This research was conducted to examine the socially responsible leadership (SRL) perceptions of university students, which are thought to be directly related to social developments. The survey method, one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the study. The sample consisted of 73 female and 134 male (Age Mean: 22.19±3.307) students studying at the faculty of sports sciences. The "Socially Responsible Leadership Scale-SRL" developed by Tyree (1998) and adapted to Turkish by Külekçi and Özgan (2015) was used as a measurement tool. Descriptive statistics, t-test, and ANOVA were used in the analysis. It was found that students' SRL perception was high. While the variables of gender, grade level, and taking social service course showed statistically significant differences, no statistically significant differences were found between other variables and sub-factors. It has been determined that as the age and grade level increase and the status of doing sports is positive, students' perception of socially responsible leadership also increases. The results obtained in this research reveal the importance of education and sports. The fact that the courses given on socially responsible awareness in universities, the number of projects, and the positive situation of individuals doing sports make us think that university students are also effective in increasing their perception of socially responsible leadership, and it is expected that the research will contribute to socially responsible leadership studies in the field of sports sciences.

Arastirmanin amaci spor bilimleri fakultesi ogrencilerinin boyun egici davranislarinin cesitli degiskenler acisindan incelenmesidir. Arastirmanin orneklemini spor bilimleri fakultesinde ogrenim goren 52 kadin, 80 erkek toplam 132 ogrenci olusturmaktadir. Arastirmada veriler arastirmacilar tarafindan olusturulan Kisisel Bilgi Formu (KBF) ve Turkce uyarlamasi Şahin ve Şahin (1992) tarafindan yapilan Boyun Egici Davranislar Olcegi (BEDO) ile toplanmistir. Olcek 5’li Likert tipi puanlamaya sahip 16 maddeden olusmaktadir. Olcekten alinabilecek en dusuk puan 16, en yuksek puan 80’dir. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 15.0 programi kullanilmistir. Yapilan guvenirlilik analizi sonucu Cronbach Alpha degeri .89 olarak bulunmustur. Verilerden elde edilen bulgulara gore; cinsiyet, sinif, yas ve buyudugu yer arasinda anlamli bir fark bulunamamistir. The survey was conducted to 1,274 people randomly selected among approximately 55,000 participants who participated in the sports festival organized by a municipality in Denizli-Turkey. As a data collection tools “Personal Information Form” prepared by the researchers and the “Festival Satisfaction Survey” which was developed by Yoon et al. (2010) and adopted into Turkish by Tayfun and Arslan (2013). The data collection forms applied to the participants during the festival and the data were checked in terms of normal distributions in the statistical analysis program and analyzed by using independent samples T test and ANOVA analysis methods. Self-leadership is a form of leadership that has emerged in the last quarter of a century. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a difference in self-leadership strategies between students who choose leadership course and do not choose. The sample of this research consisted of 144 sports management students in 2018; 35 female (24.3%) and 109 male (75.7%). The average age of students is 22.38 (sd=2.88). While 30 students (20.8%) stated that they chose leadership course, 114 students (79.2%) stated that they did not choose leadership course. In this study, the Turkish version of Abbreviated Self-Leadership Questionnaire (ASLQ) was used as a data collection tool, but original ASLQ was developed by Houghton et al. (2012). The Turkish version of the scale was adopted by Şahin (2015). As a result of the reliability analysis, the Cronbach’s alpha value was found to be .74. Araştırmanın amacı spor eğitimi alan üniversite öğrencilerinin liderlik davranışlarına ilişkin öz algıları ile yaratıcı kişilik özellikleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Bu çalışma, genel tarama modelinde ve nicel veriler elde edilecek şekilde tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmaya Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği, Antrenörlük Eğitimi, Rekreasyon ve Spor Yöneticiliği bölümlerinde öğrenim gören ve yaş ortalaması 21.78±3.016 olan 236 üniversite öğrencisi (kadın=74, erkek=162) katılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak; kişisel bilgi formu, “Lisans Öğrencilerinin Liderlik Davranışlarına İlişkin Öz Algı Ölçeği” ve “Yaratıcı Kişilik Özellikleri Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesi için bir istatistik programı kullanılmıştır. Analizler için betimsel istatistikler ve korelasyon tekniklerinden yararlanılmıştır. Spor bilimleri eğitimi alan üniversite öğrencilerinin liderlik davranışlarına ilişkin öz algıları ile yaratıcı kişilik özellikleri arasında bazı boyutlar açısından orta düzeyde, pozitif ve anlamlı ilişkiler vardır. Sonuç olarak, öğrencilerin liderlik davranışlarına ilişkin öz algıları ile yaratıcı kişilik özelliklerine ilişkin puanların beraber arttığı söylenebilir.

The aim of this study was to investigate the career stress determinants of the students in the Faculty of Sports Sciences. The average age of students is 21.39±2.60 (male n = 169, female n = 111). "Korean Career Stress Scale" developed by Choi et al. (2011) and adapted to Turkish by Özden and Sertel-Berk (2017) was used as data collection tool. No significant difference was found between the scores obtained from the scale and gender, age and the status of doing sports. A statistically significant difference was found between the scale scores of the students and the sub-dimension of "employment pressure" according to the grade variable and the total score and the "career ambiguity and lacking information" sub-dimension according to the department variable. As a result, it was determined that students experienced the "employment pressure" as their grade levels increased and they experienced the stress of "career ambiguity and lack of information" when the education department differed.

The aim of the study is to compare the satisfaction levels of the participants, participating in the sports festival according to some variables. The survey was conducted to 1,274 people randomly selected among approximately 55,000 participants who participated in the sports festival organized by a municipality in Denizli-Turkey. As a result of the analysis, male participants perceived a significant level of satisfaction in the sub-dimensions of program, value, satisfaction and loyalty from the questionnaire. A significant difference was found in the sub-dimensions of knowledge, value, satisfaction, and loyalty in the examination conducted by occupational groups. It is seen that this difference is caused by the public employees' higher satisfaction level. Another hypothesis of the study was to compare the satisfaction of participants according to their educational status. Significant differences were found in the sub-dimensions of knowledge, value, satisfaction, loyalty. It is seen that reason for the statistically meaningful difference, primary school graduates feel lower satisfaction from the festival in terms of education level. As a result, it is thought that participants of the sport festivals feel different satisfaction in terms of their gender, education status and working situation and while planning that kind of events these characteristics must be taken into consideration.

Kişilerin bir işi gerçekleştirebilmek için kendini etkileme süreci kendi kendine liderlik olarak tanımlanabilir. Kendi kendine liderlik 1980’li yıllarda ortaya çıkan modern liderlik yaklaşımlarından biridir. Bu araştırmada, spor bilimlerinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin kendi kendine liderlik düzeylerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan 52 kadın (%39), 80 erkek (%61) toplam 132 öğrenci bu araştırmanın örneklemi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Türkçe çevirisi Şahin (2015) tarafından yapılan “Kendi Kendine Liderlik Ölçeği (KKLÖ)” kısa formu kullanılmıştır. KKLÖ 5’li Likert tipi puanlamaya sahiptir ve 9 maddeden oluşmaktadır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS paket programı kullanılmıştır. Ölçeğin Cronbach Alpha değeri .82’dir. Yapılan analizlere göre; KKLÖ’den alınan puanlar ile yaş, sınıf, cinsiyet ve bölüm arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunamamış, üniversiteye kadar yaşadığı yer arasında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur (p<.05). Öğrencilerin ölçekten aldıkları ortalama puan 34.88’dir (min=10, maks=45). Sonuç olarak; spor bilimleri fakültesi öğrencilerinin kendi kendine liderlik düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu ve sadece bir değişkene göre farklılık gösterdiği söylenebilir.
Abstract: Self-leadership can be defined as the self-affecting process to do a task. Self-leadership is one of the modern leadership approaches that emerged in the 1980s. In this research, it is aimed to examine the self-leadership levels of students in sport sciences. The sample of the study consists of a total of 132 sport sciences students, whom 52 are women (39%) and 80 are men (61%). Personal Information Form and “Abbreviated Self-Leadership Questionnaire (ASLQ)” which is the short version translated to the Turkish language by Şahin (2015) was used as the data collection tool of the study. ASLQ has 5-point Likert type and consists of 9 items. SPSS package program was used in the analysis of the data. Cronbach Alpha is calculated as .82 as result of reliability analysis. According to the analysis; there was no statistically significant difference the scores obtained from ASLQ among age, class, gender and department, there was a significant difference between place of growth (p <.05). The average score of the students is 34.88 (min=10, max=45). As a result; it can be said that faculty of sports sciences student’ self-leadership levels are high, however, it only differs according to one variable.

The aim of this study is to examine the leadership behaviors levels of university students studying in the Sports Management Department. The sample of the research consists of 148 students (male n=112, female n=36) aged between 18 and 28 years. In this study, the Personal Information Form was created in order to learn the characteristics of the participants such as gender, age groups, the status of doing sports as an athlete and the status of volunteering in sports events. The Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire (LBDQ), which was translated into the Turkish Language by Atar and Özbek (2009), was used as a data collection tool. The mean score of the students was 4.142 in the dimension of initiating structure and was 3.760 in the dimension of consideration. According to the results of the analysis, the initiating structure dimension scores differed according to variables of gender, the status of doing sports as an athlete and the status of volunteering in sports events. The consideration dimension scores differed age groups and the status of volunteering in sports events. In addition, it was found that there was a linear and significant relationship between scores of initiating structure and consideration.

The purpose of this research is to examine the psychological commitment to team of the students of the Faculty of Sport Sciences. The sample of the study consisted of 242 students (97 female, 145 male) in the Physical Education and Sports Teaching, Coaching Education, Recreation and Sports Management Departments. " Personal Information Form " which was created by researchers and the Turkish version (Eskiler et al., 2011) of " Psychological Commitment to Team " (PCT) scale which was developed by Mahony et al. (2000) were used as a data collection tool in this research. Mann Whitney U test and Kruskal Wallis H test were used to analyze the data. Analyzes were made on the total score of PCT. For this study, Cronbach's Alpha was found as .80 for the total score. As the result of analyzes, the level of " psychological commitment to team " of the students was found to be high. While there was no significant difference between gender and age variables with the scores obtained from PCT scale, there was a significant difference between department, licensed product purchases, years of being a sports fan, desire to work and possibility of working with the scores obtained from PCT scale. As a result, hypothesis 1, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 were accepted, while hypothesis 2 and 3 were rejected.

Özet Araştırmanın amacı spor bilimleri fakültesi öğrencilerinin boyun eğici davranışlarının çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın örneklemini spor bilimleri fakültesinde öğrenim gören 52 kadın, 80 erkek toplam 132 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veriler araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan Kişisel Bilgi Formu (KBF) ve Türkçe uyarlaması Şahin ve Şahin (1992) tarafından yapılan Boyun Eğici Davranışlar Ölçeği (BEDÖ) ile toplanmıştır. Ölçek 5'li Likert tipi puanlamaya sahip 16 maddeden oluşmaktadır. Ölçekten alınabilecek en düşük puan 16, en yüksek puan 80'dir. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 15.0 programı kullanılmıştır. Yapılan güvenirlilik analizi sonucu Cronbach Alpha değeri .89 olarak bulunmuştur. Verilerden elde edilen bulgulara göre; cinsiyet, sınıf, yaş ve büyüdüğü yer arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunamamıştır. Öğrencilerin BEDÖ'den aldıkları puanlar ile eğitim gördükleri bölüm arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur (p<.05). Öğrencilerin ölçekten aldıkları ortalama puan 43.51'dir. Sonuç olarak; ölçekten alınan puanlara göre spor bilimleri fakültesi öğrencilerinin boyun eğici davranışlarının orta düzey olduğu, sadece bölüme göre farklılık gösterdiği saptanmıştır.
Abstract :
The aim of the research is to observe sports science students' submission behaviors in terms of different variables. The sample of the research consists of 52 female and 80 male, totally 132 students of Sports Sciences Faculty. Data of the study are collected via Personal Information Form (PIF) that is created by researchers and Submissive Behaviors Scale (SBS) which is adapted to Turkish by Şahin and Şahin (1992). The scale consists of 16 items which are designed in a 5-point Likert type. The minimum point can be gained is 16 and the maximum is 80. SPSS 15.0 program is used for the analysis of the data. Cronbach Alpha is calculated as .89 as result of reliability analysis. According to findings, a significant difference could not be found among gender, class, age and place of growth. A significant difference is found between the grades students gained from SBS and their departments (p<.05). The average point students gained is 43.51. As a result, according to the points gained by the scale, Sport Sciences Faculty students have a medium-level of submissive behaviors, it was only differed in respect to their department of education (p<.05).

Bu araştırmanın amacı mezun olunduğunda yönetici olabilecek üniversite öğrencilerinin liderlik davranışlarını incelemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemi yönetim bilimleriyle ilgili dört farklı bölümde (Spor Yöneticiliği, Siyaset Bilimi ve Kamu Yönetimi, İşletme ve Çalışma Ekonomisi ve Endüstri İlişkileri) lisans öğrenimi gören 152 erkek, 128 kadın, toplam 280 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada, katılımcıların cinsiyet, yaş, öğrenim görülen bölüm ve öğrenim süresi gibi özelliklerini öğrenmek amacıyla " Kişisel Bilgi Formu " oluşturulmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak Atar ve Özbek (2009) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan " Liderlik Davranışlarını Betimleme Ölçeği " kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular %95 güven aralığında .05 anlamlılık düzeyinde yorumlanmıştır. Ölçeğin bu araştırma için hesaplanan Cronbach's Alpha değeri .74 olarak bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerin liderlik davranışlarını betimle ölçeğinden aldıkları puan ortalamaları yapıyı kurma boyutunda 3.83 ve anlayış gösterme boyutunda 3.74'tür. Ölçekte bulunan yapıyı kurma ve anlayış gösterme boyutlarından alınan puanlar ile cinsiyet, yaş grupları ve öğrenim süresi arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark bulunamamıştır. Öğrencilerin bölümleri ile yapıyı kurma düzeyleri arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunamamış ancak anlayış gösterme düzeyleri ile bölüm arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur.
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to examine the leadership behaviors of university students who may be manager when they graduate. The sample of the research consists of 280 students (152 men, 128 women) who have undergraduate studies in four different departments (Sports Management, Business Administration, Politics and Public Administration and Labor Economics and Industrial Relations) related to management sciences. In this study, " Personal Information Form " was created in order to learn the characteristics of the participants such as gender, age, department and period of education. The Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire (LBDQ), which was adapted to Turkish by Atar and Özbek (2009), was used as a data collection tool. The results were interpreted at a level of significance of .05 in the 95% confidence interval. The Cronbach's Alpha value calculated for this study was found to be .74. The mean score of the students taken from the scale are as follows: 3.83 in the dimension of initiating structure and 3.74 in the dimension of consideration. There was no statistically significant difference between scores obtained from the dimensions of initiating structure and consideration and gender, age groups and duration of education. There was no significant difference between the department and the level of initiating structure, but there was a significant difference between the level of consideration and the department.

The goal of the 'Olympic Movement' is to contribute to building a peaceful and better world by educating youth through sport practices with Olympism and its values. To contribute to the Olympic Movement; Culture and Olympic Education Commission of Turkish NOC, has prepared an interactive Olympic education project called " OLI " since 2009, which reached 3 million students. It is very important to develop a means to analyze if the Olympic education program OLI fullfills its aims. Therefore the research question of this study is " What are the principal aims of the OLI program and how can we develop an evaluation procedure to assess the extent to which these aims are achieved? " A sample group was a class of students (n=33) who participated in the OLI education. The methodology of the study included developing the survey from the context of education given to evaluate the program. Before and after case study was conducted to the students. The questions developed were related to knowledge about the modern Olympic Games and knowledge of attitudes associated with, Olympic values and Olympism. According to the results of the survey; the OLI project increased the knowledge about Modern Olympic Games and the knowledge of attitudes associated with, Olympic values and Olympism. The importance of the study was that; even though there is a wide range of approaches to Olympic education programs, there is indeed no detailed evaluation methods. With this study; an approach which is short, sharp, feasible and something which can be used relatively easy to implement was developed.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, profesyonel futbolcuların iş doyum düzeylerini belirlemek ve iş doyumunu etkileyebilecek yaş faktörü açısından incelemektir. Araştırmaya Türkiye liglerindeki kulüplerde profesyonel olarak futbol oynayan 149 erkek futbolcu katılmıştır. Veri toplama araçları olarak “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve “Minnesota İş Doyum Ölçeği”nin kısa formu kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analiz sonucunda futbolcuların genel iş doyumlarının 46.91, içsel doyum düzeylerinin 23.93, dışsal doyum düzeylerinin ise 23.01 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Futbolcuların yaş grupları ile içsel doyumları, spor yaşı ile genel iş doyumları, spor yaşı ile içsel ve dışsal doyumları arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunamamıştır. Buna karşılık futbolcuların yaş grupları ile genel iş doyumları ve dışsal doyum düzeyleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur.

The purpose of this study was to determine the level job satisfaction of professional football players and to examine in terms of age factor. 149 football players who played football professionally in Turkish leagues’ clubs participated in the research. “Personal Information Form” and the short form of “Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale” were used as data collection tools. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that general job satisfaction of the footballers 46.91, the internal satisfaction levels 23.93, the external satisfaction levels 23.01. There was no significant difference between the age groups of footballers and their internal satisfaction, sport age and general job satisfaction, sport age and internal and external satisfactions. On the other hand, a statistically significant difference was found between age groups of footballers, general job satisfaction and external satisfaction levels.

The aim of the study is to examine the undergraduate program courses of the universities providing training in Sports Management in Turkey. In this study, electronic screening method was used via web sites of universities. 80 Sports Management Departments (SMD) were found and only 20 of them which were up to date were analyzed. 2016-2017 academic year curriculums were examined. All universities examined were state universities. The courses were grouped as Compulsory-Elective, Theoretical-Practical and Total number of course-hour and credit. The percentages of the courses were calculated over the total course hours for that group.

This study was made to put forth the number of women in the Turkish sports management and emphasize the need to attach more importance to this field in the future. The population of this study is constituted by the organizations that give direction to sport in Turkey. The sample group consists of; Youth and Sports General Directorate (YSGD), Turkish National Olympic Committee (TNOC), Sport Federations (SF's), Physical Education and Sports Departments in universities (PES), the first division clubs in football, volleyball and basketball. Screening model was used to obtain numeric data. As a result of the screening conducted, it was found that 81 provinces affiliated to YSGD had only 1 provincial director, 1 of 17 members in the board of directors of the TNOC, 35 of 701 members in the board of the federations, 62 of the 53 universities and only 8 members out of 494 members in the clubs were found to be female managers. It can be said that the obtained data is quite small when compared to the population and the number of male managers.

Özet Bu çalışmanın amacı çalışanların yıldırma sonucu işyerine yönelik oluşabilecek tutumlarını belirleyebilmek için bir ölçme aracı geliştirmektir. Ölçeği geliştirme aşamasında Likert tipinde bir ön deneme formu oluşturuldu. Ön deneme uygulamaları sonucunda madde havuzu 78 maddeden oluştu. İnternet ortamında düzenlenen taslak form Yükseköğretim Kurumu'na (YÖK) bağlı 181 üniversitenin 30'unda görev yapan akademik personele e-posta yolu ile gönderildi ve geri dönen sonuçlara göre veriler elde edildi. Toplam 26.431 akademik personele gönderilen formlardan 1.326 adedi geri dönmüş ve yıldırmaya maruz kalındığı belirtilen 561 adet taslak ölçek verisi değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Yapılan madde analizi sonucu katkısı olmayan 22 madde ölçek dışı bırakılmıştır. Kalan 56 maddenin faktör analizine uygunluğu araştırılmış ve Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) değeri 0.918 çıkmıştır. 56 maddenin özdeğerlerine bakıldığında, en yüksek özdeğere sahip dört faktör seçilmiş ve ölçek nihai olarak 33 maddeden oluşmuştur. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizinin KMO değeri 0.907 ve Bartlett testi sonucu 4131,431 olduğu saptanmıştır. Yapılan güvenirlik analizinde Cronbach Alpha iç tutarlılık katsayısı 0.925 olarak bulunmuştur. Ölçekte dört faktör bulunmaktadır ve 10'u olumlu, 23'ü olumsuz toplam 33 maddeden oluşmaktadır. Sonuç olarak bu araştırmada geliştirilen " Yıldırma Sonucu Tutum Ölçeği " (YSTÖ) çalışanların yıldırma sonucu işyerine yönelik tutumlarını belirlemek amacıyla kullanılabilir. Ayrıca sadece akademik personel için geliştirilmemiş olup bu meslek grubu dışında kalan diğer işyerlerindeki çalışanlara da uygulanabilir.
Abstract
The aim of this study is to develop a scale to determine the possible attitudes of employees towards the workplace after the mobbing. During the scale development phase was created a Likert-type pre-test form. As a result of pre-experiment applications, the draft form was formed from 78 items. The draft form prepared on the internet was e-mailed to the academic staff of 30 of the 181 universities affiliated to the Council of Higher Education (CoHE) and the data were obtained according to the returned results. 1,326 recipients of 26,431 academic staff forms were returned. 561 pieces of draft scale data that were exposed to mobbing were taken into consideration. 22 items without contribution to substance analysis were removed from the scale. The appropriateness of 56 items to factor analysis was examined and the value of Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) was obtained 0.918. When it is investigated the eigenvalues of 56 items, four factors with the highest eigenvalue are selected and the scale finally consists of 33 items. KMO value of confirmatory factor analysis was 0.907 and the result of Bartlett test was 4131,431. Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficient was found as 0.925 in the reliability analysis. There are four factors in the scale and it is composed of 33 items, 10 of which are positive and 23 of which are negative. The " Mobbing Attitude Scale " (MAS) developed in this research can be used to determine the attitudes of the employees towards the workplace after the mobbing. It is not only developed for academic staff, but it can also be applied to employees in other workplaces outside this profession.

Spor Bilimleri ve Teknolojisi Yüksekokulu’nda okuyan öğrencilerin Yüksek Öğretime Geçiş (YGS) puanı ile teorik ve uygulamalı derslerdeki başarıları arasında bir ilişki olup olmadığı öğretim elemanları arasında her zaman sorula gelen bir fenomen olmuştur. Bundan dolayı, araştırmanın ana amacı, bu iki değişkenin önemini vurgulamak ve öğrenci seçiminde önemli bir kriter olan YGS puanı ile Akademik Başarı arasında bir ilişki olup olmadığını belirlemektir. Araştırmanın evrenini Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği, Antrenörlük ve Rekreasyon Bölümleri’nde öğrenim gören 3. ve 4. sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak öğrenci işleri tarafından belgelenen okula girişte kullanılan YGS puanları ile transkript belgeleri kullanılmıştır. Akademik Başarı (Akd.B.), Uygulama Dersler Başarısı (Uyg.Drs.B.) ve Teorik Dersler Başarısı (Teo.Drs.B.) olarak iki ana başlık altında incelenmiş ve bu iki bölümün ortalaması ise Genel Başarı (Gn.B.) olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Öğrencilerin uygulama ve teorik dersleri ortalamalarına baktığımızda uygulama ders ortalamalarının teorik ders ortalamalarından daha yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. Korelasyon analizi sonucunda, öğrencilerin YGS
puanları ile Teo.Drs.B. ve Gn.B. arasında 0,01 düzeyinde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu bulunmuşken, YGS puanları ile Uyg.Drs.B. arasında ise istatistiki olarak anlamlı olmayan ancak negatif bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte, tek-yönlü ANOVA istatistik analizi sonucunda her üç bölüm öğrencilerinin YGS puanları ile uygulama, teorik ve genel ders ortalamaları arasında anlamlı fark bulunmuştur. Elde edilen bu sonuca göre, öğretmenlik bölümünde (diğer bölümlere göre YGS puanı yüksek olan öğrenciler) öğrenim gören öğrencilerin teorik derslerde daha başarılı ancak uygulamalı derslerde daha az başarılı olduğu söylenebilir. Ancak, öğrencilerin hem teorik hem de uygulamalı derslerde başarılı olmaları istenmektedir. Bunu başarmak için, bir yandan Özel Yetenek Sınavı ile öğrenci alan bölümlerin spor özgeçmişine verdikleri önem kadar YGS puanına önem vermeleri, özel yetenek sınavı sistemini yeniden değerlendirmeleri ve öğretim elemanlarının ölçme ve değerlendirme yöntemlerini tekrar gözden geçirmeleri gerekmektedir.
Abstract:
The main purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between School of Sport Science and Technology students' Student Selection Exam (SSE) scores and their theoretical and practical courses achievement. Participation of the study are 3rd and 4th graders studying in the Physical Education and Sports, Coaching, and Recreation Departments. Students' SSE scores and transcript documents were provided by student affairs. Academic achievement has been divided into two sections: the theoretical and practical courses achievement. The mean of these two variables is evaluated as general achievement of students. It was found that the mean of students' practical courses are higher than their theoretical courses' achievement mean. As a result of the correlation analysis, while there are significant statistical relationships between students' SSE scores and their practical course achievement and general achievement at the 0.01 level, there is a negative but not significant correlation between theoretical courses achievement and students' SSE scores. Moreover, ANOVA statistical analysis showed meaningful differences for each department's students' theoretical, practical and general courses achievement' mean. According to the obtained results, it can be said that the physical education and sport department students are more successful in theoretical courses, but less successful in practical courses. As a result, departments using special ability exam for choosing their students need to re-evaluate their ability exam system and the methods of measurement and evaluation of faculty members.

The aim of this research was to determine the number and working conditions of female managers in Turkey’s sports management. Sport-related public institutions, federations and sport clubs were investigated in this study.  Research method was quantitative and qualitative, interviews and document analysis was conduct. Some data was collect from internet and showed by percentages. Youth and Sports General Directorate (GSGM), National Olympic Committee of Turkey (TMOK), 60 sport federations, Football, Volleyball and Basketball first division league clubs were investigated institutions and organizations. Screening model was used to obtain data from qualitative research methods. As a result, only 1 provincial director connected to the GSGM of 81 provinces, 1 of 17 members of the board in TMOK, 35 from 701 of the Federation board members, 8 of 494 members in the clubs were identified as women managers.

varyans analizi (ANOVA) kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonunda birinci sınıf
öğrencilerinin ilk sırada “Eğlence” sonra “Bilgi Tarama”, ikinci sınıf
öğrencilerinin ilk sırada “Bilgi Tarama” sonra “Eğlence”, üçüncü ve dördüncü
sınıf öğrencilerinin ise ilk sırada “Bilgi Tarama” sonra “Ödev Hazırlama” amaçlı
olarak İnternet’i kullandıkları tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin sınıf düzeyleri ile
İnternet kullanımına yönelik tutum puanları arasında anlamlı bir fark

Abstract
Department of physical education and sports teaching
students’ attitudes towards the internet usage and their aim of
using the internet

The purposes of this study are to learn the reasons why the students in the
Department of Physical Education and Sports use the Internet and to determine
their attitudes towards the Internet. Forty-three female and 72 male students
participated in this study. “Questionnaire of Information Gathering” and
“Attitude Scale towards Internet Usage” questionnaire, which was originally
developed by Tavşancıl & Keser (2002), were given to participants. Descriptive statistics and One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) are used in the analysis
of the data. The conclusion of the study indicated that the purpose of the internet
usage were “to have fun” for freshmen students, “to scan information” for
sophomore, junior and senior students. There were no significant differences
between the class level of students and their score of attitudes toward the
Internet usage.
