株式会社クロスフェーダーは、AR（拡張現実）機能を利用した地図アプリ「ARマップ」のiPhone版のサービスを開始した。AR（拡張現実）技術・地図・カメラの3機能を利用し、誰でも「iPhoneをかざすだけ」で目的地の方向が直観的にわかり、目的地の位置と経路を可視化（ARタグ）した地図アプリ。
また、ARタグで目的地の方向を可視化している為、道に迷いにくく、目的地までのルートを案内ができます。さらに、現在地から周辺情報を呼び出すことができ、近辺の飲食店情報等も探すことができます。

ARモードでは、iPhoneの画面を通して見る地面が地図に変わり、iPhoneを掲げた風景と、自分がいる場所の地図情報が一画面で認識できます。

目的地を設定すると、現在地から目的地までの方向をARタグで表示し、目的地までの道順が可視化されます。

The client for the project, Frucor (makers of V energy drink), together with their agency Colenso BBDO, kitted-out a warehouse space for this project to grow in and gathered together a group of talented people from a number of creative fields.

We created and designed the live visual spectacle with a music video being produced from the results. We wanted it to be clear that the technology was real and actually being played live. The interface plays a key role in illustrating the idea of the instrument and we designed it to highlight the audio being controlled by the dancer. Design elements like real time tracking and samples being drawn on as they are played all add to authenticity of the performance. The visuals are all created live and the music video is essentially a real document of the night.

The concept re-defines the relationship between passengers in a vehicle and the world around it by transforming the vehicle's windows into an interactive interface. Using augmented reality, what used to be a pane of glass begins to provide passengers with information about landmarks and other objects they travel past. The window can also be used as a canvas for drawings, which then interacts with the passing environment. The concepts generated aimed to re-define human-nature relationship in the context of near future mobility, expose Europeans to Japanese values and culture and use this experience to trigger emotions.

To maximise engagement and provide a real horror experience xenium technologies planned an augmented reality engagement. Huge display screens were placed in malls with a HD camera showing live feed. A marker was placed in front of the screens. People who come near the marked zone can see their reflections on the screens, with an apparition suddenly appearing from their behind. Walking away from the user the apparition suddenly looks towards the user and returns towards them. Standing next to the user apparition makes certain gesture leading disappearance of user from the screen.
The communication was to tease people with the fear of the unknown and give them a thrilling experience.

Application to combine AR and VR, and to acquire maintenance of equipment. AR begins to be used as for such a scene.
Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology used for maintenance support of existing products. The service instructions are depicted directly into the operator's vision and enhance his product view while maintaining the item. In order to provide high-quality maintenance support the manuals have to be created and tested at the development stage of the product.
This paper describes a possible solution for testing AR instructions on virtual prototypes by combining AR and Virtual Reality (VR) technology. Technical aspects for combining VR and AR displays are outlined and a combined system is presented. Furthermore, the paper shows the development of a specific test scenario for evaluating the created system and contains design patterns for depicting AR instructions in Virtual Environments (VE). Finally, the usability of the solution is tested by a user study.
The realized research started in March 2010 and was part of the project "Augmented Reality in Virtual Environments" STE 1451/6-1 promoted by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
The Paper was presented at ESDA2012 and is published in the ASME Digital Library (ESDA2012-82594 ).

This is a Augmented Reality project involving video overlay over a marker. In this Project the Qualcom Augmented Reality SDK is used for Augmented reality purpose. The video is overlaid using the GLSL shadres. The Video Frames are captured using the AVFoundation class functionality of IOS.
