As we all know that education is crucial in the development of any country. The main focus of this research is to identify the problems faced by working women in education sector. We discovered that most of the parents and certain relatives are supportive towards their daughter serving in the education sector. All our respondents strongly believed that the married women face greater challenges than unmarried women. Although their husbands are co-operative but there children are prominently neglected. Despite the supportive attitude of their parents unmarried women still face challenges like transportation and managing time between personal and social life. Most of the respondents, married or unmarried, believed that their salary and promotion system is not satisfactory for which they blame “Favouritism”. In spite of all the facts, our research concludes that the education sector of Bahawalpur for female teacher is fairly good.

Strategic recruitment is of vital importance in recruitment planning now a day. We also found the usefulness of Generation X approach in identifying the differences between the old generation and the young new Generation x and the different needs and attitudes of both the generations. This gives us an idea that the old recruitment practices might not be enough in today’s competitive environment. The Rank and Yank approach shows just how intense the competition is in the corporate world today and the fact that this approach is so successful is astounding. Although the benefits of Internet recruiting exceed its drawbacks but even then we found that Internet recruiting is still more useful for computer related business sector. We would also conclude that despite all other recruitment testing methods Interviews still stand out as one of the best ways to identify and recruit the right person for your organization.

Several businesses are now grappling with the need to recruit, select and retain fresh talent. Finding good people is becoming so difficult these days that one HR director said “losing people should be a criminal offence”. The cost of not retaining an employee is almost 250% the person’s annual salary. There is no one panacea for retaining people. Blanket solutions to individual needs tend to backfire. In contrast to their grandparents, employees in the new millennium do not stay with a company for life. A more tailored yet strategic approach is most appropriate to the management of recruitment, selection and retention. This book has been inscribed in a way that it covers just about every aspect of Recruitment, Selection and Retention. The book not only discusses the old notions but also sheds light on the new concepts such as Generation X, Rank and Yank Approach, employment laws and most importantly the unsung aspect of Retention – the catalyst for competitive advantage. This book features diagrammatic illustrations of almost all the topics hence allowing the readers to have a comprehensive understanding of the whole topic in a single glance.

This is a first of its kind empirical study addressing the unmarked topic of risk management practices (RMPs) of IFIs and CFIs in Pakistan. The study aimed at expanding the existing literature by providing novel empirical evidence. Literature review classified risks faced by both IFIs and CFIs under six categories. The research concludes that credit risk, equity investment risk, market risk, liquidity risk, rate of return risk and operational risk management practices in IFIs are not different from the practices in CFIs and the overall risk management practices of IFIs and CFIs are alike in Pakistan. The study also concludes that a research based in one country cannot be generalized to another country therefore every country must conduct research in its own context. This opens our eyes to the fact that much is unknown about the risk management practices in Pakistani financial system, creating a need for empirical studies for further discoveries to formulate better frameworks and to prevent an impending financial crisis that might be unraveling as you read this book. “The revolutionary idea that defines the boundary between modern times and the past is the mastery of risk…”
