Situé à une certaine distance de la réalité, le proverbe est une transposition, une sorte de traduction. « Traduire » un proverbe d'une langue dans une autre est donc une double transposition. Autrement dit : il faut chercher les équivalents d'un élément lexical au 1er niveau et des proverbes au 2nd. Le lecteur ou le traducteur d'un texte dans une langue source a donc besoin d'aide quelquefois même pour se rendre compte qu'un énoncé est un proverbe, souvent pour l'interpréter et presque toujours pour en trouver l'équivalent le plus adéquat dans la langue cible. Cette aide doit venir d'un dictionnaire. De quel dictionnaire ? Soit d'un dictionnaire général, soit d'un dictionnaire de proverbes. Voyons les deux cas.

Название книги, на мой взгляд, неудачное. Но таково было решение издательства. Я сам предпочитал точное название: «Французско-русский толковый юридический словарь». Если говорить языком простым, то этот словарь по своему замыслу и содержанию - та самая матчасть, которую необходимо изучать и юридическому переводчику, и юристу-компаративисту.

Notre thèse relève du domaine de la lexicographie et plus précisément de la
lexicographie contemporaine. Notre étude analyse les dictionnaires historiques comme
objet de recherche. Quant à notre problématique de recherche, elle porte sur la constitution
de la macrostructure et sur l’élaboration de la microstructure des dictionnaires historiques
que sont le Dictionnaire Historique de la Langue Française (le RH), le Dictionnaire
Historique de la Langue Anglaise (l’OED) et le Dictionnaire Historique de la Langue
Arabe (le DHLA). Les deux premiers dictionnaires historiques sont déjà publiés, alors que
le dernier est en cours de compilation.
Notre étude comporte deux objectifs principaux. Tout d’abord, elle analyse les
éléments de divergence et les éléments de convergence entre la macrostructure et la
microstructure des deux dictionnaires historiques, que sont le RH et l’OED. Ensuite, elle
examine ces éléments et détermine ceux qui sont applicables dans la constitution de la
macrostructure et l’élaboration de la microstructure du DHLA. Pour ce faire, nous avons
opté pour l’analyse d’un corpus issu principalement des dictionnaires - le RH et l’OED.
Nous avons fait appel également à un corpus secondaire constitué à partir des dictionnaires
français, anglais et arabe de langue générale.
Notre étude a permis de confirmer que les trois dictionnaires historiques adoptent
trois approches différentes dans la constitution de leur macrostructure. Le RH adopte une
approche étymologique. Quant à l’OED, il utilise une approche lexicale. Enfin, le DHLA a
opté pour une approche complexe. En revanche, ces trois approches sont mises en œuvre
en appliquant trois critères, à savoir, tout d‘abord un critère diachronique, puis un critère
orthographique et enfin un critère étymologique. En outre, notre étude a permis de
confirmer également que la mise en ordre des entrées principales impacte directement la
mise en ordre des entrées secondaires.
Quant à la microstructure, les trois dictionnaires élaborent la définition de leurs
entrées en adoptant relativement le même modèle. En dernière instance, il s’agit d’un
modèle construit à partir de trois types d’informations : des informations d’ordre
morphologique, des informations d’ordre sémantique et enfin des informations
contextuelles.

Цель статьи - представить французско-русский толковый юридический словарь:
Шлепнев Д. Н. Французский язык для юристов: толковый словарь. Ростов н/Д.: Феникс, 2006. 288 с. (Высшее образование).

Если говорить языком простым, то этот словарь по своему замыслу и содержанию – та самая матчасть, которую необходимо изучать и юридическому переводчику, и юристу-компаративисту.

Весь тираж этой книги на сегодня разошелся. Поскольку право стремительно развивается, то сегодня стереотипное переиздание словаря уже, конечно, было бы шагом неразумным. И французский, и отечественный законодатель напринимали новых законов. Соответственно, некоторые толкования, объяснения и сравнения требуют правки.

Статья была подготовлена специально для Портала французского права (http://www.france-jus.ru) по просьбе его тогдашнего координатора Арнольда Сойе (Arnold Sohier), где и была опубликована в 2009 г. вместе с парой других моих статей на тему юридического перевода. К сожалению, проект, видимо, закрылся (или переориентировался?), и довольно обширная библиография трудов на русском языке о французском праве оттуда удалена.

Книга включала в себя: Введение; Раздел 1 – Толкование основных терминов французского права; Раздел 2 – Толкование терминов уголовного права; Сокращения и аббревиатуры; Приложение. Заметки о юридической терминологии; Алфавитный указатель.
Содержание Раздела 1 определялось во многом содержанием такой непременной для первого курса дисциплины на французских юридических факультетах, как "Введение (или Общее введение) в право". В рамках этой дисциплины студентам сообщают основополагающие сведения о праве вообще и о французском праве в первую очередь. Это некий базис, фундамент, на котором возводят дальнейшие постройки... В сущности, основной материал здесь из гражданского права.
Раздел 2 - это, прежде всего, общая часть уголовного права. С некоторыми экскурсами в особенную часть.
Работа над этими разделами изначально велась мной в разное время: предполагалось издание двух разных книг. Толковый словарь по уголовному праву появился ранее отдельным изданием в виде университетской публикации. Эта публикация не получила ни рекламы, ни нормального распространения. Но, к счастью, появилась возможность, издать всё под одной обложкой в крупном издательстве. Что и было сделано.
В третьем разделе содержатся расшифровки (без перевода) наиболее частотных сокращений и аббревиатур, встречающихся в юридических документах, комментариях к кодексам, учебниках, справочных пособиях и  ссылках на судебную практику.

И с некоторыми поправками процитирую сказанное ниже: составление словаря стало возможным благодаря сотрудничеству с Университетом Гренобль II (сегодня он влился в Université Grenoble Alpes), на Юридическом факультете которого я имел возможность спокойно и, надеюсь, небестолково работать несколько лет в качестве приглашенного преподавателя (maître de conférences invité) в самом дружественном окружении. А также благодаря поддержке Отдела по сотрудничеству и культуре Посольства Франции в России и Министерства иностранных дел Франции, которые обеспечили материальную сторону проекта.

RESUMEN
En un período de seis meses en 2004 y 2005, la publicación electrónica de diccionarios de lengua fran-cesa ha conocido una renovación importante con la publicación del Grand Robert électronique en mayo de 2005 y la primera edición del Trésor de la langue française informatisé en disco compacto de la versión on line (aparecida en noviembre de 2004). Es recomendable examinar algunas carac-terísticas de estos dos diccionarios evocando la génesis de sus dos proyectos lexicográficos hasta las innovaciones electrónicas recientes. RÉSUMÉ En l'espace de six mois en 2004 et 2005, l'édition électronique des dictionnaires de langue française a connu un profond renouvellement avec la réédition du Grand Robert électronique (désormais GRE) en mai 2005 et la première édition du Trésor de la langue française informatisé en version cédérom (paru en novembre 2004). Il convient d'examiner quelques caractéristiques de ces deux dictionnaires en évoquant la genèse des deux projets dictionnairiques jusqu'aux innovations électroniques récentes. Mots-clé : lexicographie (histoire), édition éléctronique, dictionnaires français, Trésor de la langue française, Grand Robert.

Resumo: Esse estudo exploratório do Dicionário Priberam de Língua Portuguesa (DPLP), na sua formulação digital, parte da questão: como tal dicionário afeta a divisão política da língua a partir de sua digitalização e circulação na Internet? Trata-se de um material propício para mostrar a atualização do processo de gramatização do português no início do século XXI e para observar as singularidades do trabalho lexicográfico no espaço digital e a produção de saberes sobre a língua nesse momento histórico. O corpus é composto por recortes de formulações dos anos de 2012, 2013 e 2014, período de exploração do material de análise. Os procedimentos de descrição levaram ao trabalho intradiscursivo com os efeitos do visual, ou seja, a própria formulação visual como elemento importante para a compreensão do funcionamento da discursividade lexicográfica em Priberam.
Abstract: This exploratory study of the Dicionário Priberam de Língua Portuguesa (DPLP), in its digital formulation, parts from the question: how does this dictionary affect the political division of the language considering its digitization and circulation on the Internet? It is an auspicious material to demonstrate the updating of the Portuguese grammatization process at the beginning of the 21st century and to observe the singularities of the lexicographic work over digital space and the production of knowledge about the language at this historical moment. The corpus consists of formulations cutouts from the years of 2012, 2013 and 2014, period over which the material of analysis was investigated. The description procedures led to the intradiscursive work with the effects of the visual, that is, the visual formulation itself as an important element for the understanding of the functioning of the lexicographic discursiveness in Priberam.

This article deals with the use of illustration as intersemiotic translation in dictionaries of French slang. Even though the presence of illustration may suggest a lack of intralingual translation on which slang dictionaries are built, it shows as we shall see, that illustration becomes an intracultural mediation’ mechanism for the French reader. The different types of illustration used by dictionaries’ writers are also examined. In the dictionaries of French slang that were analysed, it seems that illustration aims at providing a semantic orientation for the treatment of slang lexemes and their consolidation in the collective cultural memory. Similarly, the diverse forms of illustration show how valorise they are in intralingual communication.

This project is led by a group at São Paulo State University (UNESP/Brazil) in collaboration with lexicographers and linguists from France, Portugal and Quebec-Canada. In this research, an idiomatic expression is understood as a type of phraseologism represented by a complex figurative lexical unity, which is also a part of the cultural tradition of a language. The corpus consists of a prior recording of idioms in the Brazilian Portuguese and French from France, on which we added equivalents in European Portuguese and Canadian French, in order to create dictionary entries. Their microstructure consists of the entry in alphabetical order of idioms in Brazilian Portuguese, followed by a paraphrasing definition and usage labels, equivalents in European Portuguese and equivalents in French and in Quebec French variant, including respective synonyms. All idioms and their variants in both languages had to meet a minimum threshold frequency. Results demonstrate the richness of this phraseological language regarding idioms, whose relations are located in six different cases.

Sözlükçülük ülkemizde ve dünyada hızla gelişen dil bilimin bir dalıdır. Bu dalın gereği olarak Türkiye'de son yıllarda Türkçeyi başarılı bir şekilde kullanan şair ve yazarların eserlerindeki söz varlığının Türkçe Sözlük için tarandığı, fişlendiği ve ortaya çıkan sonuçların Türkçe Sözlük derlemine aktarılması gerektiği fikrini işleyen pek çok çalışma yapılmıştır.
İstiklal Marşı; Mehmet Akif Ersoy tarafından yazılan, edebî değeri oldukça yüksek, metinler üstü bir eserdir. Dokuz dörtlük, bir beşlik olmak üzere toplamda kırk bir dizeden oluşan İstiklal Marşı’nın söz varlığında toplamda iki yüz kırk dokuz sözcük yer almaktadır. İstiklal Marşı’yla ilgili bu zamana kadar yapılan çalışmalara bakıldığında, onun söz varlığında yer alıp Türkçe Sözlük’te kendisine yer bulamayan ögelerle ilgili herhangi bir incelemenin yapılmamış olduğu görülmektedir.

Lexicography is a branch of linguistics that is rapidly developing in our country and in the world. As a requirement of this branch, many studies have been carried out in Turkey that deal with the idea that the vocabulary in the works of poets and writers who have successfully processed Turkish in recent years has been scanned for the Turkish Dictionary, and the results should be transferred to the Turkish Dictionary collection.
İstiklal Marşı; written by Mehmet Akif Ersoy, it is a work above text with a very high literary value. There are two hundred and forty-nine words in total in the vocabulary of the İstiklal Marşı, which consists of nine quatrains and a fifth, forty-one lines in total. When we look at the studies on the İstiklal Marşı so far, it is seen that there has not been any study on the elements that take place in its vocabulary but cannot find a place in the Turkish Dictionary.

Les terminologues s'entendent sur un certain nombre de règles quant à la rédaction de définitions. Toutefois, celles-ci sont souvent formulées comme des principes généraux servant à guider informellement le terminologue. L'absence de règles plus formelles mène à un manque d'uniformité dans les répertoires spécialisés. Pour remédier à cette situation, nous proposons des règles de rédaction de définitions pour des termes sémantiquement reliés au sein d'un domaine de spécialité. Ces règles prennent en entrée une définition pour un terme de base (par exemple, programmer) et la description du lien lexical unissant ce terme au second (par exemple, reprogrammer consiste à « programmer de nouveau »). S'appuyant sur une étude préalable à partir de termes anglais (San Martín et L'Homme 2014), le présent travail examine la possibilité de créer des règles pour des termes français et de les étendre à de nouveaux liens paradigmatiques (quasi-synonymes, antonymes, liens actanciels). Les résultats montrent que pour certains liens lexicaux des règles peuvent être formulées afin de permettre la génération de définitions sans intervention humaine ; pour d'autres liens, une intervention minimale est requise. Enfin, il semble que certains liens se prêtent mal à la génération automatique ou semi-automatique des définitions. // Terminologists agree on a certain number of rules regarding definition writing. However, these rules are often presented as very general and informal guidelines aimed to guide terminologists. The lack of more formal rules results in problems of systematicity in specialized resources. To help fix this problem, we propose definition writing rules for terms that are semantically linked in a specialized subject field. These rules use as input the definition of a base term (for instance, to program) and the information about the semantic relationship this term holds with a second one (for instance, to reprogram means " to program once again "). Based on a previous analysis of English terms (San Martín and L'Homme 2014), this work adapts the rules defined for English to French terms and extends them to other kinds of paradigmatic relationships (near synonymy, antonymy, actantial relationships, etc.). Results show that some lexical relationships can be used to create rules that allow the generation of definitions without human intervention; for other relationships, minimal intervention is required. Finally, other relationships do not lend themselves to the automatic or semi-automatic generation of definitions.

The revision of the proverb lore in the French-Hungarian and Hungarian-French Dictionary to be published in Hungary in the near future forced me to give quite quick and short answers to questions that should deserve due consideration, i.e.:
-How to determine the quantity and quality of proverbs that should be included in a (non-phraseological) bilingual dictionary?
-How to deal with proverbs no equivalent of which is known in the other language?
-To what extent are details needed/permitted about the different uses of individual proverbs?
-Under what and how many key words should a proverb appear?-Should we suppress the distinction between the labels proverb and proverbial expression because of the relationship between them?
-When the entry is divided into several parts for semantic or grammatical reasons, should we place the proverbs separately at the end of each part or together at the end of the entry?
I have no universal answer to these questions, but I may contribute to the common reflection by giving some ideas.
Die Revision der Sprichwörter im französisch-ungarischen und ungarisch-französischen Wörterbuch, welches in nächster Zukunft in Ungarn herausgegeben wird, hat mich gezwungen schnell und kurz solche Fragen zu beantworten, welche gehörige Erwägung verdienen würden, wie zum Beispiel:
-Wie sollte man die Quantität und die Qualität der Sprichwörter bestimmen, welche in ein zweisprachiges (nicht phraseologisches) Wörterbuch eingetragen werden?
-Wie Sprichwörter behandelt werden sollten, deren keine gleichdeutige Sprichwörter in der anderen Sprache bekannt sind?
-Bis zu welchem Maße Einzelheiten nötig/erlaubt sind über die Anwendung der einzelnen Sprichwörter?
-Unter welchen und wievielen Schlüsselwörtern sollten die Sprichwörter aufgenommen werden?
-Sollten wir die Unterscheidung zwischen der Bezeichnung Sprichwort und sprichwörtlicher Ausdrücke außer acht lassen, wegen der Verbindung unter ihnen?
-Wenn die Eintragung wegen semantischen oder grammatischen Gründen in mehrere Teile getrennt ist, sollten wir die Sprichwörter gesondert am Ende jeden einzelnen Teiles oder zusammen am Ende des Eintrages einfügen?
Ich habe keine allgemeine Antwort auf diese Fragen, doch ich möchte zu der gemeinsamen Reflexion durch Anregung einiger Gedanken Beitrag leisten.

The project of making a dictionary and a corpus of interlinearized texts of the Mwan languages started in 2004. Previously there were no dictionary of this language, and only a few text were published. The writing system used in these publications was controversial as it did not made the accurate fixation of the tonal contour of words. At present the dictionary of Mwan has 2247 entries, the dictionary is also used for automatic interlinearization of Mwan texts. The number of the glossed texts is actually 48 (38000 words). These text are ready to be converted into the on-line Corpus (with the help of the NoSketchEngine software), and be published in the Internet, therefore they will be available to the linguistic community. Osmanlı Devleti’nin Tanzimat’la birlikte Avrupa’ya açılan kapısı Fransızca üzerinden olmuştur. Bu sebeple XIX. asırdan 1928’e kadar yazılan kaynak dilin bir Batı dili, hedef dilin de Türkçe olduğu sözlükler içerisinde çoğunluğu Fransızca-Türkçe sözlükler oluşturmaktadır. Bu eserlerin sonuncusuysa Hasan Bedreddin (Bedirgil) tarafından Latin harflerine geçilmeden hemen önce 1928 yılında yazılmış olan Küçük Kamus-ı Fransevi’dir.
Yazarın eserinin ön sözünde belirttiği üzere sözlük; dönemin güncel söz varlığının dışında “en yeni kelimeleri, anlamları, farklı tabirat ve ıstılahatlarla birlikte I. Dünya Savaşı’nda çıkan kelimeleri” de kapsamaktadır. 1554 sayfalık ve 50.000 kelimelik bu adı küçük kendi büyük basılı sözlüğün, dönemin Maarif Vekaleti tarafından lise ve ortaokullarda okutulması da uygun görülmüştür.

Les séquences adverbiales figées du français et de l’italien sont ici présentées dans un lexique bilingue qui comporte plus de six mille entrées et de nombreux équivalents sémantiques. Elles ont été étudiées et comparées selon la méthodologie du lexique-grammaire. Ce lexique constitue un outil essentiel pour les recherches en lexicographie, traduction, traitement automatique du langage et didactique des langues.

"Today, in the Republic of Cape Verde, two languages are in daily use:
• Capeverdean, a Portuguese-based Creole language, is the mother tongue, spoken by nearly all of the 500,000 inhabitants of the country. Capeverdean Creole is also in current use among the Capeverdean diaspora, particularly in the U.S. (more than 200,000 speakers). In Portugal, Capeverdean is the second language in use after Portuguese, with over 100,000 speakers (Quint 2005: 26-27).
• Portuguese is the official language of Cape Verde, and the only one used in written communication, government services and schools.
The coexistence of two languages (Capeverdean and Portuguese) in Cape Verde and in Capeverdean communities can be seen as a cultural treasure.
However, the present-day situation of diglossia (Duarte Almada 1998; Quint 2000b: 243) in particular in Cape Verde and Portugal, where Capeverdeans speak Creole and have to learn Portuguese at school, can sometimes lead to linguistic confusion. In 1998, the Capeverdean Parliament officially recognized the role of the
Capeverdean language (Conselho de Ministros 1998: 18-23). This could, in time, lead to the introduction of Creole in Capeverdean schools and favor the appearance of a bilingual society. However, in order to teach Capeverdean, it is necessary to standardize the language and to provide adequate didactic material, especially grammars and reference dictionaries.
Some Capeverdean dictionaries are already available and provide translations for several thousands of Capeverdean items into Portuguese (Fernandes 1991; Quint 1998; Lang 2002), English (Pires & Hutchison 1983), and French (Quint 1999).
However, except for the Portuguese-Creole lexicon of Lopes da Silva (1957) and a rather short French-Capeverdean dictionary written by Quint (1997), there is still no sizeable reference lexicographic work offering translation from a foreign language into Capeverdean. Between 2000 and 2002, our Capeverdean, Portuguese and French team built the first standard Portuguese-
Capeverdean dictionary. This task was quite a challenge from at least two points of view:
- (1) technically, because of the scarcity of economic and human
resources and the lack of previous work in this specific field, and - (2), linguistically, particularly because of numerous problems arising from the non-standardized status of the Capeverdean language.
In this article, we will begin by describing the characteristics of the dictionary we have produced. Then we will explain in detail the difficulties we encountered, and the solutions and methodology we developed in order to solvethem. We will illustrate each point with examples taken from our dictionary,
which was finally completed and published during the second half of 2002."
