Farming potential of the most popular edible terre strial snails, it was investigated within the context of efficient agricultural land u se of for maximum animal protein production. The stress induced by climate changes upon the snail's development is a considering factor, therefore snails are tested for fitness. Sel-Plex TM is used as concentrated forage additive in both 20 09 and 2010 experiments involving Cornu aspersum ( Helix aspersa Muller) and Helix pomatia edible terrestrial snails. Young snails of 4-7 days were tested for cr awling speed as fitness component, an expression of vitality and resistance during prolonged heat waves and drought season. Using proper white led based cold lighting sources and high definition highly se nsitive video recording equipment snail's activity has been recorded. European Union must improve its aim on energy first of all by reducing consumption and by producing more renewable energy; definitely not by exploiting shale gas. The technology is at a point where it's in excess and often misused (i.e. destruction, arms, cold war, luxury, etc.). The "SOCIAL OBESITY", a terminology that I introduce and I have to use it way too often unfortunately, it emphasizes the abuses that endanger the overall "social metabolism" not only in Europe and United States of America but worldwide; it spreads out rapidly in the process of democratic and economic globalization. The SOCIAL OBESITY is one of the externalizations of excessive consumption inducing a fake economic growth sensation where the economic engineering plays a major role, fake growth since actually it is self destructive in the light of consistent environmental degradation, the overall Earth's Health.

In essence we all share one planet, breath one air, and live under one sun. We are a global species, therefore the globalization process it's as natural as the planet Earth can be. Terrestrial edible snail breeding is an agricultural activity that finds itself at pioneering stage in Romania. One of the species used in snail farming is Helix aspersa Muller. In order to accelerate their growth, farmers feed the snails with pumpkins as well as concentrated forage consisting of mix of flours to which calcium carbonate is added in order to supplement snails need for shell's development. In a controlled microclimate environment we measured the average growth of six weeks old Helix aspersa Muller snails placed in four different plastic enclosures. The consumption of different type of foods within 24 hours period was measured. The wheat (60%), corn flour (20%) and calcium carbonate (20%) mix had a superior food conversion ratio (FCR) of 4.80, whereas the second FCR registered 6.04 in the case of 53% pumpkin and 47% flour mix served in the same time followed by the pure fresh vegetable mix accounting for a FCR of 8.00 and by 19.02 when only the pumpkin has been adm...

SUMMARY The health of population depends largel y upon the quality, nutritional values, food’s hygiene and its safety. Among many agroproducts, edible terrestrial snails are a real ecol ogical and silent animal protein production machines. While deliverin g many other nutrients such as vitamins and minerals, snails can also deliver toxic chemicals. The origin of agro-food starts from soil . Traceability can be assured by maintaining a record of the chemical testing results associated with GPS data. ESTE IMPERATIV NECESARĂ ȘI URGENTA STABILIREA UNUI ETALON AL BANULUI – UN SISTEM DE REFERINȚĂ MONETAR, DE CUANTIFICARE A ECONOMIEI BAZATE PE VALORI REALE
Sistemul economic clasic funcționează într-o buimăceală totală, specialiști dau dintr-un colț în altul folosind modele matematice și date statistice, observând trenduri și făcând pronosticuri, recurgând în final la diferite tatonări și mașinații care mai mult sau mai puțin întâmplător obțin sau nu ceva rezultate. Dorința de avuție bâjbâie de fapt într-un climat parțial luminat de o sursă artificial improvizată. Îmi permit aici în mod public să avertizez: Fără introducerea unui sistem de referință monetar, fără stabilirea unor metode de tranziție treptată către economia naturală nu va  fi posibilă redresarea economică pe termen lung decât mici amăgiri de moment și eventual la nivel regional.
Activitatea umană, pentru a fi sustenabilă trebuie să indeplinească un rol și să urmărească un scop, ambele foarte bine definite. În speranța că acest mesaj către dumneavoastră să fie cât mai convingător, aici pe scurt imi permit să definesc  rolul și scopul: “Din viață, cu viață, pentru viață”. Una dintre indeletnicirile care au condus către un dezechilibru economic constă în actul speculei. O dată ce speculația  a intrat în joc, banii (valori virtuale, fară etalon, produsul unei tipografii) ușor obținuți au fost oferiți ușor pentru bunuri și resurse, astfel prețul acestora din urmă crescând a îndepărtat accesul altora care nu au intrat în jocul speculei.
Aurul precum și alte metale așa zis prețioase reprezintă marfă de speculă. Este „speculat” faptul că aurul este perceput ca valoare. Aurul nu produce decât necazuri iar istoria ne povestește.
Adevăratul „aur”, adevăratele resurse naturale sunt oamenii și mediul ce susține viața acestora. Investește în viitor, în oameni, adevăratul „aur” care se multiplică singur. Potențialul agricol al României deasemenea nu este de neglijat.
România invită și are porțile deschise investițiilor străine, adevărate investiții, în procesul Globalizării depășind astfel cadrul frontierelor artifcial create de om.

Abstract

We explored differences in metabolic rates of the introduced snail Cornu aspersum collected from three distant coastal locations across a 1300 km latitudinal range in Chile and raised under common-garden conditions. We measured two proxies of metabolic rate: heart rate (fH) and CO2 production (standard metabolic rate, SMR) in a flow-through respirometry system. Although both variables were significantly correlated (r2 = 0.49), suggesting that fH could be a predictor of SMR, the relationship between fH and SMR and also the CO2 pulse (SMR/fH) varied across populations. Whereas SMR suggested an increase in energy metabolism towards high latitudes, supporting metabolic cold adaptation, fH indicated no trend (northern and southern populations exhibited the largest values). Our results suggest that, in invertebrates, energy metabolism cannot be inferred from heart rate. Our results show metabolic differentiation towards increased metabolic heat production in the southern location, warranting further analyses of functional differentiation in these introduced populations.

Introduction.
Ecological issues should not be separated from economic issues or from public health concerns as they correlate. The global crises have their beginnings back in the history of mankind. Lately they are acutely identified and discussed as our natural resources are depleting visibly. Furthermore, the strong polarization of wealth, abusive exploitation of natural resources and excessive material accumulation do not just hinder the free economic flow, but are also unethical. It conducts to social segregation and conflicts; the expanding “occupy movement” is just one of the latest examples. With this paper, I am also calling for an urgent and closer look at Human Rights principles. Human Rights need to be a section of a future Universal Declaration of Natural Rights.
This paper (as part 1) is an attempt to address several interconnected issues in a fashion such as an overture to an upcoming series of work (work is in progress) with the belief that readers have a fairly strong natural inducement to co-operate [20] with the author in order to build and consolidate the proposed model, the presently included applications and the upcoming ones as well.
Fighting Nature is a historical human endeavor for which we just recently started to see the beginning of its outcome. Public health, ecological systems and global economics, being intimately interconnected, undergo a cycle of crises that I take the freedom to call “The Bermuda Triangle of Human Endeavors”. Planet Earth offers us as Humanity the means to support our very material existence. Health and ecology together are the primary life supporting elements that form the structures of a sustainable social and economic development.
Deprivation of proper living conditions represents an acute denial of Human Rights. No one has the right to deprive others from the inherited Natural Rights, the rights to exist. The economic principles need to be brought up to date and restructured such as to observe the non-monetary values going beyond Human Rights. For the economic system to be sustainable it needs to use a currency that has a sustainable etalon as reference. Life Equivalent Etalons (LEE) can assure economic and international stability as they are fixed and indispensable.
Each one of us is responsible for the global economy as it is an expression of human endeavor and its dynamics, more so in the context of globalization. I’ll tailor my work in a way to make it accessible to most people. It does not matter how good are whatever ideas one may have if they are not well understood by the intended audience, in this particular case, Humanity at large.The M.A.Sholokhov Moscow State University of Humanities is a great place to present this paper addressing ecological issues; such subjects are only about Humanity and concerns Humanity at large. Primary conclusions – Life’s properties and limitations
1) Acute and severely disastrous possible outcomes are due, a total collapse of the system is expected if one living entity is lowering its entropy (increasing anti-entropy) and comes too close to exhausting its own life support, regardless of the energy that may be available. Outgrowing life’s support capacity induces the destruction of the entire system, its entire collapse to decay possibly into lifeless while keeping the energy tightly locked into a stinky slime form of existence.
2) If our planet was to be populated only by forests and plants, cyanobacteria and green algae, Earth could have exhausted its life support and its destiny would have been limited to a continuous energy and structural accumulation up to the point when a total decay would have follow, perhaps a slimy world. Strange as it may appear my statement, we’ve seen in the above experimental example that as long as there are living entities consuming oxygen, ready synthesized sugars and proteins, having CO2 as waste on which the plants can feed on, the cycle of life can continue as long as the relative organizational equilibrium is being kept to a sustainable level or why not a sustainable rapport as represented by TEKT.
3) Based on the above, the biological classifications are forming two major groups:
a) The self-sustaining, food independent living entities (i.e. cyanobacteria, plantae),
b) The by-sustaining, food dependent living entities (i.e. animalia, etc.)
4) Thermodynamically, utilization of energy is not a mere “emerging property” of life, it is Life itself. Utilization of energy by living forms of existence is a self organizing and a conducting mechanism that “knows” to use energy efficiently. It knows when and how to accumulate the dissipated free energy, to “pump it” in the re-assembled structures. It concentrates energy reserves; it creates protective resistant ergonomic structures. The Life forms of material existence have as main property (as opposed to emerging property) the thermo-dynamical ability to act as heat energy pumps; Life forms of material existence are structures of concentrated energy ready to be used. A small seed has the ability to act as a heat energy pump concentrating dissipated free energy into a chemical structure with energy ready to use (i.e. burning wood producing heat).
5) The minerals and vitamins play a key roll in the kinematics of the Life phenomena, the energy, the dynamics of it, but the mother of all dynamics is the mystery of Life, the low entropy or high anti-entropy of information encoded in the DNA folds confers the ability to use and further concentrate more energy into a structural body, into the high anti-entropy of the newly grown living entity, the plants, the trees with their fruits and byproducts holding enormous incorporated energy as well. The high anti-entropy of information has the ability to concentrate low negentropy (high entropy) into high anti-entropy, ready to use concentrated forms of energy, a real gift of Life.
The ability to self-acquiring, holding, using and transmitting information we can also identify it as being a main property of Life.

Abstract:
Many perennial plants are often huge biomass producers capable of capturing the solar energy and producing valuable nutrients, plants that represent food source for many herbivores. Some plants have toxic properties to some animal species whereas to others they represent a priority in herbivore’s diet. We investigated the influence of Armoracia rusticana and Symphytum officinale upon the development of one of the most farmed and consumed terrestrial snails Helix aspersa Muller (Cornu aspersum), an excellent animal protein source for humans. The experiments took place in town of Băişoara, Cluj County, Romania in the June – August 2010 interval. The adult Helix aspersa Muller snail populations in the witness lots display a survival mean rate under extreme heat wave and drought conditions of just 6.50 ± 1.29 while the population in the experimental lots with Armoracia rusticana and Symphytum officinale presented higher survival mean rate of 14.00 ±0.82 and 16.75 ±1.50 respectively. As far as prolificacy, the witness enclosure batches accounted for 100 ±5.72 while the batches in experimental enclosures accounted for 248.00 ±8.29 and 140.00 ±5.10 respectively. We included the fitness component test, as an indicative of snail’s vitality and energetic condition, measuring their crawling mean speed and the mean heart bit rate of new born baby snails that have similar body weights. While the heart bit rate differences between the different batches were not significant, the mean speed presented significant differences directing us to the conclusion that plants such as Armoracia rusticana and Symphytum officinale not only represent valuable nutritive foods to Helix aspersa Muller adults and youngsters but also have protective values against stress conditions such as severe drought and prolonged heat waves. Such plants can represent an additional assurance for an efficient and ecological snail farming technology as an important source of quality animal protein for human consumption, capable to deliver a high quantity of animal protein from a given land surface, representing a venue towards sustainable agro-economical development.

One of the most acute problems the humanity is confronting with in the light of Global warming is the availability of food to the ever-growing population. Quality foods respecting the food hygiene and offering the proper nutrients are becoming a scarce commodity. Considering the ecological impact that the agro-food production sector has upon the carbon footprint, we investigated the potential that farming of edible terrestrial snail Helix pomatia and Helix aspersa Muller (Cornu aspersum) can provide humanity the necessary animal protein while reducing the need for energy input. Observing the feeding behavior of snails preferred perennial plants were identified. From those plants we selected the species with the highest productivity of biomass and the most resistant to extreme conditions without the need for energy and human resources input to maintain them. Snail’s development, survival rate, prolificacy, meat quality and resistance during stress conditions such as hibernation and aestivation were measured while and after being exposed to different feeding conditions and extreme climate conditions such as high air temperature and draught. Temperatures such as 320 C – 370 C were frequent and lasting for long periods during the 91 days of the experiments that were conducted from month of June to August 2010 in the town of Crăieşti, Cluj County, Romania. Considering the fact that for Helix (sp) the edible part of the plants represents the leaves, the availability lipids and organic nitrogen expressed here as crude protein content in the leaves of seven different perennial plants have been determined. Alternative animal protein production can be integral part of a Global strategy as to implement the real value and non-monetary value concepts as basic reference to be the Global economy; a strategy that is aimed to provide non-monetary economical means for survival of human species while protecting the environment and sustaining overall life on Earth. The article presents just an aspect of an agricultural activity and it is intended to be viewed also as a brief and provoking model concept of efficient alternative means for producing food of the highest quality while using the natural resources at their potential without disrupting the ecosystems. Proper natural resources management makes the foundation of sustainable agro-economic development.

A novel method it was conceived as to quickly inhibit snails’ nervous system in order to reduce pain and suffering and to facilitate the complete meat removal from the shell, Fig.1. The snails have been introduced into a microwave oven Vortex R, model WD800L20-8, capable to generate 800W of microwave power at 2450 MHz frequency. Using the oven set on medium by trial and error the optimum times for snails’ slaughter was found, Fig.2.  The snails’ nervous system is being inhibited within the first 2-3 seconds of exposure to microwave, as they did not respond to tactile touches using sharp needles. The nervous system is being affected by the change in temperature as well by the non-thermal effects,, also states in their work Orendacova et all, (2007). },

Farming potential of the most popular edible terrestrial snails, it was investigated within the context of efficient agricultural land use of for maximum animal protein production. The stress induced by climate changes upon the snail’s development is a considering factor, therefore snails are tested for fitness. Sel-PlexTM is used as concentrated forage additive in both 2009 and 2010 experiments involving Cornu aspersum (Helix aspersa Muller) and Helix pomatia edible terrestrial snails. Young snails of 4-7 days were tested for crawling speed as fitness component, an expression of vitality and resistance during prolonged heat waves and drought season. Using proper white led based cold lighting sources and high definition highly sensitive video recording equipment snail’s activity has been recorded. Snails crawling on graded paper allowed for measuring their speed. Seeing thru the snail’s shell due to proper light positioning, heartbeat was counted as well during the crawling. While the heartbeat rate of the snails is relatively high on all snail batches, respectively 97-102 bpm (bits per minute) due to the high temperature, the snails fed with Sel-PlexTM 0.10% have the highest speed, namely 1.5694±0.0504 mm/s followed by the snails fed with Sel-PlexTM 0.04%, averaging 1.4403±0.0323 mm/s respectively. The paper introduces for the first time the concept of “Gain to the Proposed Norm” (GPN), presented as a development indicative, a progress indices towards meeting a predetermined goal target. The yield upon slaughter is a factor that plays a major roll as to recommend Cornu aspersum species for farming as opposed to its counterpart Helix pomatia.},

The article is in Romanian language and it marks the beginning of Stop Smoking campaign within the University campuses in Romania, starting with the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca. It encourages students and professors to stop smoking on the campus and anywhere. The essential purpose of an educational institution, of a university is to prepare professionals. USAMV Cluj-Napoca being a Life Sciences University has a more accentuated obligation not to only research Life Sciences but also to protect Human Life and its Human Condition. Healthy professionals are a better, sustainable investment. Stopping smoking assures public health, reduces public expenditures and wasted natural resources. Therefore, smoking has a huge negative impact upon the Global Ecological and Economical problems given the inter-dependence of resources and of the negative outcomes of tobacco consumption. The article is also an invitation to observe 31-st of May as the „Make Every Day World No Tobacco Day” initiated recently by the World Health Organization (WHO). The article calls for initiating in Romania such campaign and the 31-st of May to be a day to celebrate the success. Lots of resistance / opposition / arguments have been met from the newspaper’s staff in order to have the article published in the USAMV Newsletter. It was called as being a campaign and the paper’s policy does not support any campaign and concentrates on informative articles. Ironically, on the cover of the same paper (issue nr. 21, February 2011) the administration published a campaign for „Mărţişor”. Several other conflicting and non-sense arguments were sent to me. To mention sadly, it is very difficult to lunch an initiative in Romania. The article in essence, using Romanian language says: Recent, Organizaţia Mondială a Sănătăţii (WHO),  a declarat 31 Mai a fi ziua Mondială împotriva fumatului. Numită „FĂ FIECARE ZI  ZIUA MONDIALĂ FĂRĂ TUTUN,.”  USAMV Cluj-Napoca poate pre-întâmpina ziua de 31 mai dând un exemplu în rândul universităţilor din România.

Problems: the complex side effects of the human mind.

Humanity has the gift of higher intelligence, the “engine” capable of deciding creatively how to use the energy to transform the materials provided by our planet into useful aggregates. Empowered with such capacity, humanity started to impose itself upon nature on Earth and soon enough extending out in space. The human mind with its cognitive ability is outstanding and often really strange; being the cause for its free will decisions it designs its own fate. The brain is using valuable energy while producing byproducts, but the human mind mirrored by its intelligence acts as a force of its own; a form of potential energy expressed by powerful determinant decisions completing / filtering during thinking process its impulsive tendencies.

Capable of great discoveries and expressive artworks, the human mind evolutes towards a better understanding but in tandem, it “involutes into a package deal” as I call it with all the confidence. It is a “package deal” that incorporates (just to name a few) hatred, revenge, lust, greed and envy, so I prefer to be nice and classify them as “complex side effects of our human mind” mirrored by intelligence and expressed by the free will, expression directly and greatly dependent upon the quality of education and mental health status. It is an Earth pounding process that consequently it lost control; just like in the case of dynamite. Is this perhaps just an expression of a generalized mental health condition or constitutes a “must be” evolutionary status where not all the players reach a happy ending? What about then the decision of a human mind directly participating in a free will process upon another human mind that is not participating not even as a spectator but rather randomly is getting involved? Is this still a “must be” evolutionary process? My mind does not allow me to subscribe to such possible point of view. The human mind’s purpose is to serve humanity. Is the humanity being served by self destruction?

The enemy of this planet as well as its well being is not the human as body and flesh, or his actions alone, but rather its driving force, the mighty human mind, driving force triggered by impulses balanced and controlled by the human values achieved thru education and life experience. Such balance and control of our impulsive tendencies is a quality that supposes to make us a superior species. Humans became ecologically dominant, their own main hostile force of nature. Again, is this part of an evolutionary process? If it is, then our debates around the problems with the proposed solutions in literature and conferences are welcomed, therefore our common intelligence will prevail (I like to believe) as being lucrative and doing its job completely in the evolutionary process, at least from the human aspect. Just talking will not do it, taking action is the key. The challenges imposed by fellow humans in social circumstances had a higher impact upon the evolution of human intellect then food shortages, parasites, weather or predators says Alexander (1990a pp. 4-7) cited by Flinn et al. (2005) [4]. Well than! – Here I am, challenging you from my human position; I hardly can wait to see the impact, perhaps a positive one and during my life time.


The human mind is at the center of the ecological and global economic crises; the common cause.
Material goods can’t be created out of nothing; they are very limited at the ecosystem level. The excessive consumer behavior that demands excessive transformation of mater and energy consumption, in the light of a continuously increasing global population, conducts to the ecological and economical crises that work in tandem in a synergetic fashion at the global level (Fig.1). Higher birth rate predominantly among poor and lower educated populations, conducts to sub-nutrition, lower educated and neglected children, higher crime rate, higher public health risks and costs with its corresponding carbon dioxide foot-print. The outcome that we are witnessing as becoming visibly more severe within the past few years, continuously devastates forests, agricultural land, commercial and residential properties, furthermore resulting to economic crises.

Conclusions

The Human mind being at the center of all of our enterprises is responsible for all the past and future great discoveries, beneficial or detrimental for the Earth (and beyond). The future of our World, of our planet, is not in our hands but rather in our minds; therefore all of us need to take responsibility for our actions. It is already late, but not too late to take action as of yet. We can’t expect immediate positive results but a bit of something is infinite much more than nothing at all.

I invite all Organizations in the World, all States and Governments with their Leaders, all human beings (regardless of their political or religious orientations and believes) to participate in a joint effort to fight the causes of our self destruction, of everything that is called to be alive.

I invite all of you to jointly terror humanity’s most vivid common enemies such as deadly viruses, pathologic bacteria, climate change effects, excessive carbon dioxide output, the generation of toxic materials, defeat the asteroid treats (since we have enough nuclear weapons), defeat the human mind treats of self-neglect.

There is room to find intrinsic goods and richness for all of us, for our children and for the not yet borne humans, the happiness and love by nurturing the most important natural resource, the human mind, potentially our life time best friend and our potentially past biggest enemy.

There will always be resistance to any ideas. I used to say that “offering light to the blind is a total waste” but nobody stops me to offer a helping guiding hand. There is always a possibility as long as there is the desire to do, the free will that does not act as randomly as we would like to find as an excuse away from the responsibility to act upon a great cause.

If we really have the strong desire to make a change we will all succeed and perhaps one day we will meet inside each one of us that human communist in the heart, the competitive hard worker capitalist inclined towards a religious spirit of forgiveness, and a socialist helping hand, having a liberal expressive attitude of a responsible human being with a lovely friendly conduct. We all can share this World instead of being the owners of nothingness.

OBEZITATEA
Obezitatea - este o conditie in care excesul de grasime corporala depaseste nivelele normale. Aceasta conditie afecteaza sanatatea individului precum si bunastarea acestuia in general, considerată în ultimii ani ca o boala ce a atins proporţii epidemice. Experţii Organizaţiei Mondiale a Sănătăţii recomandă doi parametrii pentru măsurarea excesului ponderal: indicele de masă corporală şi circumferinţa abdominală. Prin aceşti parametri obezitatea se defineşte dacă: Indicele Masei Corporale este mai mare sau egal cu 30 kg/m2, respectiv Circumferinţa Abdominală este mai mare sau egala cu 94 cm la bărbaţi şi 80 cm la femei. Indicele masei corporale este raportul dintre greutatea in kilograme si patratul inaltimii in metri a unui individ. Astfel, o persoana avind greutatea de 70 kg si inaltimea de 1m si 75 cm va avea un indice de 22,9. Conform studiilor efectuate de experţii OMS şi prezentate în acest tabel, un indice de masă corporală de 22,9 se situează în limite normale. Obesitatea este considerată o importantă problemă de sănătate publică datorită impactului asupra unui individ sau popor, la care se adaugă impactul socio-economic şi cultural. Aceasta înseamnă reducerea calităţii vieţii şi a speranţei de sănătate şi viaţă. Obezitatea este un factor de risc pentru diabetul zaharat, hipertensiune, dislipidemie, boli cardiovasculare, steatoză hepatică, cît şi unele forme de cancer. Situaţia pe plan mondial este reflectată în urma statisticilor şi a datelor oferite de Organizaţia Mondială a Sănătăţii. Pe această hartă culorile mai inchise reflectă o concentraţie de 40 % sau mai mare a persoanelor adulte pre-obeze ceea ce clasifică Romania a avea între 30-40% din populaţie pre-obeză. O altă hartă elaborată de experţii OMS ne prezintă următoarele distribuţii de incidenţă: continentul Nord American ocupă primul loc urmat de ţările Europene apoi România, unde avem 8,6% obezitate, 33,1% pre obezitate iar 41,7% dintre români au peste greutatea normală. Tendinţa creşterii numarului de persoane supraponderate şi a celor obeze este alarmantă la nivel mondial. În ultimele 3 decenii prevalenţa obezităţii s-a triplat în multe din ţările Europei si este în creştere. În anul 2010 ţările Uniunii Europene au avut aproximativ 150 milioane de adulţi obezi şi 15 milioane de copii cu obezitate. Luându-se în considerare şi supraponderea, aproximativ 60% din adulţi şi 20% dintre copiii de vârstă şcolară au avut greutatea peste normal. Conform datelor studiului EPIDIAB (Epidemia de diabet) numărul cazurilor de diabet s-a triplat în ultimul deceniu iar 82% din acestea asociază supragreutate sau obezitate.

FUMATUL
Lista bolilor asociate cu fumatul este foarte mare, de la cancerul pulmonar la diferite alte boli precum Infecţii respiratorii, cancere oro-faringite şi ale cavităţii bucale, cancere ale esofagului, ale stomacului, ficatului, pancreasului, uterului, boli cardiace si cerebro-vasculare şi multe altele. Statistice realizate de Organizaţia Mondială a Sănătăţii sugerează faptul că fumatul este responsabil pentru 71% din cele 1,3 milioane de mortalitati datorita cancerului la plamâni numai in 2004, cifrele fiind in crestere. În general, fumatul este responsabil pentru decesele a peste 5 milioane de persoane pe an şi se estimează ca până în anul 2030 această cifra va urca spre 8 milioane dacă nu se vor lua măsuri urgente. Avertizările din partea specialistilor a avut destul de putin success in lume. Interzicerea reclamelor pentru tigari au avut un succes nesemnificativ iar creşterea taxelor si accizelor nu a avut un efect in diminuarea consumului de tigari. Prin ordinul de Ministru cu nr 6508 din 19 decembrie 2012, titlul de doctor (PhD) a fost astfel atribuit oficial. Each living entity has a background, roots, history, culture, traditions, all have a very well defined identity, making our world, this living system [2] a very complex macro-organism, and exactly due to its complexity and diversity, a wonderful World. In the case of states, countries, the national identity is what defines them. A variety of meaningful symbols represents each nation. Violence brings violence. Violence creates social and economic instability, it builds distrust, and it brings destruction and death. Violence is part of our human nature. We all want peace. Can peace be obtained with violence? I do not think so. How can we obtain peace? It can be done by recognizing what we doing wrong and by behavior modification. The desire to achieve peace needs to be also reflected in the national symbols, flags, and anthems. The violence makes its way from the national symbol to attitudes and behavior, becoming in time a nationwide problem, not just as seldom isolated cases. Promoting violence from the very base, considering the fact that national symbols represent the national identity, makes violence to be an intrinsic part of that nation’s identity.
Therefore, based on such foundation depicted by the anthem, as the national symbol, violence, in general, becomes psychologically accepted by the majority of the population. In the time it becomes part of the norm but for some up to the point when a dear one becomes the victim of a random fire gun shoot.
I define a national symbol, including the national anthem, as “a small key to the big gate towards national identity, national dignity, national moral uplifting, sustainable development and not last, national and international peaceful climate and behavior”.

All nations, especially the ones that have anthems and flags with a strong negative psychological impact, should revise their national symbols. An accent I will put on the superpower nations, and all European Union State Members as well as future State Candidates to the European Union.

The anthem of European Union calls for unity thru music. There are controversies around the European anthem. The copyright holder, Herbert von Karajan, the author of the European Union anthem was a member of the Nazi Party (NSDAP) 1935-1945, membership number 3,430,914. This fact puts a great shadow on the anthem [17] that is meant to unite not only people but states, different cultures, habits, beliefs, traditions, history, especially when it comes to Second World War that affected and still affect even those days millions of people.

Furthermore, talking about understanding and tolerance, growth and letting the past in the past, I strongly believe that Russia should consider joining the European Union as being partially a European country and with their cultural diversity will make Europe much richer and stable.
The national anthem, as a symbol, creates and maintains the base of that nation. How we want to be as a nation, this is how we want to have our symbols.

During the State of Emergency, any financial help, any infusion of Government aid funds as financial assistance to companies, such as stimulus package or other names, it is NOT a good idea and is NOT justified. If the activity stopped, the people would receive direct personal assistance. Companies' financial obligations, as well as their financial expectations, will have to come to a freeze until all our activity as society begins to function after lifted State of Emergency. Basically, for such companies, the time stops into an "induced coma." And that is especially the case for companies engaged in activities that are not Life-related. Such financial aid will not be efficient in a time when all possible resources need to be concentrated towards the health care area, saving people Lives, finding solutions, and cures in overcoming pandemics. Humanity must protect the most valuable natural resource, namely the human resource, the people. Protect ourselves.
The present article intends to be an essential guideline recommendation that needs to be adapted to every country's needs and specific conditions as it can be agreed upon by specialists and government officials. Some may identify this guideline to better understand the proposed strategy and process, as a call for "financial ceasefire," or "take a financial break," or an invitation to "take a financial breath." I call it PEFAC, during a socio-financial-economic "induced coma." Regardless of how we may call it, the proposed and recommended strategy will reduce the impact of pandemics upon the future of the economy.
Time virtually will stop temporary for some segments of our economy and all related financial obligations and transactions (as an induced socio-financial-economic induced coma) until the crises will be over. Time will restart, and business will start as usual from where we left it as almost nothing happened from the business point of view. No income, no expenses. The company still exists, the employees are there hopefully healthy, the capital is there in the same place as we left it there.
We need to put a temporary stop to some of our economic and financial activities that are NOT directly related to Life-Sustaining basic-needs. Once we return to our operations, time restarts as almost nothing happened. We start it where we left it.
During the health crises, under the State of Emergency, the workers will not receive any payments, nor salaries, but will receive direct social assistance for food, utility bills, and medical care.
The rent and mortgage payments will come to a standstill with no dues, no interest or penalties of any kind for the State of Emergency period and even longer as to allow proper recovery. I recommend a gradual reintroduction of financial obligations and expectations.
All the payment dues under contract will cease between all parties, regardless if they are banks, private persons, companies, all government agencies. All agreements come to a standstill until the pandemics and the State of Emergency are over.
Also, the stock market should be brought to a standstill, time freeze, while banks should reduce their cash-out activity. I recommend price control of essential goods along with limiting the quantity of food and other goods purchases to prevent abuse and assure proper distribution, avoiding eventual waste due to time expiration of products.
The Government will allocate the relief funds as disaster aid directly to people, such as to protect and serve the people immediately as well as for the long term. The assistance covers the expenses for medical care, prescription drugs, medical equipment, and protection from virus, nutritious food, clean air and water, law enforcement to assure order and safety.
Will continue to function only the enterprises directly engaged in producing any necessary equipment and protective gear required for medical, pharmaceutical, food production, communication, and utility providers. They will receive direct payments from Government Aid.
