PurposeCompanies must implement sustainability measures in order to survive due to the relationship between financial, social and environmental performances. These elements must be integrated into the business in a complementary manner in this regard. As a result, this study aims to investigate the effects of entrepreneurial leadership on sustainability, as well as financial and process innovation.Design/methodology/approachWithin the scope of the research, a survey was conducted with 295 white-collar employees working in energy companies. SPSS 25, the LISREL program, and SOBEL analysis were used to determine the relationships between the variables.FindingsIn the research, financial innovation perceptions and process innovation activities have a positive effect on business sustainability and entrepreneurial leadership. As both an independent and a mediating variable, entrepreneurial leadership has a positive impact on business sustainability.Research limitations/implicationsCompanies engaged in renewable energy production, operating in the Marmara region, constitute the sample mass. For this reason, it would be more accurate to evaluate the results obtained in this research only for companies producing renewable energy.Practical implicationsIt is concluded that energy companies should prioritize financial and process innovations and that entrepreneurial leadership is required to ensure the sector's long-term viability.Originality/valueThis paper is an innovative study in terms of the scope and content of the research as data are collected and analyzed from companies that produce renewable energy.

The acceleration of technological advances has significantly improved sectoral efficiency and provided service providers the opportunity to produce an unprecedented variety of products and services. As a result, more supply has started to form in a growing number of sectors than demand. As the liberalization rate in trade increased with the influence of global organizations such as the World Trade Organization and regional organizations such as the European Union, the brand addiction and product price differences decreased, and the logic of monopoly began to disappear with the effective competition of those who challenged the markets and leading organizations. For this reason, although the importance of strategy and innovation is emphasized in the study, it focuses on the strategic importance and technological innovation capabilities of innovation, and criticisms are made in terms of strategic management.

In today’s economic conditions, businesses face great challenges related to competitiveness. The effort to respond flexibly to the changing business environment and customers’ demands constantly puts pressure on innovation. For this reason, research purpose to examine the effects of learning capabilities and market orientation in logistics companies during the pandemic.
Design/methodology/approach:
In this research, a quantitative method was adopted and partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was applied. The research is based on four variables. A conceptual research model was established through literature review and the model was tested. Within the scope of this research, A sample of 544 participants was taken to construct and test the model, and a 39-statement scale was presented to them. After presenting the reliability and validity values on the model, hypotheses were tested. Analyses were conducted using Smart-PLS 3.3 software.
Findings:
As a result of the research conducted in logistics companies, the positive effects of learning orientation on performance outputs and the positive effects of market orientation as both a mediator and an independent variable show that these concepts are important for company management.
Research limitations/implications:
Considering the limitations of the research, it would be wrong to generalize the results of the analysis for different sectors because the data were collected from experts working in logistics companies. Therefore, it is necessary to make evaluations taking into account the limitations of the research. In future studies, it is recommended to make comparisons with research in different sectors, taking into account the limitations, and to enrich the literature with more research in this area.
Practical implications:
Because of the importance of logistics activities seen in all countries with the pandemic period, it can be explained as a result of the analyses that the performance outputs are positively affected by the learning orientation, the companies’ adaptation to continuous change and development and their emphasis on market orientation at the same time.
Originality/value:
The research is an original study as it analyzes the effects of learning orientations of logistics companies on the problems and opportunities experienced in the supply and distribution channel along with the pandemic process.

Many studies have proven that innovation performance is an important factor that increases corporate’s performance. In this context, companies need to be successful in innovation management, and they need to innovate. The technological turbulence that may occur in the sector where the companies are located will affect the innovation performance negatively if the companies fail to manage innovation. As a result of factors such as increasing competitive pressure with globalization, the elimination of time and space obstacles of technology, expanding purchasing alternatives, and increasing awareness levels, the newest products bring the highest revenues. These developments have led to a dramatic increase in the importance of developing new products as a competitive weapon, making product innovation an important element of the organizational strategy. Therefore, innovation strategies to be implemented and dynamic skills that are owned are needed to be managed correctly by companies. In this study, innovation management, technological turbulence, innovation strategies, and dynamic capabilities are examined.

Business ethics is a scientific discipline that analyzes and explains norms and values that guide the business world. When the books and academic researches about business ethics are examined, it is understood that interest in business ethics has started to increase. Among the most important reasons for business interest, ethics is the impact of economic development and globalization. The story of the economy and the adaptation to the global market with each passing day has brought unethical practices to the agenda. It is considered that models that improve the decision-making mechanisms of managers against corrupt practices are deemed necessary. In the study, many studies have been cited as references to explain business ethics' individual and organizational factors. The ever-increasing performance of corporations is evidenced by the leadership roles of top managers and the applied human resources policies. The dissatisfaction experienced by the employees in the institutions, the attitudes and behaviors of the leaders on the employees, and also the life of the institutions. At the same time, the increase in the employment turnover rate in institutions can lead to a decrease in the performance of the institution, can bring out the cost factor and cause the training given to the employees to be inconclusive. It is important that senior management should make contributions to the decisions and leadership roles that will be made by the senior management. The sample of the study constitutes 323 white-collar workers in the private and public sector in Central Anatolia. After the factorial and reliability analyzes were performed in the bulldular IBM SPSS 23 program, hypotheses were tested and analyzed by regression analysis.

To provide a better and happier society, the framework of certain principles and the history of the concept of ethics aims to direct the people's behaviours constituting that society. The first known philosophers discussed the concept of ethics at that time. The continuation of discussions about ethics to the present day shows that the importance of the image in human life has never changed and has not lost its actuality. In fact, it isn't easy to show a specific and bordered area of business ethics. In this case, it is possible to narrow the definition of business ethics by excluding some important elements or extending it to a wide area that is completely encompassing. In this study, the historical importance of business ethics and human resources are evaluated.

E-commerce brings companies and customers together in an exchange market environment, beyond any physical, cultural, and legal boundaries, and on an unimaginable scale, which was considered to be technically impossible before. The companies' online facilities have been improved and become accessible to everyone through smart phones, tablets, etc. as the web pages and social networks started to direct individuals towards e-commerce. E-commerce not only raises economic concerns related to competition and pricing, but also reveals new social and environmental threats that can be quite widespread and viral. Several studies have been conducted to examine the transformation of traditional business models into e-businesses, the impact of e-commerce businesses on traditional business activities, or opportunities brought by technological innovations. For this reason, the effects of the competitive strategies will be explained in terms of ensuring sustainable competitive advantage within e-commerce companies.

Logistics companies played a vital role in the supply and distribution of products in a timely and effective manner during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research sought to know how financial authorities in these companies managed the financial process and how they approached resolving issues due to the economic and financial problems experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic. Using data from 30 experts from the accounting-finance departments of logistics companies, we found that the COVID-19 pandemic caused a decrease in revenues of the logistics companies in Turkey and increased demands for loan payments before their maturity date. According to this study, the most important factors affecting logistics companies during this health crisis were unpredictable changes in exchange rates, currency depreciation (Turkish lira), and increased rental fees. Through this research, we learned how the economic and financial problems experienced by logistics companies were managed by financial experts during the COVID-19 pandemic.

PurposeThe purpose of this study is to examine the effects of production capabilities, competition intensity and marketing and sales capabilities on the export and production performances of textile companies engaged in export-oriented production return to normal life from the pandemic.Design/methodology/approachWithin the scope of the research, a sample of 683 white-collar expert participants was taken and a scale consisting of 29 statements in total was presented to them. The structural equation modeling (SEM) model was analyzed with the study SmartPLS. At the first stage, the relations between the scale expressions and the variables were given with factor loads and weights, validity/reliability analyzes were made for the model, and finally, the research model was tested.FindingsAs a result of the analysis in the research, it can be explained that the production capabilities and marketing and sales capabilities are important for the performance of the companies, at the same time the intensity of competition keeps the companies in a dynamic structure and the intensity of competition is also important for the companies to develop themselves.Research limitations/implicationsConsidering the limitations of the research, data were collected from white-collar employees working in export-oriented textile companies in Istanbul. Because in order to answer the questions about the variables representing the research model, expert and authorized employees were required.Practical implicationsIt can be explained that the performance of companies in the production sector is positively affected if they discover opportunities in risky environments so that they can gain an advantageous position over their competitors in an intense competitive environment. Because it can be assumed as a result of the analysis that textile companies want to evaluate the opportunities in the competitive environment by using their production, marketing and sales abilities during the pandemic process.Originality/valueThe research is unique in that it sets an example for future studies by examining the effects of production capabilities, competitive intensity and marketing and sales capabilities, which are likely to affect the performance of textile companies in the return of normal life from pandemic conditions.

Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the relationship of the organization and whether employees in the companies operating in the textile sector receive leadership support when they experience depression.
Design/methodology/approach
Data were obtained from personnel working in textile companies in organized industrial zones located within five provinces: Istanbul, Ankara, Bursa, Izmir and Antalya (defined as industrial cities of Turkey). The reason for choosing these companies was related to the question of whether the mental state of the personnel may have had an impact on the success of the company, especially as the textile industry works with more manpower and knowledge due to the nature of the job. The moderation relationship of leadership support to the relationship of this situation on organizational culture and organizational commitment was analyzed using the SmartPLS program.
Findings
As a result of the analyzes, it was determined that the depression of the employees weakens the organizational commitment, thereby leading to a negative relationship within the organizational culture. But, with leadership support, the organizational commitment increases and the organizational culture is positively affected.
Research limitations/implications
As the research was conducted in companies in the textile sector in Istanbul, this limitation should be taken into account in future research. In addition, as data is collected from white-collar employees in the administrative staff position (the sample group), this situation should also be taken into account. Considering the questions asked in the questionnaire, it is recommended that future research be conducted on blue-collar workers.
Practical implications
It can be concluded that the leadership role is an important factor for organizations to prevent employees from being depressed and employees should receive positive support to ensure organizational commitment. At the same time, it can be concluded that the organizational culture is positively affected if the depression of the employees has decreased.
Originality/value
The research is an original study in terms of investigating the relationship of depression status to the leadership support of employees working in textile companies in an environment where competition is consistently intense.

For the research, data were collected from senior managers working in jointly established export-oriented ventures. The reason for choosing these initiatives is to examine whether partnership capabilities and entrepreneurial orientations' effects on export performance and innovation performance are successful in ventures established with export-oriented partnerships. Since the research is conducted in organizational areas where export-oriented enterprises are concentrated, it is an innovative study, and at the same time, the sample group of the research consists of ventures established in partnership. Data were collected from 601 senior employees for modeling and testing, and the lists registered with technoparks, entrepreneur associations, and entrepreneur foundations in Istanbul/Turkey were used. SmartPLS 3.3.5 was used for analysis. As a result of the data analysis in the research, it can be explained that both partnership abilities and entrepreneurial orientations positively affect export and innovation performances. These results show how important talents are in export-oriented ventures established in partnership. When the limitations of the research are evaluated, it will not be correct to generalize the research results since the data obtained from the enterprises registered to technoparks, entrepreneur associations, and entrepreneurial foundations operating in Istanbul represent a specific region. For this reason, it is recommended that the results obtained in this study should be evaluated only according to the sample group, and this situation should be taken into account in future studies.

Stakeholder management and competitive strategy concepts are very important for a company’s position and its corporate structure and for understanding which sectors or customer groups have an effect on business, how the company can be successful and whether the company can respond to the demands and needs of stakeholders. In the traditional view, stakeholders include employees, shareholders, suppliers and customers; however, the society, nongovernmental organizations, governments and media also have a significant impact on business. Therefore, stakeholders have been examined as internal and external ones. To achieve sustainability for their business, companies should strategically analyze and evaluate the stakeholders, who are at the core of their activities and fulfill their necessary responsibilities. This study illustrates the performance results of the stakeholder management theory analyses and competitive strategy on globalization: (i) the stakeholders and competitive strategy of the companies suitable for their employees and management team’s expectations; (ii) determining how to meet the expectations of stakeholders; (iii) relations between stakeholders and business performance; and (iv) finally, relationships with stakeholders, the strategies for managing stakeholders, and the relationship between the business performance and stakeholders.
