Society 5.0

Society 5.0 ialah era revolusi yang dicetuskan oleh pemerintahan Jepang.
Indonesia pada saat ini masih dalam tahap sosialisasi untuk penerapan Revolusi Industri 4.0 yang dimana  dalam penerapan revolusi industri 4.0 terdapat pemanfaatan teknologi digital (misal: Artificial Intelligence)  yang menjadi salah satu langkah-langkah di dalam penerapan yang dibuat oleh Pemerintah.
Indonesia sebagai negara bagian dari Asia Tenggara yang memiliki angka kesiapan adaptasi menempati
posisi ke-5 se Asia Tenggara menurut Oxford Insight.
Bagaimana langkah-langkah yang akan dipersiapkan oleh Negara, khususnya pemerintahan dalam  mempersiapkan diri untuk menghadapi Revolusi Industri 5.0 ?

Gagasan Society 5.0 muncul sebagai konsep dalam mengatur perkembangan
teknologi yang masif dan mengatasi permasalahan sosial melalui teknologi.
Implementasi konsep ini dalam dunia pekerjaan dan perkantoran dapat diaplikasikan
dengan cara menciptakan lingkungan kerja cerdas. Lingkugan kerja cerdas
berdasarkan tujuan dari konsep Society 5.0 adalah bagaimana menciptakan kesatuan
antara karyawan dengan teknologi yang terdapat dalam kantor agar menghasilkan
kinerja yang efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis
bagaimana lingkungan kerja cerdas di era Society 5.0 tercipta melalui faktor-faktor
yang mempengaruhinya. Faktor-faktor strategis yang mempengaruhi terciptanya
lingkungan cerdas meliputi motivasi, kedisiplinan, smart office dan IoT.

“Emerging Trends and Strategies for Industry 4.0: During and Beyond Covid-19” is a thought-provoking book composed of original and previously unpublished chapters, which tries to shed light on the ways of the worldwide business environment.

The fourth stage of Industry Revolution called Industry 4.0 started a decade ago. Private companies and even public sector organizations have already been engaged in a digital transformation process. However, Covid-19 has played a role of a catalyst and increased the pace of that transformation. This unforeseeable challenge has resulted in a great uncertainty and ambiguity for both the organizations and governments. Existing theories, trends, strategies and practices are fast becoming obsolete in this new environment. As a result, there
is a strong need for new theories, trends, strategies and practices to meet these challenges.

By presenting chapters from multidisciplinary perspectives, this book tries to bring into light some of the ways that are being used or suggested for this challenge. We expect this book to provide relevant theoretical frameworks, emerging trends and strategies, and latest empirical findings and business practices regarding the challenges and opportunities created by Covid19. It is hoped and expected that business practitioners as well as scholars will find this book
useful to diffuse the fog, and suggest ways to thrive in this era of uncertainty.

We are deeply grateful for each author of the chapters for their scholarly contributions. We also thank the publishers for their support in this whole process.

Purpose – The aim is to explain that not only technological developments make society 5.0 possible, but that it depends on a new social contract that puts the planet and humanity at the center of the chaos of technological and other changes such as the climate crisis, geopolitics and the colonization of other planets.
Design/methodology/approach – On the basis of literature research and reflection, a better understanding of society 5.0 and the essential role of the social contract has been achieved.
Findings – The difference between the fourth industrial revolution (4IR) and society 5.0 is a social contract that focuses on the planet, people, and the meaningful economy in that order. There was too much emphasis on economic growth and less attention for the planet and people until recently.
Originality/value – The concept of society 5.0 is relatively new. Very slowly, the realization dawns that a new social contract underlying this. In this article, the social contract and its content are explicitly discussed. For example, it is stated that connection to the internet and universal basic income are part of the new social contract and fundamental human rights.

Oleh: Nur Laili Kemajuan zaman dan teknologi menuntut manusia mengikuti derasnya perkembangan. Internet of things buah dari revolusi industry 4.0 menjadi penggerak kehidupan manusia saat ini. Roadmap yang ditawarkan adalah dengan menggunakan Big Data sebagai sumber perindustrian. Perusahaan yang cepat bergerak dan lihai dalam mengambil peluang akan mampu bertahan dalam disrupsi tersebut. Nama dan modal besar suatu perusahaan sudah tidak menjadi penentu kesuksesan. Dampak dari IoT adalah terkoneksinya banyak benda dengan internet, bukan hanya manusia dengan manusia. Manusia yang tidak terampil dan kreatif, sudah pasti akan tergeser dan digantikan perannya oleh artificial intelligence atau kecerdasan buatan. Kolom pakar UGM merilis bahwa pada tanggal 21 Januari 2019, kantor PM Jepang menciptakan skema yang lebih humanis, disebut Society 5.0. Skema tersebut bertujuan untuk mengamankan posisi manusia ketika dihadapkan dengan kecerdasan buatan. Konsep Masyarakat 5.0 berpusat kepada manusia (human centered) dan berbasis teknologi (technology centered). Roadmap society 5.0 sebagai tindak lanjut atas era disrupsi dan Revolusi Industri 4.0. Arief Budiman (Guru besar Fakultas Teknik UGM) (2019) mengatakan bahwa melalui Masyarakat 5.0 kecerdasan buatan akan mampu untuk mentransformasikan jutaan data yang dikumpulkan dalam internet ke dalam segala bidang kehidupan. Penekanan dalam maysarakat 5.0 adalah keseimbangan antara pencapaian ekonomi, dan peranan sosial dalam masyarakat. Keidanren (Japan Business Federation) (2016) menyajikan, sesuai tujuan Society 5.0 adalah agar "setiap individu termasuk orang tua dan wanita dapat hidup aman dan terjamin kehidupan yang nyaman dan sehat dan setiap individu dapat mewujudkan gaya hidup yang diinginkannya". Sebagai contohnya Jepang sedang mengembangkan drone agar dapat menjadi media mengirim barang, mensurvei tempat, dan alternative penolong ketika bencana.

Büyük dönüşüm ve değişim dönemlerinde yapısal ve kültürel değişimler
yaşanırken eğitim sistemlerinin değişmeden aynı kalması beklenemez.
İçinde bulunduğumuz çağda devrim niteliğindeki hızlı teknolojik
değişimler gerçekleşmektedir. Nesnelerin interneti (IoT), yapay zekâ
(AI) ve robotik gibi dijital teknolojilerin gelişmesi ve yayılması
toplumsal yaşamda da önemli değişiklikler yaratmaktadır. Doğal olarak
ekonomik, sosyal, kültürel, politik değişimler kadar eğitim sistemi de bu
değişimden payını almaktadır. İnsan öğesinin niteliğine en doğrudan
etkiyi yapan eğitim süreçleri de toplumla eş uyumlu biçimde
değişmekte, dönüşmekte ve dijitalleşmektedir.
Toplum 5.0, ilk olarak Japonya’da ortaya atılarak uygulanmaya başlayan
bir büyüme ve kalkınma stratejisi olarak değerlendirilebilir. Hem
ekonomik kalkınmayı hem de toplumsal sorunların çözülmesini
hedefleyen, insan merkezli bir toplum oluşturmayı amaçlamaktadır.
Toplum 5.0, her ne kadar Japonya eksenli bir büyüme, gelişme ve
kalkınma vizyonu olsa da, teknolojinin getirdiği sorunları çözme ve
Endüstri 4.0’ın ihmal ettiği “insanı odağa alan ve değer yaratma
boyutundaki” eksiklikleri giderme potansiyeli taşımaktadır.

Gelombang perubahan besar dan cepat diduga akan terus berlangsung dimasa depan jangka panjang maupun jangka pendek,  terus bergulir dihadapi oleh anak anak kita dan generasi setelahnya. Tulisan ini akan membahas lebih pada aspek perkembangan teknologi dan bagaimana menyiapkan dan memanfaatkan dengan benar, sekaligus antisipasi efek negatif yang mengikutinya.

Eksistensi merupakan suatu hal yang bermakna berwujud atau terlihat keberadaannya. Jika eksistensi ini dikaitkan dengan sebuah profesi dan akan berfokus pada profesi pustakawan, maka eksistensi ataupun keberadaan pustakawan sebagai salah satu profesi yang jelas, dengan segala kemampuan yang dimiliki guna dirasakan manfaatnya oleh masyarakat. Society 5.0 ini dipengaruhi oleh kemajuan teknologi yang sedang terjadi di masa kini dan akan terus berkembang lagi untuk kedepannya. Tentu hal ini akan sangat menguji kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh pustakawan untuk bisa menyesuaikan diri dengan pola kehidupan masyarakat yang terus berkembang.

The Japanese Government’s “Society 5.0” initiative aims to create a cyber-physical society in which (among other things) citizens’ daily lives will be enhanced through increasingly close collaboration with artificially intelligent systems. However, an apparent paradox lies at the heart of efforts to create a more “human-centered” society in which human beings will live alongside a proliferating array of increasingly autonomous social robots and embodied AI. This study seeks to investigate the presumed human-centeredness of Society 5.0 by comparing its makeup with that of earlier societies. By distinguishing “technological” and “non-technological” processes of posthumanization and applying a phenomenological anthropological model, the study demonstrates: (1) how the diverse types of human and non-human members expected to participate in Society 5.0 differ qualitatively from one another; (2) how the dynamics that will shape the membership of Society 5.0 can be conceptualized; and (3) how the anticipated membership of Society 5.0 differs from that of Societies 1.0 through 4.0. The study describes six categories of prospective human and non-human members of Society 5.0 and shows that all six have analogues in earlier societies – which suggests that social scientific analysis of past societies may shed unexpected light on the nature of Society 5.0.

The world will start a new era of society where technology and humans can collaborate to solve social problems. Many countries have ridden into the 4.0 era in the industrial revolution. In reality, Japan began to introduce Society 5.0, where the concept was the answer to the industrial revolution 4.0. Society 5.0 applies the human-centered concept based on information technology. In fact, there has been no in-depth study of the advantages and challenges of implementing paperless in various fields. The purpose of this paper is to review the challenges and the advantages of the paperless concept using Narrative Literature Review to provide an objective analysis of the paperless concept. The objects research discussed including industry/manufacturing, education, medical, and government. This paper provides an in-depth study and analysis of the paperless concept's advantages and challenges related to hardware and software maintenance, data security and reliability, human resources technical skills, social interaction, and disaster recovery strategy.

This paper situates data practices in Japan in a diffractive genealogy of surveillance capitalism. It puts data conceptualized in three ways into focus: real data, data in information banks, and data of the super app LINE. While technology embodying these concepts of data is mainly used in Asia, this technology is entangled with discourses and legislation in Europe and practices of U.S. American surveillance capitalism in important aspects. This article empirically traces these entanglements and demonstrates how discourses around data sovereignty, geopolitical shifts, historical background, global political and economic trends, and international policies intermingle in contemporary accounts of data and digital sovereignty in Japanese context. Decolonial theory is consulted in order to account for Japan's recent past as a non-Western territorial empire and the privileged position that Japanese experts on data have in the drafting of international data policies.

Pendidikan Indonesia saat ini masih beradaptasi dengan Era revolusi industry 4.0, dimana ketersedian internet dimanfaatkan hanya sebagai penunjang beberapa aspek kehidupan saja, lalu bagaimana kesiapan pendidikan Indonesia pada Era Society 5.0 nanti?  maka dari itu tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan pendidikan Indonesia dalam menghadapi Era Society 5.0

The industrialization process that started in the 1800s has reached Industry 1.0 - 2.0 - 3.0 and Industry 4.0 with the development of today's technology. The digital transformation brought about by the 21st century has had a great impact on Industry 4.0. In digital transformation, concepts such as artificial intelligence, artificial learning, internet of things (IoT) seem indispensable for Industry 4.0. These elements of digitalization are used in all industrial processes and it is seen that there will be a more digital intensive process in the future.
The dizzying change experienced in Industry 4.0 actually constitutes the infrastructure of the Community 5.0 understanding. This understanding, which emerged for the first time in Japan, expresses robot and human cooperation. While robots will be included in some jobs and approaches in the future, human influence will continue on some jobs. The main purpose here is for the society to live a more comfortable life in more integrated systems. Society 5.0 aims to create both a knowledge-based and data-based society. In addition, the concept of bio-economy, which includes the correct and trouble-free use of biological resources, is included in the understanding of Society 5.0. So, Society 5.0 also creates its own economy.
In this study, which was prepared as a compilation, it was discussed how the Society 5.0 understanding aims to create a society and what kind of an economy this understanding will bring with it.

Technology and innovation need to be utilized to help and advance society, not to replace the role of humans. Thus this change is expected to help humans in their daily lives. The characteristics of the two eras are almost the same, including digitalization, optimization and production with customization, automation, interaction between humans and machines, value added services and business, the use of information technology and the wealth of data held. Through the combination and continuity between the industrial revolution 4.0 and society 5.0, it can form a better pattern of social order, so that it can improve the quality of people's social lives. One of the demands of the industrial phenomenon 4.0 and Society 5.0 is the availability of quality data that is always updated. This paper will discuss in detail the direction of change in corporate life from industry 4.0 to society 5.0., The development of the digital economy and the company's strategy to survive to face the existing changes.

ÖZET Sanayi Devrimi, 18. yüzyılın ortalarından itibaren başlayan ve 19. yüzyılda da hızlanarak artan değişimlerle birlikte yaşanan sürecin adıdır. Endüstri devrimi olarakta nitelendirilen bu süreç önce Kıta Avrupa'sında başlamış olup hızlı bir biçimde tüm dünyayı etkilemiştir. Birçok sosyal bilimciye göre Sanayi Devrimi henüz tamamlanmamış bir süreçtir. Sanayi Devrimi'nin soyo-kültürel yaşama etkileri çeşitlenerek artmaktadır. Sosyal bilimciler, insanlığın öncelikle ilkel toplumlardan yani avcı-toplayıcı toplum biçimlerinden geldiğini ileri sürmektedirler. Tarım, hayvancılık ve balıkçılığın önemli geçim kaynağı sayıldığı tarım toplumu sürecini yaşayan insanlık daha sonra sanayi devrimi ile tanışmıştır. Sanayi devrimi de 20. yüzyılda yerini Bilgi Toplumuna bırakmıştır. Bilgi toplumu kavramı daha çok bilgisayar teknolojilerinin gündelik yaşamda çok sık ve etkili yer etmeleri sayesinde kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Kitle iletişim araçlarının yaygınlaşması, üretim ve tüketimin bilgi temelli olarak yaygınlaştığı, toplumsal yaşamda bilgiye verilen önemin giderek artması, gündelik pratiklerde bilgiye dayalı işlerin artması bilgi toplumuna geçiş sürecinin önemli parametrelerini oluşturmaktadır. Sosyal bilimciler yaşanan toplumsal değişimleri isimlendirmede birbirinden farklı nitelendirmeler yapmıştırlar. Günümüze dek uzanan etkileri olan bu süreci kimileri üçüncü dalga (Alvin Toffler), kimileri endüstri sonrası toplum (Daniel Bell), kimileri teknokratik çağ (Brezezinski) olarak isimlendirmiştir. Toffler, yaşadığımız sürecin son derece hızlı gerçekleştiğini, gözlerimizin önünde yeni bir uygarlığın doğmakta olduğunu ancak bu doğmakta olan uygarlığın doğuşuna engel olmaya çalışanlarında olduğunu belirtmektedir. Günümüz toplumlarında ise bilgi toplumlarının yerini Toplum 5.0 olarak nitelendirilen süreç yer almaktadır. Toplum 5.0 henüz çok yeni bir kavramdır. Toplum 5.0 (Society 5.0) kavramı ve akıllı toplum Japonya'nın Liberal Demokrat Partili Başbakan Shinzo Abe tarafından 2016 yılında Almanya'da CeBIT fuarında dünya kamuoyuna duyurulmuş bir kavramdır. Japonya'nın en köklü iş adamları dayanışma sivil toplum örgütlerinden olan Keidanren tarafından daha sonra Toplum 5.0 ile ilgili geniş bir değerlendirme ve kavramın içeriğini doldurma amaçlı bir kitapçık hazırlanmıştır. Bu anlamda değerlendirildiğinde Toplum 5.0'ın içeriği, yönelimleri, toplumu nasıl dönüştüreceği, yeni sosyal ilişkilerin nasıl şekilleneceği henüz tam olarak tahmin edilememektedir. The concept of "Internet of Things (IoT)", which is on our agenda with the Industry 4.0 trend and we frequently meet in many parts of daily life, is a holistic concept that expresses all the objects (things) connected to the internet through a network. With the impact of artificial intelligence, big data and network technologies, the IoT affects and transforms almost every segment of the society, from individuals to organizations. In order to keep up with this transformation, it is very important to understand this transformation. The main purpose of this study is to examine the available literature about the impact of digital transformation on businesses, especially for the IoT. In the research, content analysis method, an inductive approach, was used as a qualitative research method. Thus, it is aimed to contribute to the literature by examining the effects, benefits and difficulties of this radical change, also called digital transformation. As a result of the examining, it has been evaluated that the national studies are less compared to the international studies; therefore, studies in the country are not enough despite the current in the world. In addition, the majority of current studies in both national and international literature are in computer and engineering sciences and the interest in the subject in social sciences is much lower. Based on these findings, the general approach and attitude about IoT and digital transformation of business in Turkey and the worldwide have been tried to be revealed. In addition, advice and suggestions were made to individuals, researchers, organizations, institutions and non-governmental organizations about the benefits, disadvantages and difficulties of this digital transformation. Structured Abstract: The concept, expressed as Internet of Things (IoT) in English and started to be used frequently with Industry 4.0 studies, is a very new and up-to-date topic in the field of Social Sciences and Business discipline. The Industry 4.0 ecosystem and IoT, which is a new generation technology created by this ecosystem, has not been adequately addressed in the field of social sciences, although there are current issues of interest in the field of engineering and Information Technologies (IT). This paper discusses e-commerce, industry 4.0 and society 5.0 which includes definitions, history, framework and dimensions of technology. From this scope, a comparison was made between industry 4.0 and society 5.0 and a discussion on the alignment and impact of industry 4.0 and society 5.0 on e-commerce. After a deeper comparison and discussion, it can be concluded that technology society 5.0 is a continuation of industry technology 4.0. Then there is technology alignment between e-commerce with the era of industrial 4.0 and society 5.0, where e-commerce technology follows and adapts its technology to each of those eras. The era of industrial 4.0 and society 5.0 had many positive impacts on the development and progress of e-commerce.

Society 5.0 is a commonly discussed topic in the industrial field. Society 5.0 causes a lot of changes and challenges for Indonesian people, especially for the productive age (15 and above). To face this, resilience is needed. Resilience is the ability to work adaptively in various situations thereby ready to face challenges in Society 5.0. Resilience is known to be positively related with spirituality whereas spirituality is also one of five main balance aspects in Society 5.0 which focuses on interaction amongst human and technology. In Indonesia, spirituality is inseparable with religiosity as it becomes part of self identity and life ethics. So, as Indonesia is the most religious country, it can be concluded that Indonesia also has high spirituality. Researchers conducted a study to test the correlation between spirituality and resilience of the people in productive age. Researchers used correlational study design with Spirituality Orientation Inventory (SOI) to measure spirituality and ConnorDavidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) to measure resilience. Based on this study, we conclude that spirituality has significant positive correlation with resilience. In accordance, spirituality is an important aspect that needs to be nurtured in order to be more prepared in facing Society 5.0.

Background and purpose: The study aims to answer a research question: With which essential cornerstones technological innovations the transformation from Society 4.0 and Industry 4.0 to Society 5.0 and Industry 5.0 is enabled? The study is important for practitioners and researchers to understand the meaning of Society 5.0 and to familiarise themselves with the drivers that will help shape Society 5.0 policies and play an important role in its further development. Therefore, the authors conducted a quantitative bibliometric study that provides insights into the importance of the topic and incorporates current characteristics and future research trends. Methodology: The study used algorithmic co-occurrence of keywords to gain a different insight into the evolution of Society 5.0. Thirty-six selected articles from the Web of Science database were analysed with the bibliometric analysis and overlay visualisation. Results: The co-occurrence analysis shows that terms artificial intelligence, cyber-physical systems, big data, Industry 4.0, Industry 5.0, open innovation, Society 5.0, super-smart society have been widely used in researches in the last three years. Conclusion: The study presents a bibliometric analysis to analyse the current and future development drivers of a Society 5.0. According to the results, the transition from Society 4.0 to Society 5.0 can be achieved by implementing knowledge and technologies in the IoT, robotics, and Big Data to transform society into a smart society (Society 5.0). In particular, the concept would enable the adaptation of services and industrial activities to individuals' real needs. Furthermore, these technologies allow advanced digital service platforms that will eventually be integrated into all areas of life.

Teknik ve teknoloji insanın meydana getirdiği kültürün bir görünümü mahiyetindedir. Bugün için varılan noktada kimileri teknolojiye insanları zor ve sıkıcı işlerden kurtardığı için iyimser bakarken; kimileri de teknolojinin eşitsiz dağılımı sebebiyle sosyal adaletsizliği artıracağını düşünerek ön yargıyla yaklaşmaktadır. Her iki görüşün de net olarak reddedilemediği bir ortamda teknolojiyi çok yönlü bir bakışla irdelemek elzem görünmektedir.

Ayrıca küresel salgın sürecinde evrilen küresel sistemin tedbir görünümlü icraatları teknoloji merkezli yanlarıyla eleştirel olarak incelenmiştir. Üstel bir gelişim hızına sahip teknolojinin gizil gücünü dikkate alarak değerlendirilmesi, geleceğine dair öngörülerde bulunulabilmesi için incelemeye değer bulunmuştur. Japon toplumunun ihtiyaçlarını gözeterek oluşturulan bir proje olan Toplum 5.0’ın henüz yeni yaygınlık kazandığı düşünülürse, bu haliyle çalışmanın literatüre katkıda bulunması umulmaktadır. Yapılan çalışmada, koşullar itibariyle uzak durulması ya da tamamen reddedilmesi imkansız olan teknolojinin; çok yönlü bir bakışla değerlendirilmesi, ihtiyaca binaen iyi niyetlerle geliştirilmesi, bireye ve topluma nüfuz ettiği noktalarda onunla doğru bir ilişki kurulması gerektiği kanısına varılmıştır.

Ruskin Üniversitesi'nde hazırlanan bilimsel makalede, Toplum 5.0'ın, Tarihsel Antropolojik sürece dâhil edilerek yeniden incelenmesi halinde, iddia edildiği gibi yeni değil, bir çok açıdan deneyimlenmiş bir toplum olduğunu iddia edilmektedir. Buna göre sadece insan dışı formların topluma katılması yönünden Toplum 1.0 ve 2.0 ile geleceğin "süper akıllı" teknolojik toplumunun karlaştırılmasında bile bu durum belirgin bir biçimde kendini göstermektedir. Toplum 5.0 projesinde insanlığın gelişimi 4 döneme ayrılarak her dönemin özellikleri belirgin bir biçimde tasvir edilmiştir. Buna göre şu anda Toplum 4.0'da yaşıyor olsak da insanoğlu, Toplum 5.0 olarak adlandırılan olağanüstü bir dönemin eşiğinde bulunmaktadır. İnsan ve teknolojinin en yüksek düzeyde yapacağı işbirliğiyle bireye üstün bir kabiliyetin kazandırılmasının planlandığı bu gelecekte, Yapay Zêka ve Robotlar topluma katılacak yeni unsurlar olarak sayılmaktadır. Fakat Ruskin Üniversitesi'nden Matthev E. Gladden'in yaptığı araştırma kapsamında İnsanoğlunun, giderek artan bir düzeyde sosyal robotlar ve bedenlenmiş yapay zekâyla birlikte yaşayacak olmasını, Toplum 5.0'da hedeflenen "insan merkezli" bir toplum yaratma çabasının merkezinde duran bir paradoks olarak değerlendirmektedir. Bu nedenle Toplum 5.0 üyelerinin kimlerden oluşacağının ve bu üyelerin sosyal ve hukuksal konumlarının tam olarak anlaşılmasını gerekli görmektedir. Öz Toplum 5.0 kavramı günümüzde sosyoloji dışı disiplinlerin kapsamlı analizlerine tabi tutulmasına karşın sosyoloji sınırları içerisinde tartışılması değerli görülen bir konudur. Bu çalışma Toplum 5.0 kavramının ne olduğu ve onun ihtiva ettiği e-yaşam kavramının etrafında sosyolojik bakış açısıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada ağırlıklı olarak iki rapora yer verilmiştir, Toplum 5.0'ın ne olduğu bu iki rapor üzerinden tartışılmıştır. Çalışmada teorik bir tartışma yürütülmüştür. Teorik zemin Toplum 5.0 kavramının ilk ortaya atıldığı Japonya'dan hareketle başlayan tarihsellikte Almanya'da iki kuruluşça gerçekleştirilen raporun tartışmaya dahil edilmesiyle birlikte; yapılan araştırmalar ve bu yeni toplum tanımının genel işleyişi beklentiler ve mevcudiyetler temelinde inşa edilmiştir. Analiz ikincil kaynaklar kullanılarak yapılmış, raporların aktarılmasında betimsel analiz kullanılmış ve çalışmanın tartışma kısmında tartıştığı konu itibariyle en uygun düştüğü düşünülen Wright Mills'in sosyolojik tahayyül olarak isimlendirdiği yaklaşım tercih edilmiştir. Çalışmanın bir diğer önemli vurgu kısmı Toplum 5.0'ın koşullarını hazırladığı e-yaşam'ın bizlere neler anlattığı hususudur. Nihayetinde e-yaşam'ın içerdiği pratiklerin ve kültürel örüntülerin de metin bağlamında altı çizilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda Toplum 5.0 tanımıyla anlatılan yeni toplum tahayyülünün içerdiği anlamdan hareket ile modernitenin bu yeni toplum tanımında yaşama alanı bulduğu önermesi ileri sürülmüştür. Bu yeni toplum tanımım ise sanal toplum ve sanal birey kavramları etrafında tartışılmıştır. Son olarak Toplum 5.0 tanımından hareketle sonrası için pek çok çalışma için soru fikirleri, çalışmanın belki de görünmeyen en önemli gizli vurgularından olmuştur. Manusia sebagai aspek utama dalam suatu perkembangan pada setiap waktunya memiliki banyak kebutuhan yang harus dipenuhi, tingginya permintaan untuk adanya kemudahan-kemudahan membuat perlunya Transformasi Digital yang dapat mengakomodir kebutuhan tersebut. Pada perkembangannya kebutuhan sosial yang awalnya adalah untuk memudahkan pada masa ini berkembang bahwa banyak aspek sosial yang perlu diperhatikan. Berangkat dari pemikiran ini maka munculah suatu gagasan yang dikembangkan di Jepang yaitu Society 5.0. Gagasan tersebut muncul dengan tujuan agar manusia tak hanya sekedar mendapatkan kemudahan dlam hidup tapi juga memiliki nilai. Nilai yang dimaksud adalah rasa nyaman tanpa ada halangan usia, kondisi, ras dan lainnya. Pada tulisan ini penulis bertujuan untuk melihat apakah gagasan dari Society 5.0 ini dapat memenuhi tujuan yang dicanangkan sejak awal dengan meninjau pemanfaatannya pada sektor Mobilitas, Kesehatan dan Caregiver, Agrikultur. Penelitian dilakukan secara studi literatur dengan melihat perubahan yang didapat dari aspek-aspek tersebut. Purpose: During the COVID-19 pandemic, a new age digital era has emerged; Artificial Intelligence (AI) could be instrumental in keeping this new virus within reasonable limits. AI also has the potential to transform communities into super smart Society 5.0. So, the main target of the study is to analyze AI-focused Society 5.0 configuration through the lens of the present pandemic. Design/Methodology/Approach: A systematic analysis of literature has been executed to discuss the AI-focused Society 5.0 configuration triggered by pandemic, in which over 300 publications are read and reviewed by the authors. The reliability and validity of literature analysis have also been established. Findings: The analysis confirms that the COVID-19 emergency can be one of the most important drivers, influencing transformation to Society 5.0 through the implementation of AI. This pandemic sets the perfect platform for global adoption of AI-based Society 5.0 to obtain more ethical human and technology collaboration. Research limitation: Prior empirical attempts are subsequently required to inquiry about the proposed conceptualization from different perspectives. Practical implications: The findings will act as a realistic roadmap for applying AI technologies to Society 5.0 outline by the incorporation of open source technologies, supportive regulations, and modern business models. Potential approaches emerging from this research are useful to community managers or large corporations partnering with local agencies to increase the opportunities for the long-term success of smart city projects. Social implications: The outcomes of the study will help to solve social and ecological issues aligned with SDGs. It will also create an innovative platform to utilize the working abilities of older segments of society. Originality/Value: This article is the first attempt to discuss AI-focused super intelligent society configuration to harness the hidden potential of the COVID-19 pandemic. Social orders of communities which are formed in connection with technological advancements and industrial revolutions have an impact on educational systems. The influence of industry 4.0 and its social order, society 5.0, are defined as Education 4.0. The aim of this research is to evaluate the current condition of our educational system in regards to education 4.0 and its constituents and find out whether the dimensions of education 4.0 shows significant differences in terms of particular variables like gender, grade, branch and experience or not. The study is designed in accordance with descriptive research model which is one of the survey types. Research data is collected from 114 high school students and 121 teachers who are also working in high schools. The lowest score is observed to be assigned by the participants to the dimension of curriculum with student participation. It is found out that there is a significant difference on behalf of male teachers in the dimensions of personalized learning and flexibility of learning in terms of gender. No significant difference is observed in the dimensions of education beyond time and space, project-oriented learning, data interpretation, constant monitoring instead of traditional evaluation, curriculum with student participation, guidance-based learning and values education in terms of gender, branch and experience. Furthermore, there appears to be no significant difference in terms of gender and grade in any dimensions.

Technological developments have left indelible impacts on the economy all along the line. Every novel
invention realized changes production processes rapidly, which concomitantly transforms social life. One
of the most apparent examples of this is the First Industrial Revolution emerged in the 18th Century.
Subsequent to this development which was considered as the beginning of production in the factory
environment, the second industrial revolution based on automation (First half of 20th Century) and the
third Industrial Revolution based on electronics (last quarter of the 20th century) were realized. Finally,
the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) process was initiated by Germany in 2011. In line with this
process in which cyber-physical systems and robotic technologies are expected to prevail, Super-Smart
Society (Society 5.0) model was developed by Japan in 2017. Both Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0
implementations are expected to have a significant impact on economic and social life and to change both
labor and Welfare State practices fundamentally. It is also possible that these aforementioned
developments may have an impact on social security system of the government. Likewise, the emergence
of extensive unemployment condition due to robotic technologies and training for adaptation of available
labor force to the new technologies may lead to redesign of the social security system. The aim of this
study is to demonstrate the possible impacts of the Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 processes on social
security expenditures. The basic result obtained from the study; unemployment increase and training
activities for the labor-force increases social security expenditures, but however digitalization process in
Welfare State implementations may be expected to decrease social security expenditures in the long-run
depending on efficiency and effectiveness increases in the government.

Perhaps "Industrial Revolution" term used to remind many of the West's rising, especially Britain, and a fundamental change in the system of labor and production. Now, at the same time as the Fourth Industrial Revolution and on the eve of entering the fifth generation of society, Japan has snatched the lead from everyone.
In 2016, the World Economic Forum officially spoke about the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and Japan, as the first country, began to formulate and implement its plan for the realization of the Fifth-Generation Society. It designed a plan called Society 5.0. The question that this article seeks to address and answer is why and how Japan was able to consolidate its position in this new revolution and introduce itself as a role model for others. This article examines the role of education and its developments and reforms, especially in the 21st century, in preparing the country for its current status.
Japan's will to implement continuous reforms in the Japanese education system led the country to a new concept of "integrated knowledge" much earlier, perhaps later than many Western countries. A key point in Society 5.0 is removing boundaries between sciences, making a human-centered and super-smart society, and the lifelong learning of life skills.

ÖZ Bilgi iletişim teknolojilerinde yaşanan gelişmeler, küreselleşme ve kuşaklar arası sosyokültürel mesafenin açılması gibi gelişmeler ile birlikte sosyoekonomik sahada yaşanan dönüşümden kariyer seçimi ve kariyer planlama davranışları da etkilenmektedir. Kariyerin çok yönlü bir kavram olması ve kariyer seçimini etkileyen içsel ve dışsal pek çok unsurun varlığı alan yazınına pek çok kariyer seçim kuramı ve sınıflandırması kazandırmıştır. Alan yazınında yer alan psikodinamik yaklaşımlar, özellik-faktör yaklaşımları, gelişimsel yaklaşımlar ve sosyo-bilişsel yaklaşımların yanı sıra son yıllarda kariyer seçiminde manevi yaklaşımlar öne çıkmakla birlikte bu sahada çalışmalar halen yeterli seviyeye ulaşmamıştır. Bu araştırmanın amacı kariyer seçimi ile ilgili çalışmalardaki manevi yaklaşım ile sosyal bilişsel yaklaşım modellerini bütüncül bir bakış açısıyla değerlendirmektir. Bu maksatla araştırmada, betimsel araştırma yöntemi ile manevi yaklaşımlar ile 1990'lı yılların "Sosyal Öğrenme (Krumboltz vd., 1976), "Bilgi İşleme (Peterson vd., 2002)" ve Sosyal Bilişsel Kariyer (Lent vd., 1994) yaklaşımları bütüncül bir yaklaşımla incelenerek birlikte değerlendirilmiştir. Manevi yaklaşımlar çalışma hayatına; sadece sıradan, mecburi gündelik mesleki faaliyetlerini yerine getirmekten çok daha öte manevi ve derinlikli anlamlar yüklemektedir. Sosyal-bilişsel yaklaşımlar ise kariyer seçimini, bilgi toplama, bilgileri analiz etme, yorumlama, alternatifler arasında değerlendirme ve eylem planı ile planın uygulanması şeklinde sistematik olarak ele almaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda kariyer seçiminde manevi yaklaşımlar ile sosyal-bilişsel kariyer yaklaşımlarının optimal kariyer seçimi yapma konusunda birbirlerini tamamlayıcı özelliklere sahip olduğu değerlendirilmiştir.

Career choice and career planning behaviors are also affected by the transformation in the socioeconomic field with developments such as developments in information communication technologies, globalization and the opening of socio-cultural distance between generations. The fact that career is a versatile concept and the existence of many internal and external factors that affect career choice have brought many career choice theories and classifications to the literature. In addition to psychodynamic approaches, feature-factor approaches, developmental approaches and socio-cognitive approaches in the literature, spiritual approaches are among career choice theories in recent years, but studies in this field have not reached a sufficient level. The aim of this study is to evaluate the spiritual approach and social cognitive approach models in career choice studies from a holistic perspective. In the study conducted with descriptive research technique, spiritual approaches, “Social Learning Theory, (Krumboltz, 1976)”, "Cognitive Information Processing (Peterson et al., 2002)" and Social Cognitive Career (Lent et al., 1994) approaches were examined and evaluated with a holistic approach. Spiritual approaches to working life; it imparts spiritual and profound meanings far beyond simply fulfilling ordinary, compulsory daily professional activities. Social-cognitive approaches systematically address career choice in the form of collecting information, analyzing and interpreting information, evaluating among alternatives and preparing an action plan and implementation of the plan. As a result of the research, it was evaluated that spiritual approaches and social-cognitive career approaches in career choice complement each other in making an optimal career choice.

Kentlerin tarihsel gelişim süreci incelendiğinde üretim biçimleri kentlerin sosyal, ekonomik ve mekânsal yapısının oluşmasında belirleyici olmuştur. Kentlerin alışagelmiş fiziki yapıları ve yetersizlikleri, tarihsel
gelişim sürecinde ideal kente ulaşmada ütopik sayılabilecek yaklaşımların ortaya çıkmasına yol açmıştır. Özellikle bu durum 19. Yüzyılın sonlarında başlayarak 20. yüzyılın başlarından itibaren kendini önemli ölçüde hissettirmiş ve sanayileşme süreciyle hızlı bir boyut kazanmıştır. Sanayi devrimiyle; kentler verimli, hızlı tempolu bir makine olarak ele alınmış ve sanayileşmiş, mekanikleşmiş, büyük gökdelenlerin, görkemli çok katlı yolların, köprülerin bulunduğu alanlar olarak tasarlamışlardır. Yeni üretim teknikleri ve ekonomik gelişmeler sanayi devrimi ile kentler yeni bir aşamaya geçmiştir. Akıllı Kent stratejileri, farklı aktörlerle etkileşim kurma, kaynakları yönetme ve hizmet sunma gibi inovatif çözümler aramakta ve bulmaktadır.

APandemi COVID-19 di Indonesia merupakan situasi yang membuat banyak pihak mengalami kerugian, baik di tingkat individu hingga tingkat negara sekalipun. Ada banyak sektor-sektor yang terdampak, khususnya sektor publik sebagai sarana yang mendukung aktivitas masyarakat. Penurunan sektor tersebut terjadi karena adanya pembatasan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah guna menekan angka persebaran COVID-19. Sisi positif dari keadaan yang ada lantas dapat dihubungkan dengan percepatan society 5.0 yang berbasis pada impelementasi digital dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Lantas, perlu adanya gaya kepemimpinan yang dapat mengakomodasikan kondisi pandemi dengan society 5.0 untuk dapat memulihkan kembali sektor publik sebagai sarana fasilitas masyarakat di Indonesia. Tulisan ini ditujukan untuk menganalisis model kepemimpinan yang cocok dalam mengatasi situasi ini. Metode kualitatif dengan memanfaatkan studi literatur menjadi dasar metodologi dari tulisan ini. Abstract:
The introduction of a new function into information and its use in the development of information and communication technologies is considered the beginning of a new era. With this age, information technologies have created their own culture and continue to af fect sociology. It is possible to say that with these developments, technological determinism is felt more than in the past. At this point, it is necessary to focus on the idea of "people-oriented technology" proposed by the Community 5.0 (Super Smart Community) Project. Because there is a conflict between the "value" produced by technology and social values. It is important to emphasize the concept of "value" in a society that will be reshaped within the scope of this project, in terms of how the "technological person" attributes to social values and to determine the direction of value transformation. The concern of the attitude of future individuals who meet all their needs as promised towards social issues is the subject of this study. The aim is to draw attention to the possible conflict between individuals and social values in the Community 5.0 project, which bears the prepared with a qualitative and theoretical method by scanning the literature data, reveals that the "technological person" will need to produce a "value" in terms of social meaning, and the promotion of economic welfare alone will not be sufficient for the maintenance of the social whole. The production of these two values together is important for both individual and social happiness.

Bilgiye yeni bir işlev yüklenerek, bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerinin geliştirilmesinde kullanması, yeni bir çağın başlangıcı sayılmaktadır. Bu gelişmelerle birlikte teknolojik determinizmin geçmiş zamanlara oranla daha fazla hissedildiğini söylemek mümkündür. Bu noktada Toplum 5.0 (Süper Akıllı Toplum) Projesi ile öne sürülen "insan odaklı teknoloji" fikrine odaklanmak gerekmektedir. Çünkü teknolojinin ürettiği "değer" ile toplumsal değerler arasında bir çakışma gözükmektedir. Bu proje kapsamında yeniden şekillendirilecek bir toplumda "değer" kavramının üzerinde durulması, "teknolojik insan"ın toplumsal değerlere nasıl bir anlam atfettiği ve değer transformasyonunun yönünün tespit edilmesi açısından önemlidir.
Vaad edildiği şekliyle tüm ihtiyaçlarını kendi karşılayan gelecekteki bireylerin, toplumsal meselelere karşı tutumuna dair endişe bu çalışmanın konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Amaç, “odağına insanı alarak geliştirilen ilk teknolojik toplum” iddiasını taşıyan Toplum 5.0 projesinde, bireylerle toplumsal değerler arasında yaşanabilecek muhtemel çatışmaya dikkat çekmektir. Literatür verisi taranarak, nitel ve teorik bir yöntemle hazırlanan bu çalışma, “teknolojik insan”ın toplumsal anlam bakımından bir "değer" üretimine ihtiyacı olacağını, toplumsal bütünün sürdürülmesi açısından ekonomik refahın yükseltilmesinin tek başına yeterli olmayacağını ortaya koymaktadır. Bu iki değerin bir arada üretiminin hem bireysel hem de toplumsal mutluluk açısından önem arz etmektedir.

Profesi akuntan syariah menghadapi banyak sekali tantangan pada era VUCA, yang merupakan sebuah era yang penuh dengan ketidakpastian dan hilangnya sekat-sekat yang ada dalam dunia usaha. Menjadi sebuah kewajiban bagi akuntan syariah untuk dapat menjawab seluruh tantangan yang ada hingga dapat terus memegang profesi akuntan dengan profesional dan tidak meninggalkan prinsip syariah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis literature review yang diambil dari berbagai sumber yang ada dan relevan dengan pembahasan penelitian. Dari hasil analisis yang dilakukan ditemukan hasil bahwa untuk menghadapi society 5.0 pada era vuca, ada beberapa strategi yang harus dilakukan oleh akuntan syariah. Pertama yaitu berpegang teguh pada prinsip-prinsip syariah, melakukan pengembangan dalam kecakapan digital, serta peka terhadap perkembangan teknologi. Berdasarkan pembahasan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa akuntan syariah memiliki peran yang sangat besar dalam menghadapi society 5.0 pada era VUCA yang bersifat strategis maupun konsultatif.

Senkronik ve diyakronik bağlamda insanın kültürel gelişimini belirleyen, toplum yaşamını değiştiren, dönüştüren temel unsurların başında teknoloji gelmektedir. Bu bakımdan insan ırkının tarih öncesi dönemlerinden günümüzün postmodern toplumlarına kadar tarihsel kronolojinin seyri içerisinde yaşanan bütün hadiseleri alet teknolojindeki keşifler nispetinde değerlendirmek gerekmektedir. Dolayısıyla toplumsal gelişimin ilk basamağı sayılan avcı toplayıcı başka bir ifadeyle Toplum 1.0 döneminden; insanların 'insanlaştırılmış robotlar' ve artırılmış gerçekliğe dayalı akıllı aygıtlarla aynı yaşamı paylaştıkları Toplum 5.0 dönemine kadar gelişen, dönüşen, değişen; beslenme, barınma, giyinme ihtiyaçları, aile ve akrabalık yapıları, inanç ekolojileri, doğum, evlenme ölüm ritüelleri, anlatı gelenekleri, müzik, eğlence, dans sanatları gibi geniş kapsamlı kültürel unsurların değişimini ve dönüşümünü teknoloji boyutuyla ele almak tasavvur etmek gerekmektedir.

The EU and Japan encounter similar challenges with an aging population, a low fertility rate, and an expensive welfare state. Japan has decided to trust in technology as a force not only to improve its economy but also to solve its social problems with Society 5.0. The EU also wants to reap the benefits of the data economy in the hope that it will provide it with competitive advantages.

There are several new tools for EU-Japan cooperation that can be employed for this purpose, such as the Economic and Strategic Partnership Agreements and adequacy decisions to allow the free flow of personal data between them. They can join forces in cybersecurity, connectivity, and artificial intelligence governance. The EU can be a key supporter of the initiatives sponsored by Japan in the G20, namely the Osaka Track and the G20 AI Principles. However, they must move on from a reactive to a strategic approach in order not to be left behind by competitors such as China and the US.
