive correlation with seed yield per plant and 100-seed weight. Only days to first flowering showed a highly negative correlation with pod length and hundred seed weight. Path coefficient analysis revealed that plant height, pod per plant, and seeds per pod had a highly positive effect on yield per plant. Therefore, the yield improvement of pea is plausibly possible by associating and selecting those plant traits. Furthermore, two crosses such as Zhikargacha×IPSA Motorshuti 1 and Zhikargacha×IPSA Motorshuti 2 may be chosen for further breeding programs.

The objective of this review is to know about the major crops, vegetables, fruits, medicinal plants, and cash plants materials and women's participation in home garden agroforestry practices in Bangladesh. The various species of home gardens are nutritionally and economically valued as they fulfill a demand. Women are more engaged than men in home garden activities. Common vegetables, fruits contain significant amounts of protein, sugars, salts, calcium, iron, vitamins, minerals, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, potassium, calcium, zinc, magnesium, and iron. The common medicinal plants are using plant parts such as fruit, leaf, bark as treatment of dysentery, cough, fever, and other diseases. The flower plants improve beautification in the home and also contain the aesthetic value. The profit plant helped in the economic sector. The responsible bodies should undertake positive actions like promoting specific study plans in the home garden to ensure biological balance to improve the capacity of women communities to manage and maintain home garden diversity.
