The algorithm of Collatz is also known the 3n+1 problem. It will be started with any uneven natural number (n). This number is to triple and add one. The Grade IV cancer Glioblastoma is an extremely common and aggressive brain tumour. It is of significant consequence that histopathologic examinations should be able to identify and capture the tumour's genetic variability for assistance in treatment. The use of Deep Learning-in particular CNNs and GANs-have become prominent in dealing with various image segmentation and detection tasks. The use of GANs have another importance-to expand the available training set by generating realistic pseudomedical images. Multi-modal MRIs, moreover, are also crucial as they lead to more successful performances. Nonetheless, accurate segmentation and realistic image synthesis remain challenging tasks. In this study, the history and various breakthroughs/challenges of utilising deep learning in glioblastoma detection is outlined and evaluated. To see networks in action, an adjusted and calibrated Vox2Vox network-a 3D implementation of the Pix2Pix translator-is trained on the biggest public brain tumour dataset BraTS 2020. The experimental results demonstrate the versatility and improvability of GAN networks in both fields of augmentation and segmentation. Overall, deep learning in medical imaging remains an extremely intoxicating field full of meticulous and innovative new studies.

Since the Bin Packing Problem (BPP) is one of the main NP-hard problems, a lot of approximation algorithms have been suggested for it. It has been proven that the best algorithm for BPP has the approximation ratio of and the time order of, unless. In the current paper, a linear-approximation algorithm is presented. The suggested algorithm not only has the best possible theoretical factors, approximation ratio, space order, and time order, but also outperforms the other approximation algorithms according to the experimental results; therefore, we are able to draw the conclusion that the algorithms is the best approximation algorithm which has been presented for the problem until now.

We introduce an approach of manufacturing of a field-effect heterotransistor with inhomogenous doping of
channel. The inhomogenous distribution of concentration of dopant gives a possibility to change speed of
transport of charge carriers and to decrease length of channel.

The work is about using Simulated Annealing Algorithm for the effort estimation model parameter
optimization which can lead to the reduction in the difference in actual and estimated effort used in model
development.
The model has been tested using OOP’s dataset, obtained from NASA for research purpose.The data set
based model equation parameters have been found that consists of two independent variables, viz. Lines of
Code (LOC) along with one more attribute as a dependent variable related to software development effort
(DE). The results have been compared with the earlier work done by the author on Artificial Neural
Network (ANN) and Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) and it has been observed that the
developed SA based model is more capable to provide better estimation of software development effort than
ANN and ANFIS.

This paper attempts to improve the quality and the modification rate of a Stego Image. The input image
provided for estimating the quality of an image and the modified rate is a bitmap image. The threshold
value is used as a parameter for selecting the high frequency pixels from the Cover Image. The data
embedding process are performed on the pixels that are found with the help of Threshold value by using
LSBMR. The quality of an image is estimated by the value of PSNR and the modification rate of an image is
estimated by the value of MSE. The proposed approach achieves about 0.2 to 0.6 % of improvement in the
quality of an image and about 4 to 10 % of improvement in the modification rate of an image compared to
the edge detection techniques such as Sobel and Canny.

As the information proliferates, searching for relevant information has become a primary task. Searching
or Information retrieval (IR) aims to help the users in organising as well as retrieving those documents
from the documentary collection which are most likely to satisfy information needs of the user. An optimal
Information Retrieval System (IRS) is one which retrieves only those documents from the document
database which are pertinent to user's information needs, while excluding documents that are not relevant.
Genetic Algorithm is described by higher likelihood of finding good solutions to large and complex
problems of IR optimisation. The performance of Genetic Algorithm depends upon the decision of
underlying operators used namely selection, crossover and mutation. A GA-based algorithm IRIGA
(Information Retrieval Improvement using Genetic Algorithm) is developed to improve the performance of
Information Retrieval System. This paper presents a comparison of performance of IRIGA when different
selection methods are used. The results are analysed by conducting experiments keeping the rest of the GA
parameters as constant and varying only the selection strategy.

an objectionable level. The depletion in file size permits more images to be deposited in a given number of
spaces. It also minimizes the time necessary for images to be transferred. There are different ways of
abbreviating image files. For the use of Internet, the two most common abbreviated graphic image formats
are the JPEG formulation and the GIF formulation. The JPEG procedure is more often utilized or
photographs, while the GIF method is commonly used for logos, symbols and icons but at the same time
they are not preferred as they use only 256 colors. Other procedures for image compression include the
utilization of fractals and wavelets. These procedures have not profited widespread acceptance for the
utilization on the Internet. Abbreviating an image is remarkably not similar than the compressing raw

refer to all those algorithms that are used for enhancing sound in any of the steps of a processing chain of
music production. Real time audio effects generation is a highly challenging task in the field of signal
processing. Now a day, almost every high end multimedia audio device does digital signal processing in
one form or another. For years musicians have used different techniques to give their music a unique
sound. Earlier, these techniques were implemented after a lot of work and experimentation. However, now
with the emergence of digital signal processing this task is simplified to a great extent. In this article, the
generations of special effects like echo, flanging, reverberation, stereo, karaoke, noise filtering etc are
successfully implemented using MATLAB and an attractive GUI has been designed for the same.

Search engines today are retrieving more than a few thousand web pages for a single query, most of which
are irrelevant. Listing results according to user needs is, therefore, a very real necessity. The challenge lies
in ordering retrieved pages and presenting them to users in line with their interests. Search engines,
therefore, utilize page rank algorithms to analyze and re-rank search results according to the relevance of
the user’s query by estimating (over the web) the importance of a web page. The proposed work
investigates web page ranking methods and recently-developed improvements in web page ranking.
